New world order: Global transmigration

What would you do if you were dumped into a new world with no plan, no friends, and no idea how you were going to complete your objective? What is the objective, you may ask? World domination, obviously. Join Alex as he navigates his way through twists and turns to complete his hopeless objective. He was not special, but he had one advantage; he was hard-working. But was that enough in this world of ungodly lucky protagonists and murderous villains? I'll guess you will find out, if you read the web novel. :) (The art is not made by me and if you are the original creator you can ask me take it down by commenting so on any of the chapters)

One with the moon, Forever with the sun, Orbiting the earth.

Another day in a new world.

So, what have I got on the schedule on this fine day?

I was feeling exceedingly happy today. I had no clue why, but did it matter if I knew?

I was just glad I had a smile on my face.

Nope, I'm going off-topic again. The schedule for today is:

First: Continue to check out that moon icon. 2 hours.

Second: Meet some citizens to have a chat. 2 hours.

Third: Lunch, 30 min.

Fourth, train alongside my citizens' 2 hours.

5th : Continue to explore the moon icon for 2 hours and 30 minutes.

6th: Dinner, 30 minutes.

7th: meditation. 3 hours.

8th: Sleep.

I walked out of my hut and started walking towards the icon of the moon.

Seeing the view again at sunrise was a magnificent sight, but it was not what I was looking for. Today, I was looking only for the moon icon.

Looking out into the view, out of the corner of my eye, I see a gleam in the direction of the moon icon.

"Bingo!" I say it aloud in delight.

I found what I was looking for: a chest.

The chest was coated in what looked like mercury and had a constantly changing pattern. It looked liquid at times, yet solid at others, and was the definition of forever changing.

Reaching my hand into the stream of mercury, I found the surface receded.

From the receding gap, I see a book.

The book had an illustration of the moon orbiting the sun and earth. It looked ancient. A wonderful aura of calm yet stern ferocity radiated from the book.

It had the title: One with the moon, Forever with the sun, orbiting the earth.

What an odd title!

I take a look at the book, and when I take it out of the strange chest, the chest immediately turns fully liquid and seeps away to the ground.

I also received a notification.

Although I wanted to read the book now, some information about the book would be nice, so I opened up my system.

[Congratulations on finding a rare magic art.]

Is that it's also just rare? Looking at the book makes me wonder how you would find an epic or legendary magic art form. Would it be in a dragon's heart or something?

Oh well, I can find information on the book a separate way.

"Inspect," I say, to be dramatic.

[Rare magic art: One with the moon, Forever with the sun, Orbiting the earth.

[This technique was made from the core essence of a moon and is the primal energy that makes up all magic. In theory, this technique should be legendary rank, but because the main user has to rely on others, in the competition, this technique ranks fairly lowly due to its relying on others too much and its host not being very powerful. Thus, rebellion is common.]

[Rankings in the technique go: infant, child, teen, low-adult, mid-adult, high adult, grand adult, ancestor, solar system. The user will need to cultivate to a certain level and then have 3 of each user to break through to the next rank.]

[How to Practice (As a Supplement to the Competition)]

[The moon user is the god of cultivation. The moon cultivates slowly but has supremely refined abilities that hold much more mysterious magical abilities.]

[The Suns are the primary cultivators and must cultivate during the day; they are by far the fastest in cultivation speed but have relatively unrefined magical abilities.]

[The Earths are the powerful commanders. They must cultivate with at least 3 sun users. The higher the sun to earth user ratio, the higher the efficiency. They have a medium speed of cultivation and medium potency in their earthly abilities.]

[The moon user is the main user due to the book's origin. The foundation of the technique is in the solar system's core energy. This technique would be completed if the user could find the sun's core energy and the earth's core energy.]

Woah.

That is so cool. I can be a magician. Is this not every human's greatest dream? To shoot fireballs at someone and to teleport at will.

But with this technique, I need to be the moon user, and the moon user is the weakest. Yeah, I'm sure my abilities would be great in the long term, but a sun user would destroy me in terms of pure firepower.

Why can I not be a Sun user?

dam system and its stupid shenanigans. Oh, I didn't even realise it was a magic technique that requires mana. Remind me how much mana I have again.

Yep 1.

My citizens are in literal half digits, and I have been given a magic art.

This stupid system and its dum games Could it not have given me a tropical location? No, send him to the snowy peaks. Could it not have sent me a good blood test? No, send him the dodgiest magical art we have.

And I am of the demon race, where status equals strength.

Yep, I'm screwed.

At this point, I'm lying in my own tears in the cave.

I calmed down for a split second after looking over at the setting sun. So, what if I was the moon? It said my abilities were mysterious, right? Why should I have to inform my citizens that the moon is the weakest?

I could just put up a front that it's really strong.

That could work.

Alex, you genius.

`Mysterious Moon King.`

That is the title I intend to pursue.

Do I cultivate a bit before I give this to my citizens, though? so as to give the impression that I was strong from the start.

Definitely, the image was something I needed to set up perfectly.

Okay, let's move on like nothing has happened.

I get up and dust myself off. My suit was pretty much just rags now, and the demons needed new clothing as well.

A wide grin was present on my face. I was going to make this work. Screw race limitations, screw dumb magical art limitations; if the organisers wanted to kill me, they would need to try a bit more.

I was going to fool my way to victory.

Like any good king would.

As always, have a nice day,

Author.
