2 Stereotypical

I woke up in a pure white room.

At first, I assumed I was in heaven but after a 20 minuets of waiting in my 5m-by-5m box nothing happened.

I was not hungry, and I was not tired: I felt perfectly at the peak of my health.

Such to say I was confused.

What was happening to me?

Where am I?

As I was about to start complaining, a blue bordered message appeared in front of me.

[Hello candidate 233782418217, due to humanity's impending extinction we decided it would be a waste of an intelligent species. To amuse ourselves, you will be put into a new world where you shall fight each other for supremacy. You will also have to fight 5 other species.]

[You will be a lord and you will need to grow a kingdom from scratch.]

[But first, you need to you will need to roll your species. Species will decide what species you will spawn as, and each has their own advantages and disadvantages.]

[We wish you luck on your first roll.]

So, I am dead, I've just been or going to be transmigrated.

As a web novel grandmaster, I must say this is...

Odd, I mean, I didn't ever think they were even remotely true.

I guess I need to remember tropes about the whole genre of transmigration. Did it say candidate 233782418217, okay from this I can gather it's on a much larger scale than I even imagined.

The Earth population after the robotics revolution was 600billion but after VR came out the population declined at a terrifying rate. I believe the latest numbers were 500billion.

So, all human transmigrated. What about children?

Too many questions; to little answers.

Okay, I need to roll my race. It's not completely bad and I can never completely lose. As long as I adapt quick enough, I can bring out the benefits of my race to fullest, I should be fine.

In the time I was thinking a shiny slot machine appeared behind me. As I turn around, I'm greeted by the most pretentious named machine. `Destiny Roller` was what it was called, like c'mon, whoever named it could not name it something less tacky.

A button saying the words roll appeared in front of me and figuring waiting was useless, I pressed the button.

I did not believe in luck. I believed in right.

If I wanted something, I wouldn't wait for it to come for me. I would instead charge head-first at what I wanted. I believed in action rather than a belief in some dodgy concepts.

The roll was continuing for a while and my brain worked overtime to try to figure out more of what was going to happen next.

Maybe a roll for talent? That sounds about right for the genre. Then I would get some broken golden finger that makes it impossible for me to lose.

Finally, the machine finished, I looked at the result and a picture of a red pitchfork was shown with the words `Demon` under it.

Okay, okay, Demons had good strength and speed but are known to be dumb and lack magical capabilities (I can assume there will be magic, right?). It depends on their interpretation of the Demon.

As I was processing the data given to me, I felt a pain start to grow in my head.

At first, it was manageable: just a slight headache.

It got worse.

It got much worse.

I felt my head split apart as 2 appendages grew out of my skull. Bones the same size as my foot grew out of my head and needless to say, I was not happy about it.

In hindsight, it was easy to predict I would change into a demon, but my idea of predicting the future blinded me to the immediate effects. An oversight on my part.

The 2 horns were as black as obsidian and my appearance changed a lot less than I thought. Apart from the horns, the only other change was a slightly darker skin tone. My skin had tuned darker though I must say it seems more radiant.

A darker purity was present, and more horns only highlighted the idea of beauty and danger mixing into a blend called demons.

I was also given new knowledge on the demonic society. From the language I now knew, to the different statuses of demons, I knew a few important pieces of information that would be lifesaver for running working society.

Demonic society was sorted into 10 stages:

1. . Lower Demons were the slaves of the demonic race. They did not have even the slightest hint of rights and were obedient to those over the Regular rank demons. They were identified through them having a single horn and colourless eyes.

2. . Regular Demons were the lower and middle class of the Demonic race. They made up most of the demon population and were obedient to those above Baron rank. They were identified through having 2 horns and colourless eyes. They were identified through having 2 horns and colourless eyes.

3. . High demons could live as high-class citizens. They had a lot of laws made up on their benefit and were only obedient to those above Viscount rank. They were identified through having 2 horns and red eyes.

4. . Baron Demons were the start of the Demonic noble lineage. They are above the law and obedient to those above the Count rank. Baron Demons and above have very mixed appearances.

5. . Viscount rank was the start of the major power houses of the Demon race. They were only obedient to those above the Marquee rank.

6. . Count rank Demons were only obedient to those above duke rank.

7. . Marquee rank Demons were only obedient to the Demon king.

8. . Duke rank Demons were only obedient to the Demon king.

9. . Archduke rank Demons were only obedient to the Demon king.

10. King Demons were the rulers of the Demonic system. They had all the power and were brutal dictators. They had ruling in their blood and used it to dominate those below the rank.

Overall, it was hard to raise your blood rank, but it was possible. Through arduous work and enough stimuli, your blood could evolve. It was incredibly rare for demons to go through this though, as they were too arrogant at the high ranks and were too simple minded at the lower ranks.

Demons were perhaps the strongest race, but had major problems with emotions. They were incredibly impulsive and that would lead to making enemies and endless wars. Through these wars, they gained the image of warmongers who thirsted for blood, but they were simply fanatical revenge seekers.

It was in their blood to seek revenge. At times, the revenge would be unfair, but it was still revenge.

Anyway, enough of that, for now I have more massages from the being who brought me here.

[Good job on rolling Demons, you will now roll for a starting location.]

[From ranks 1 to 5 the lower the rank the better your starting location. That's resources, it's also partial to your race and potential for development.]

[This is the last roll you will have and is the only biased one. We cannot have everyone start out in a perfect spot after all.]

[We wish you luck as you will immediately spawn in your starting location after the roll.]

So, I'm rolling for starting location and the lower the number, the better. Now is the time for me to get a suitable number, as this will directly affect my development.

No matter my number, I will still work my hardest to make the most out of it.

I roll the pretentious machine.

It rolls.

And rolls.

It stops.

I got a...
