Feels like she is cheating

They remain like that for a while before Maxwell moved his mouth and suck on her lips more. Sonya felt enchanted by the feel of his lips on hers. After some minutes he released her. Immediately she was released, she open her to look at him then scurried out of his office. She got out and held her chest, she felt like her heart is about to jump out of her chest.

"Are you okay?" Amy stood up and walk up to her and asked concerned.

"Your face looks so red" she added. Sonya look at her and held her face, then she ran out to the elevator. Michael walk pass her and saw her run out.

"What happened to her?" he asked facing Amy.

"I don't know, she came out of the CEO's office like that" she shrugged.

"Really, that's strange. But wait isn't she the new employee?" he said and look toward the direction she ran to.

"Do you also know her also?" Amy asked curiously.

"What do you mean by also?" he asked and move closer to her.

"I entered the CEO's office about an hour ago and the position I met them was so intimate. I think she might be our lady boss" she said excitedly. Michael ignored her and entered Maxwell's office. Maxwell didn't notice him entering at all. He was sitting on his seat and smiling to himself.

"What are you doing right now?" Michael was surprised. "Why are you smiling to yourself like a teenager in love" he continued.

"Don't disturb me, am busy right" Maxwell said still smiling to himself.

"What on earth do you do to that poor girl, her face was all red" he said as he sat down.

"Are you ignoring me" still Maxwell didn't answer him, he looks like he's in an imaginary world of his own.

"Okay, since you've decide to ignore me, no problem. But I just hope you didn't kiss her or something?" Maxwell came out of his daze and focus his attention on him.

"So you are finally out of your dreamland" he said.

"What do you mean?" he said anxiously.

"Mr Maxwell, is it the word kiss that is making you this anxious?" he said to tease him.

"Am not joking, explain what you meant" Michael shake his head a little at his behavior, it's like he is looking at a young lad in love.

"Okay fine, but first answer my question. Do you kiss her?" he asked seriously. Maxwell didn't talk for a few second.

"I didn't really mean to do that, but... I just couldn't control myself and... Is it a wrong move?" he said and lean forward to Michael.

"It depends. How do you kiss her, was it French kiss or just a peck on the lips. Maxwell drew back from him.

"I don't really know the kind of kiss I should say it is. Actually I tried to stop myself from kissing her but I just couldn't, so I kissed her face and just place my lips on hers before I stopped" he explained.

"There you made a mistake, you should have given her a French kiss, that way she won't forget and will always think about it. But with what you described, she will probably think you just want her body and would avoid you" he said as he shake his head.

"What you are saying doesn't make any sense at all" he said and shush him away.

"you are really bad at courting a girl, you just told her you like her all of a sudden when she doesn't even know you well at all and now you kissed her. Michael stood and point at him. "Don't worry, you will come back to me and by then you will beg for my advice and I won't give it then" he walk out of his office.

"maybe he shouldn't have rush it like that. Should he have really kissed her like that he wondered but discard the thought. He has been wanting to taste her lips and finally doing that feels like he was on cloud nine. His whole body has reacted to her and it's took a lot of strength for him to stop. But unfortunately, Michael word seems to be true.

"Are you saying she is not in the office again?" Maxwell asked Amy getting annoyed.

"This is the fourth time he will send Amy to check for Sonya in her office and every time she has been absent" he thought unhappily.

"Is she avoiding him on purpose just like what Michael said" he thought again and dismissed Amy. He has even tried contacting her online but she did not come online too. Normally, she would have bared her heart to him about it but she didn't even leave a message. He did want to involve but has no where else to get information on her where about, so he pick up his phone to call Evelyn.

"Do you know anything about Sonya's whereabouts?" he asked immediately the phone connected.

"Why are you concerned with her whereabouts?" Evelyn ask from the other line.

"She has been absent from the company since the beginning of the week." he replied.

"She went on a trip with people from her department" she said not suspecting anything. Before she could say another word Maxwell cut the call.

"It appears he was over thinking things. She just went on a trip. Why didn't he think about that" he thought and relax to continue his work.

"How was your trip?" Evelyn asked Sonya and collect her bag from her.

"It was okay" she simply reply and settle down on the chair. "Where is loveth?" she asked and scan around the room for her.

"She is out with her new boyfriend. Why didn't you tell me you were working at my brother's company?" Sonya was startled by her question.

"You..have..not..been in a good mood recently, so.. i probably forgot to tell you" she stuttered and smile feeling nervous. She wondered why she is nervous. It's not like she has done anything bad. She thought and remember that day in Maxwell's office.

"What the hell are you thinking about?" Evelyn snap her finger at her.

"Hmm sorry, I got carried away for a moment. I will be in my room" she said and picked up her stuff and head to her room. She place her bag and start to unpack them. After she got back from the office that day she has not been able to get her mind off the kiss but thankfully she had somewhere to go to and clear her head. It was her first kiss and she didn't know how to explain what she was feeling. She remembers the scene and blush. She quickly stop herself.

"I can't let myself get carried away by that at all. I need to get my head on straight" she thought but couldn't get the scene out of her head after many days. She roll on the floor and screamed a little trying not to picture his face in her head. "Are you sure you are good?" Evelyn asked as she opens the door. Sonya sits up quickly.

"Am good, why would you think that?" she quickly comport herself.

"I called your name just now to tell you that loveth is back but you didn't reply" she said and close the door after her.

"Ahem, I was actually preparing to take a bath, so I didn't hear you call" she lied but regretted it immediately.

"But you are still putting on your clothes. And your bag is still unpacked" she said stating the obvious.

"Just come out soon, loveth bought dinner" she said and walk out. Sonya hurry in the bathroom to take a bath. She came out later and join them at the dinning. They all chatted for a while and later went to their rooms. Sonya picked up her phone and check her chat with Simon. she saw that for about one week now she have not talk at all, the last time they talked was when she informed him about her trip and she did not even go into details about it at all. Apart from the first thing she has told him about Maxwell, she has not told him anything about it again. The only two people she talks to is Simon and handsome man, her online friend. And she has not even talk to him for a while too. For some unknown reason, she felt like she has cheated on handsome man, but she quickly discard the feeling. They are just online friends no need to feel guilty about anything, and beside she is not dating Maxwell or anything like that...
