Kristen's pov

              " I know its not in my place to ask but how are you faring ?? You know after what you discovered" he asked with concern. The memories of yesterday flooded my brain and I could feel tears trying to escape my eyes. " is everything okay??" He ask again. I wiped the tears off my eyes

" yes I'm okay, just found out that it has been going on a little over a year and I have been a fool for.." he interrupted me

" hey, hey, none of this is your fault, you can't call yourself a fool because of what they did. I think you need to get your mind of this, I actually have an offer for you. It involves money and it can help you take your mind off things"

       Okay, I wasn't expecting that at all

" uh, what do you mean?? I'm so confused right now so..."

" dont be, just come with me. You are going to take the day off, we need to talk." He held my hand and pulled me down the hall into the elevator.

" you need to tell me what's going on sir "

"Aiden "

"What are you...?"

" call me Aiden,  that's my name."

" I'm going to take you out to get a dress right now, I have a party to attend tonight." He checked his wrist- watch and brought out his phone.  Aiden, he wants me to call him Aiden which is weird. An offer?? I wonder what he means.

          " you mean the party with other entrepreneurs??" I asked rubbing my arms together, I was starting to feel uncomfortable.

" yes, that's the one " he smirked

" and you are buying me a dress?"

" that's right, you are going with me." Okay he's crazy.

" The press are going to be there, you wouldn't want any scandal "

He smirked again " miss Jones... uh what do I call you?"

"Kristen"

" Kristen dear, you are going to get paid for this done worry about it."

we got out of the elevator already and walked to his audi r8.

" you are into sport cars uh??" I asked.

He giggled " yes I am, who isn't??

" you still haven't told me what the offer is"

" first, let get you a dress"

      We got to a boutique and he picked the first dress that caught his eyes. He handed it over to me and said " try it on"

I loved it the instant I tried it on. It hugged my body perfectly and it was just my size. I walked of the changing room and I showed him my dress. He didn't say anything for a while, he just stared at the dress.

" prefect" He smiled. I was wearing a black anklet strap heels already so I think im good to go. One of the sales associate wrapped my old clothes in a bag for me. We walked up to the counter and he asked for the price. I saw the way the lady was looking at him, it was obvious she knows who he is.

" Thank you " he said as we left the boutique.

" would you tell me what the plan is now??" I asked, I don't know what I was getting myself into.

" if you know me well would you know..." he began

" I don't know you that much " I said without looking at him.

" oh that's weird, I'm very popular, everyone knows me " oh his pompous ass. 

" too bad,  I'm not everyone" He laughed

" of course you are not " Aiden replied " you need to get revenge on your ex and your ex- bestie "

Okay I'm speechless

" listen, they did you wrong, imagine going out with the most successful person in the country. They are both going to regret treating you the way they did. "

He seemed so serious about it, but then I know he wants something in return. No one would definitely offer you money because your own ex cheated on you.

" what's in for you??" I turned to him, he turned his head to me and I could feel his blue eyes piercing through mine.

" you won't just go out with me tonight Kristen, we are going to be a couple for a while."

The hell....

" what the fuck is going on??" I said almost yelling.

" calm down okay?? My mum always complained about the fact that I'm stil single. When I got back, I lied to her that I got a girlfriend. She wants to meet her. I know my mom, she would definitely think im lying, so I want the press to get this first, then I can introduce you to her, this is just going to be for a while. I just feel you are the right person for this job, you can get your revenge and make money at the same time." He turned to look at me one time and turned back to the road. I like the revenge part, I really hate both of them for what they did to me. There's nothing wrong with pretending to be happy in a new relationship, It would be amazing.

" fine, let's do it. " I smirked liking the idea.

" nice, after our grand entrance at the party tonight, we would need to talk about a story we would tell my mom about how we met. She loves love stories, and she will definitely want to know how we met. We get to meet her during the weekend, my sisters are going to be there." He has sisters too, that's pretty nice.  I wonder if his mom is going to believe the whole of this or if she's going to be okay with me being with her son.

" is something wrong?" I turned to look at him, We've stopped already and I'm guessing we are at the venue already.

" everything is fine Aiden " I smiled

" great, are you ready??" He had a smile on his face, the one that convinces that everything will be fine.

" I'm ready " he grabbed his suit, turned around and opened the car door for me. We entwined our fingers and walked to the red carpet. I can hear them throwing different questions like:

' who are you wearing ?' Or ' who are you planning to meet tonight ' the only question Mr King answered was

' who are you with tonight?'

He answered
