Chapter 43: THE LADY OF WHITE

The group continued to walk,

But as they so, rain poured mercilessly,

Thunder clapped and a scream echoed loudly,

Eleazar turned around to check, eventually.

His eyes widened in shock when he saw the heavens,

A face of hatred clearly present,

He looked at the group and told them to run,

But in their tired state, and focus gone,

How can the team, resume to follow command?

"The heavens have been took over, we need to hide from it,"

Eleazar said as he gave a luminous blast that lit,

It destroyed the cloud formation but it kept going back,

Eleazar grunts, they're surely losing luck.

He looked at Ken, and felt a familiar aura,

The descendant of seers, for many millenias,

He felt happiness surged, as he found the last seer on earth,

And took his hand to walk up first,

While the others were half-dead in freezing cold.

They stopped at a building top, a hole gaping in its center,

It's dark with and empty inside, but Eleazar has to make sure there was no intruder,

He put his hand unto the hole, and it illuminated a blinding glow,

It spread across its wide wide space, no one groaned, it's safe to go.

The floor was cold and wet,

while the ceilings are full of webs,

But none of them paid mind,

Right now, sleep is all they want inside.

Except Eleazar, who have been smiling ever since he saw Ken's eyes,

A familiar streak of power, from ancient time so old and wise,

'Just wait for a little moment, little ones, you're in for a surprise...'

...

After cleaning up, a small portion of the structure,

They tried to rest, Ken befall a deep deep slumber,

But what came were not a good dream, but a scary nightmare,

Of hands so skinny, reaching out from hell.

He felt himself burning, pain throbbing in his chest,

As he tried to free himself from the hands,

But it did nothing nonetheless,

And before his eyes a scene played out,

Of reapers and angels in a brawl,

Against the force of evil, and there he saw,

The woman of white, like winter snow.

The two sides clash, and a bloody scene played out,

Ken felt the horror, but does not know what it's about,

Bodies get sliced in half, while others simply burned,

Ken felt he had enough, these things he felt,

like he doesn't have to learn.

He closed his eyes abruptly, and tried to wake,

But failed to do so, and the groans of pain continued to break,

He cried and yelled to stop it, but nothing seemed to work,

Ken's struggles stopped completely,

When he heard bones seemingly broke.

He opened his eyes as impulse,

And saw the woman of white beside him,

In her hands was a dying winged creature,

With pointed ears and feminine features.

The woman looked at him briefly, before continuing to fight,

Ken felt confused and baffled, is this the past, or future?

What an unexpected sight...
