The Light At The End

"Congratulations Sir and Madam! He's a healthy boy!" 'ugh' as I opened my eyes once again I could see two blurry figures, one holding me and another one standing beside. 'Wait holding me?! Was I reincarnated as a baby? Oh god I have to start everything over again.' As my vision cleared, I could see everything clearly. There was equipment and armor that I couldn't recognize. Everything was so different from my previous world- I wonder what else is different from before.

These two people seem like my parents, they look outstanding! My mother has long dark brown hair that reached past her shoulders and golden eyes a shape of an almond; with a soft jawline. My father has Ash brown hair, icy blue sharp eyes, and a soft but sharp jawline.

"Look honey, he looks just like you," my mother said in excitement

"He looks beautiful, Alice." My father said with a smile

As time trickled by I found out more about this world. My mother's name is Alice, My father's name is Dominic, and they have named me August, and my last name is Peirce. Even though my name is ok, I will just think of myself as my old self, Henry.

I learned that this world used magic that was produced by an energy called mana, but in my other world it was called qi. I wanted to read and learn more about this world, but I can't even get out of my cradle without hurting myself.

I still can't control my body without pissing on and pooping on myself 'how embarrassing,' My mom had taken me out with her on her daily shopping trips for groceries, as we walked around I found out they had libraries here. I've been trying to go to the library as often as possible and by that I mean tugging at my mom's hair, sometimes I even have to make cute baby face's just so we can browse around in the library. I've also noticed that people carry around weapons and play with magic out in the open, I wonder if the past was really this terrifying.

Every time I get the chance, I look around at my surroundings and take time to study it. I think I've got a grasp of everything around me, but I still don't understand how I should awaken myself. Maybe next time I will find out.

'Aug has grown a lot since his birth, with his patch of ash brown hair and those beautiful icy blue eyes…-- I've taken him on my shopping trips and I noticed that he loves to look at the books from the libraries, he is also very interested in weapons and mana, I try to stay away and clear of those dangerous things until he grew older but he will always find a way. He is also quite clever by making those cute baby faces...ah, I wonder what kind of person he will be once he grows up.'
