14. I don't know force control

(A few days later)

Eunwoo was waiting outside Jiwoo's room along with the rest. He sat comfortably in his wheelchair and Jisuk had deemed to have become Eunwoo's escort as he pushed the wheelchair wherever the younger wanted to go.

"Are you sure Jiwoo would be alright?", Iseul asked.

"I have no doubt", Eunwoo replied smiling.

Kartein finally exited the room.

"How did it go?", inquired Kayden.

"Is that even a question? Of course, I healed him."

The five teens cheered while Kayden, Kartein, and Jiyoung chatted as Jiyoung expressed her gratitude.

'He must be exhausted...'

Eunwoo pushed the wheels until he was near Kartein. He bowed 45 saying, "Mr. Kartein, thank you for healing Jiwoo."

"Hmm... Is there any improvement in your legs?", he asked staring down at the young kid.

Eunwoo sat straight and stared back at the blond male with his doe eyes in surprise. "Pardon? N-none at all..."

"Alright. Rest well, I'll treat you once you're discharged."

"O-oh thank you so much... You too rest well. It must've been exhaustive since you were continuously treating Jiwoo for a few days." Eunwoo gave him a light bow before the elder left along with Kayden mumbling something along the line 'At least he's not like you.'

Jisuk ruffled Eunwoo's hair saying, "So Mr. Kartein is going to treat you? That's great! "

"Hehe... I'm glad I'll be able to move like before", Eunwoo smiled brightly. He felt truly happy and felt like this was finally a place where he belonged.

Kayden pushed Eunwoo as he and Kartein went to meet Jiwoo. As soon as they entered the room they were greeted by Jiwoo.

"You're here." He said excitedly.

"Did you rest well?" asked Kayden leaving Eunwoo near Jiwoo's bed.

"Yes."

"Look at him, he's smiling so brightly now", Eunwoo joked and Jiwoo rubbed his neck feeling embarrassed.

"You look much better than before. You refused treatment at first, but now you seem happy that you've healed." Kayden said sweetly smiling at the younger.

Kartein interrupted, "There's no time to chat, so let's get started. I'm busy."

Kayden stood behind with Eunwoo as Kartein treated Jiwoo.

After finishing the treatment, Kartein said, "Hey, kid. I told you not to do force control without my permission."

"I'm sorry. I was so happy that my core got fixed... So I tried just for a moment. I never overworked it!"

"I don't need you to tell me that, I also know you didn't. How did you feel when you did force control?"

"It hurt a little. It was even harder to mobilize power than before."

"Obviously. Since your core was put back together after being broken. Still, keep in mind you need to practice regularly, but moderately."

Jiwoo was overjoyed that he could do force control again which made Eunwoo smile, finally feeling a bit at ease.

"You don't have to be here anymore, so stay at home. Since my treatment is all you'll need to get now." Kartein continued now looking at Eunwoo, "Since you'll be going home today as well, let's start your treatment at home. Why haven't you done force control? Your core is fine, right?"

"Oh, I don't know how to do it...", Eunwoo rubbed his neck nervously.

"Actually," Kayden started, "the incident happened one week after he discovered his awakened ability."

"I see. Show me what your awakened ability is."

"Huh? Alright..."

Eunwoo concentrated to create a new weapon he was working on for the last week. He thought why not create a gun because it will be beneficial for long-distance combat? Within ten seconds there was a golden gun in his right hand. Even though he managed to make a new object he still needed to practice his aim.

In his hand laid a shiny Golden pistol which was about 25 cm big.

"Hmm... Interesting... What else can you make?", asked Kartein.

"Daggers and a shield like barrier."

"That looks so cool Eunwoo!", Jiwoo exclaimed.

Kayden joined in, "When did you learn to make that?"

"Ah... actually last week. I wanted something for long-distance combat because my style is more of a short-distance one." Eunwoo said suddenly feeling shy.

"And you don't know how to do force control?", Kartein confirmed.

"That's right."

"It's alright. I'll teach--", Kayden was interrupted by Kartein.

"Don't even bother. I'll teach him force control after he has recovered."

"Umm... Are you sure Mr. Kartein? From what I've seen till now, it's something very precious for an awakened one." Asked Eunwoo with his eyes widened.

Eunwoo couldn't believe The Kartein was going to teach him his force control.

"It's my decision to teach you."

The younger bowed gratefully. "Then I shall be in your care Mr. Kartein."

"Let's go home now", saying that the blond walked out of the room.

"I think Kartein has grown a soft spot for your brother", Kayden whispered to Jiwoo.

"Really? You think so, Mr. Kayden? That's great", said Jiwoo.

"I'll come back in the evening to pick you up. Let me take Eunwoo home now."

"Bye Hyung. I'll be waiting for ya", Eunwoo waved while grinning from ear to ear.

Jiwoo chuckled before Kayden dragged the younger twin by his wheelchair.
