1 I am now A Shinomiya
Death.
It will come for us all eventually.
Like it came for me.
I was just an ordinary 21 year old college student, getting ready to finish up my degree.
My name was Alex by the way.
My life wasn't the best, but it was a good enough. I had a few friends, a good family, and even a girlfriend.
The two of us met through our shared love of anime, manga, and light novels.
So yeah, my life wasn't horrible.
But then all of a sudden it was ended before I could even blink.
One night I was walking back to my dorm room from my girlfriends' apartment after we...climbed the stairs to 7th Heaven together.
*Ahem*
Anyhow.
I came to a crosswalk and looked both ways. Either side was clear of any vehicles whatsoever, and since was 2:00 AM I decided not to wait for the crosswalk light to come on and decided to start making why way to the other side of the street.
Then when I was about halfway across "it" appeared.
*Honk!*
Out of nowhere I heard a truck horn.
Then all of a sudden I saw lights coming towards me out of the corner of my left eye.
Turning my head I saw a red and blue semi-truck speeding down the street. On a path directly towards me.
Before I could even process what was happening the truck had reached me and then struck me. I was thrown through the air from the impact and landed hard on the ground.
Then seconds after I did so everything went pitch black.
And that's how I died.
But what I didn't know at the time, was that death was just the beginning of an even bigger adventure for me.

Opening my eyes I found myself in a completely white space.
Nothing else in any direction as far as I could see.
It was just me, and the void space around me.
"So, this is heaven huh, or is it hell?" I asked myself after some time went by.
Because if this is the afterlife and what the rest of my eternity is going to be like then I have to say, it sucks ass.
Hard.
As I contemplated this a pillar of light suddenly appeared in the all white-space.
Then a few seconds after it did so it vanished.
After it did I was not alone anymore.
There is a man, sitting in a chair with a smile on his face right in front of me. Looking at the man I immediately recognized him.
"Ryan Reynolds?" I questioned.
"Nope." He said. Popping the "p" as he did so. "While I do look like him I am not him. I simply took this form for your sake. Since if you saw my true appearance your mind would be destroyed within seconds."
"Ok." I said. "So, are you God then?" I asked him.
"That's right." He told me. "And it's your lucky day my friend. Since I am here to give you a second chance at life." He told me.
As soon as he did so I felt happy.
Since the isekai genre was one of my favorites back in my last life.
And now I get to experience it myself.
"Thank you." I told God. "Also not to complain or anything but why are you specifically giving me a second chance at life?" I asked him. "Just curious is all?"
"No problem." He said. "And to answer your question its not just you. I have given several people new lives if they died in a situation like yours. Killed by a truck." He told me.
"Oh, ok?" I said in confusion.
"You're confused I can see that. So I will explain things." God said. "Trucks are actually angels of death. They are in my employ, and their job is to kill the guilty who the get-off or are never punished for their crimes in the first place and send them straight to hell. But sometimes they end up killing innocents by mistake, like you. And when that happens I give the innocence's a second chance at life to make up for my truck-kun's mistake." He told me.
Hearing God tell me this so much started to make sense in relation to truck-kun and its power to reincarnate people.
I feel as if I truly understand how life and death works for the first time ever.
"Understood." I told God. "So then, let's get started shall we?"
"Took the words right out of my mouth." God said.
He then snapped his fingers and a giant wheel with a list of various fictional worlds appeared by my side.
When it did so I took a look at it.
Seeing several worlds I knew quite well.
Marvel Cinematic Universe
God Eater
Hunter x Hunter
Horimiya
Mass Effect
Strike The Blood
The Future Diary
Boku No Pico
Pokemon
Highschool DxD
Etc...
"Now then spin the wheel, and whatever world it lands on is the one who will get reincarnated into." God told me.
"Ok then." I said.
I then took hold of the wheel and spun it.
It then went round, and round, and round, and round...etc.
Until finally it stopped and landed on my new world.
Kaguya-sama: Love is War
Well on the list of anime worlds to get reincarnated into that's not bad at all.
Especially since I have read the manga and watched the anime.
Both are good in my opinion.
"Ok, your world has been selected. Well then good bye, good luck, and may I not see you again for a long time." God said. "One more thing the world you selected may or may not strictly follow the story it is based on." He said.
"Wait, what?" I questioned.
But God didn't answer my question.
He simply winked at me and then snapped his fingers.
The second after he did so I was engulfed in a pillar of light and sucked up into it.
On my way to my new world, and my second life.

(3rd Person: POV)
"Just a little more, keep pushing!" A man told a woman.
She is currently lying in a hospital bed, giving birth.
While the man telling her to push is the doctor working to make sure she gives birth without any issues.
"It's coming!" The woman shouted. "Aghh!!"
Screaming at the top of her lungs she gave one final push.
A baby slipping out of her and into the doctors arms after she did so.
"It's a boy." The doctor said. He then handed the baby to a nearby nurse.
Once he did so he looked at the mother, and found her still sweating.
"Ok, the first one is out. Now time for the second one." The doctor spoke.
Since the mother currently giving birth is having twins.
"Right." The woman spoke.
She then began pushing again, and five minutes later her second child entered the world.
"It's a girl." The doctor said.
Taking hold of the baby again.
Once he did so he gave it to a nurse just like with the first baby while he attended to the mother. Making sure there were no complications on her part.
There were none.
Once the doctor made sure of this he signaled to the nurses, and they brought the babies over and gave them to their mother.
"Good job mam. I'm happy to say both of your children are healthy." The doctor told the mother.
"Thank you doctor." The woman told him.
She then looked at her two children, a smile on her face. "Welcome to the world Kaguya and Tatsuya. I am sure you will do the Shinomiya name proud." The woman said to her babies.
As she did so the eyes of her son went wide.
Given that he has the soul of an adult in a child's body after all.

(MC: POV)
The moment I heard my new mother speak my name I was both happy and shocked at the same time.
Happy because I was still a boy, and God didn't try to gender swap me or anything.
Shocked, because she just called me a Shinomiya.
Not only that, but she called the girl in her other arm Kaguya.
Kaguya Shinomiya, the main female character for the entire Kaguya-sama: Love is War series.
And now it looks like she's my younger twin sister.
So I'm a Shinomiya now.
Cool.
I can definitely work with this.
