As we toured the grounds of the mansion Emma made an effort to try to get to know her daughters. She engaged in brief conversations asking about their life and likes and tentatively brought up the opportunity for them to attend her school. It was funny how she was so desperate to connect but also stand-offish keeping them at arms length.

It was clear that from the girls perspective although they were eager to get to know her they weren't exactly ready for a lot of affection. So both sides were tentative in how they interacted with each other while trying to convey a level of appreciation for the other. The entire display was simply ridiculous but understandable eventually they welcomed Emma into their hive mind. After what appeared like seconds the girls began smiling with tears running down their cheeks before hugging the girl closest to her before it became a group hug.

As they pulled away she turned to me taking my hand firmly and dragged back to the elevator. She locked eyes with me glaring deeply at me and for a few seconds I was perplexed before realizing that it was most likely something that the girls showed her.

"As much as love staring into your eyes Emma I won't know what is wrong unless you tell me or permit me to look in your mind myself"

Emma: We are not there yet... before this goes any further I need to be certain. You aren't the type to go out of your way to help another unless you see it benefits humanity as a whole. So why did you rescue my daughters and what are your intentions towards them?

"I won't lie and pretend that I saved them out of the kindness of my heart or that I did it for you even if I said it you wouldn't believe it"

Emma: That is because I know that it would be a lie

"The moment I laid eyes on them I saw the first step in creating a legion to take control of humanity. I instantly knew that if they received proper guidance they could be unstoppable but upon the arrival of the X-men I became disgusted with the idea as it too closely resembles Charles"

Emma: In what way as far as I know Charles is a delusional man who believes in peace and you never saw peace as an option

"In the way that I would be stealing their ability to decide to fit my ideal of the greater good. Using such justification is utterly repugnant which is why I decided to contact you instead."

Emma: So you didn't put any sexual ideas in their heads about you and them?

"I think may have confessed something entirely unrelated to what you were asking didn't I?"

Emma: Not wholly unrelated but not the direction I was going when I asked you. It seems that the girls see you as some ideal husband for them or close too it. They intended smooth out your less desirable parts themselves over time. They even invited me to join them in sculpting you into the perfect man.

This became exceedingly more dangerous than I expected as it appears my intended puppets had similar ideas to mold me. I thought that they saw me as a father figure but apparently their affection ran deeper into a far more terrifying direction. Although I do admit that the are beautiful and it was flattering... were those really my opinions or did they already start "fixing me". It was entirely possible they were already learning from M'Shen whose mind even I couldn't detect if she wanted to hide from me.

"Emma I am flattered but I really haven't made any suggestions to that line of thought. I can't deny that it is tempting but I rather not have to under go brainwashing to make it a reality"

Emma: So you do find my daughters attractive?

"It's not a hard assumption to make considering my attraction to their mother"

Emma: So it's a assumption now? Given your previous answer I think it's a bit more than a assumption

"Hard to deny when they take so much after their mother"

Emma: Well I wouldn't resort to brainwashing when I could just domesticate you

"So I'm an animal now"

Emma: There is a saying in this dimension "all men are wolves" I don't think I need to explain this to you do I?
