New world order: Global transmigration

What would you do if you were dumped into a new world with no plan, no friends, and no idea how you were going to complete your objective? What is the objective, you may ask? World domination, obviously. Join Alex as he navigates his way through twists and turns to complete his hopeless objective. He was not special, but he had one advantage; he was hard-working. But was that enough in this world of ungodly lucky protagonists and murderous villains? I'll guess you will find out, if you read the web novel. :) (The art is not made by me and if you are the original creator you can ask me take it down by commenting so on any of the chapters)

I woke to the sound of someone speaking.

"lo*d g*t-**"

Hm, what are they talking about?

I opened my eyes to find a blue-haired boy, no Oliver, was shaking me.

"What are you doing waking me, *yawn*, up?"

"We thought you were dead. Why are you here? "

Sorry? Dead. Why did they think that?

They went to sleep thinking nothing of it and probably went to check on me, but did not find me, so they assumed the worst and went searching for me.

Yep, that fits the scenario.

So, how do I cultivate it without raising suspicion? I can't have them suspect me of cultivating Do I say I'm sick, nocturnal perhaps?

No, that's obvious, but how do I do it? I need to cultivate whilst not letting go of the fact that I'm cultivating Moon magic.

I could say I'm admiring the moon and then not reveal that I got the cultivation method from a chest.

That's perfect. Okay, so I'm going to say I made up the cultivation manual from observing the earth and moon and waffle about how it fascinated me and then explain how it felt natural to start to imagine it.

This will give the image that I'm a cultivation genius and also decrease the likelihood that they want to rebel against me.

My 6 INT really does show great effects.

There may be problems along the way, but I'm sure I can fix them at the time.

Okay, I need to set it up now.

"Sorry Oliver, I was admiring the moon and got lost in admiration. Its splendour captivated me and I could not look away. I'm deeply sorry for worrying you. "

He looks relieved but also frightened.

"It's not our fault that you're worried. I'm also sorry for waking you in such a way. "Please sir, punish me for my actions."

I hate this. Feeling valued is great, but them seeking punishment for not doing so properly is horrid. I hated the grovelling. The fact that they even felt the need to apologise disgusted me.

"Get up, I have to apologise to the rest as well."

"No sir, you really don't."

"No Oliver, I was in the wrong and for that I need to apologise."

He looks sad for some reason. I walk away from the viewing cave, as I now call it, with a droopy companion by my side.

When we returned, I was greeted with applause, and when I apologized, they all grovelled like children.

I get they were grateful for how I ruled them, but still, they had no shame in their antics. For goodness sake, they were adults. Grow up!

I found out I woke up at around 2 pm, which was frightful. I had missed half my daylight hours, but considering how this may be a regular occurrence in the future, I brushed past it.

I moved through the day like normal, completing a new build called a gate. Yep, a gate. I did not know we needed a blueprint for that, but I made one anyway.

I placed it on the hole to the viewing cave and said it was off-limits to everyone. It was to be my cultivation area after all.

After that, I trained a bit more, ate a bit, and then had a nap. Finally, the sunset, and it was time to cultivate.

Now was the grindy time for my area, and I was ready to grind. It was the most important time of the game; from the beginning to midgame decided the position of the endgame, and I needed to play my moves carefully.

I couldn't afford to make a mistake now, or the game might end here, so I needed to train hard and prepare my position to the best of my ability.

[Day 6] (This will be a thing for both you and me to keep track of the dates.)

I woke up, this time not to the sound of Oliver but to the sound of massive Hawkes fighting outside again.

Dam the unruly beasts. I was going to destroy these annoying pests one day. Mark my words, I will exact my vengeance one day!

Moving on to a regular day, a normal schedule:

I went to fighting practise first, where I had my first battle with Dante, and I must say, what a beast. His downward swings seemed to bring down the wrath of God, and the pure intent when he chopped could bring a lower demon to his knees.

With enough time, I figured out a new way to beat him, and it was actually quite simple.

Moon magic. I simply used a simple spell I could perform called "Full Moon. A bright ball of light appears in my hand, and I can use it to distract my opponent.

When they asked how I did it, I said, and I quote, "I am simply experimenting on something."

That enhanced my image, making me seem mysterious and powerful. I think

Moving on, after beating Dante, I started to experiment with what other powers I could use, and after some experimenting, I made a cool trick I uniquely named "flashbang."

I used the full moon for a millisecond, and it created a flash of light brighter than even my eyes could handle. I essentially maxed the mana output yet shortened the spell time to create a flash bang.

It drained half my mana in a single second, so I could not use it much, but the technique could be used to kill an enemy in a fight fairly easily.

I then continued my day, and by sunset I had completed my easy mission again.

This time I got a makeshift bed. This was great as my back was getting sore from laying on the ground from sleeping.

Demons can sleep on the floor, and lower demons are even expected to because beds are expensive, but sleeping on the floor can cause back pain in even me, a baron rank demon, over a few nights of doing so.

The bed, though, was just a collection of leaves and other foliage, stiffed into a fur of some kind.

It was a great product that did its job really well.

Sadly, I was noticing a trend...

The demand for furs was increasing, and I was beginning to realise that only those at the top of the hierarchy were going to get these luxuries.

Was it not inevitable, though, that inequality was needed for a competitive society?

I could at least make it possible for the poor. Unlike my predecessors, who just made them slaves, I wanted to give my citizens the most opportunities and also give them the proper motivation for growth.

So, I gave out a mission in the town hall that I had made previously, for people, in their free-time, to hunt wolves for their coats.

For the time being, the reward was set at nothing because I, first, had no idea what to give and, second, assumed everyone was content enough to contribute to this society.

It was naive, but for mostly ex-slaves, it would probably work.

This was for their good, not mine.

After sorting out that mess, I was ready for my third night of cultivation.

Tomorrow was the day I had a new set of 10 lower demons, so I had to make a speech. Apart from that, a daily mission, and I would maybe hunt a bit to supply more furs and also train, as always.

This will be the end of the beginning of the beginning, and we will start to move into the middle of the beginning.

Time will pass much more quickly, though I will zoom back in, so to speak, on important events.

So a change in set-up is to be expected.

I'm going to be writing a story of Alex's whole life, and going day by day is not feasible anymore, so I hope you can grow to like the format I will be writing in and enjoy the story as much as I do thinking about it.

This is the story of Alex and the new world order.

As always, have a nice day,

Author.
