Chapter 29 : Plans

It was now more than a year since my first visit inside a dungeon.

Many things changed. That dungeon, which was now named Ixha Dungeon, was now open to adventurers. After we reported things we've seen to the Guild, Kain-san swiftly did his job about the dungeon. He also told us based on the information that it is a 'natural dungeon'.

There are 3 types of dungeons, and the most common of them was the natural dungeon. It was something more of a cave full of monsters and had so many pathways you could get lost in your way. The other type is 'structured dungeon', something like spawning a ruins out of nowhere and filled with many traps and the like.

It was structured, and it's size determines how much rooms it has and it's loots depend on it's location. You might even get just sand if you're wandering at a desert dungeon.

The last type is the most rare, and is called 'Artificial Dungeons'. Its structures differed too, based on the location and where it spawned... or created. Yes, there were some popular dungeon that are created by races.

Artificial Dungeons will spawn in ruins. If, for example, there's a ruin of some sort, a big structure, there is a chance of it becoming a dungeon. Also, dungeons reactivated by someone, mostly demons, are also considered as Artificial Dungeons.

Dungeons are incredibly dangerous, but also very rewarding. Why, you ask? The final loot said to be always near the dungeon's core were legendary things that might become yours. One of the examples was the legendary sword the first Liberal Style user used. It was said that after the user died, the next user of it... will gain the experiences of the first users of the sword, as if they experienced it themselves. By the way, that sword came from the most famous dungeon, Exail Ruins, and was named after the dungeon.

But the dungeon that spawned here is a Natural Dungeon. It was much more easier than the other types, so beginner adventurers can easily roam the first floor at their own risk. However, just going through the second floor... monsters will become 2 times stronger.

When Eina and I first got down to the second floor, the tirst monsters look just the same, but then the goblin just sped up so quick if I hadn't reacted my head will roll down.

But that's the past. Currently, Ixha Dungeon was still in state of being cleared, with rooms explored now reaching 27(It was only the strongest adventurer who had explored until there). Eina and I... we're now struggling at 9th floor.

Look, that floor is just... it's so hard magic users might not pass it. The monsters there are immune to magic! And my swordplay wasn't that much good either. [Aetherial Manifestation]can make magic wrap around my robe, enhancing it, but I can't still figure out strengthening magic.

I tried doing experiments first... I did it at the Crooken, that was basically just a chicken in Earth, first. What happened was... it's body bloated up. It died, of course. I... I'm glad I didn't use it without any experimentation...

Anyways, Eina and I were now much stronger than before. I'm still C-rank though. And Eina was C-rank now too. I'm told I might become B-rank soon, but it is still soon.

Currently, I'm on my room counting all the money I've saved up. I'm nearly 15, and the Academy only accept 15 year-olds and next year, it will start at 3rd month.

"58, 59, 60, 61... 12 gold and 61 silver coins... I'd say it's more than enough."

When I counted atleast 10 golds earlier, I'm more than happy. After all, I could get Eina and I enrolled without using my parents' money. It was something I could never do in my past life. A silent otaku just staring at his screen playing something appeared in my mind.

Yeah, I'm different now. I'm much stronger now. However, I still worry.mWorry that it might just repeat. Me getting all intellectual, being all alone again. Will I repeat that again? I don't een wanna live if it did happen.

A knock on the door resounded just after I reached those thoughts. A second later Eina's face peeked in and called me.

"Master, breakfast's ready."

At those remarks, I smiled gently and said, "Yeah. I'm coming down."

Maybe seeing me in a different mood, Eina tilted her head.

"Is there something wrong, Master?"

"...No, it's nothing. More importantly, the food shouldn't be made to wait."

I can't worry her too much with my thoughts. I cleaned and hid the money in my 'Item Box' skill. Apparently, [Aetherial Manifestation ]has an auto control thingy so that I can easily control magic, but if physical body was involved, I would need to control it myself. And the body is too much complex for me to explore, so I don't create magic involving physical body.

After eating a delicious breakfast, I went to the market with Eina. We're gonna visit that old man again to have maintenance on our equipment for now. We've been going into the dungeon these days more often, after all.

And as expected, he was just too noisy that after entrusting it on him, we quickly left.

"Master, that, can I buy it? It looks delicious!"

"You don't need my permission, do you? And it's gonna be my treat today."

"Yay!"

We went off to have a bit of fun in the market before going back home. Though after we arrived, I went to my room quick and called Eina.

"Hm, Master, was is it?"

"We're gonna talk just a little bit."

After patting the side of my bed, Eina went and sat there as I looked on the window I was facing. Eina did so.

"Well, you said younwant to accompany me to fhe academy right?"

"Yes. I'm your servant, so it's natural."

"...I see."

"Master?"

I smiled at her and said, "Well, I have completed my savings now, and yes, we'll go there together. I even have an extra."

Her cat tails formed a ? and tilted her head. And then after a while, her tail stood up like a stick.

"Eeeh?! Younhave that much savings already, Master?!"

"Quiet down, Eina! No need to shout!"

"Ah! I-I'm sorry... but still, you're too fast at saving money, Master! I've only saved up less than 3 gold in a year, and you have much more than that?"

"Hahaha, no need to compete. I'll use it to pay for your enrollment there."

After I told her that, she rejected me and said she'll do it herself. But no matter. I'll do it anyways. And It's still a long way to go. I still have time... and I'll enjoy every last bit of it.
