"I want you to retri-" the man stopped midway as he felt a strong and unique magic power coming from far away.
" did you feel that, Saleen," asked the man in a confirming tone
"yes sir, it might be the devils, as we are in their territory" replied the girl in a quiet voice.
"hmm, that magic did belong to the devil, but it was unique in nature, probably a reincarnated devil with a sacred gear, or we have something interesting to discover ", "Saleen, I want you to investigate the source. do you understand "
"yes, sir" replied the girl.

" Are there any orders from Kokabiel-sama?" asked Saleen
"No, but he is quite upset because Azazel-sama denied his request for war, once again" replied a man in a black suit.
"Have you found anything about the magic we detected a year ago? it reappeared some time ago, again" asked the man in an authoritative tone
"yes, it leads to the orphanage run by that old mage, sir " replied the girl in a quiet voice.
"hmm, that magic can't belong to the old man he is a human, so either is in contact with the devils, or he has been reborn as one"
"Saleen, I think we should pay him a visit, I have a feeling that we are about to find out something interesting, and also I want you to contact Redlon and ask him for the new prototype of the bracelet"
"sir don't you think it would be dangerous to contact him, He is under suspension for colluding with the chaos brigade, I think it will blow our cover"

"yes sir, I am Sayuri Jin, and you are Masao Jin. we are a couple and we are here to adopt a child " replied Saleen.
"from now on call me Masao or honey, do not call me sir," said the man in an authoritative tone.
"yes honey," said the girl with a slight blush on her face.
"wear this bracelet, It is the newest prototype that was developed by researching The Helm of Hades over a long time, it is the secret product developed by Redlon, which will help us jump rank in the chaos brigade, this is a special bracelet that will hide your magic signature and your identity as a fallen angel, making you appear as a normal human and it will also help in identify the devil's unique magic signature if we get close to him," said the man as he passed a bracelet to Saleen. the bracelet was in a design of a snake biting its tail in a circle
After the talk, the man and woman then entered the orphanage and headed state toward the headmaster's office.
After reaching in front of the door they knocked and entered. after entering the man looked towards the headmaster and said "Hello headmaster".

it has been two months since I started learning magic. and 1 month since I started training my sword. I have a considerable improvement in both, I am now confident in defeating a mid-ranking devil with just one hit from magic. and can defeat a mid-tear devil with a sword. I did not create any new abilities this month as I wanted to master my current abilities. I have been training like a maniac for the last month, mostly because I am bored, I am thinking of leaving the orphanage. more like running away, as they won't let a 5-year-old leave the orphanage. so I am looking for an opportunity.
currently, I am thinking of creating 2 abilities that will help me strengthen my body, as I can feel that my body is lagging, and won't be able to keep up with my magic, so to improve my body I created 1: Saiyan physique and 2: KI manipulation.
After creating that ability I felt an unbearable itch all over my body and I felt pain in my tailbone, it felt like something was coming out of it, after a minute the sensation vanished and I found myself with a tail at my back, the tail was brown and was willing like a monkey's tail, I didn't like that tail so, I use my [power of destruction] and [ability creation] to remove that tail, there was a burst of light for just a second. then the tail vanished, and I breathed a sigh of relief. After doing that, I checked my body, I could feel that my body was stronger than before, I could feel my muscles more defined and stronger, and I felt more control over my body, but there was something else that I noticed, that came with this body, it was a thirst for battle. I feel like going into a battle but I controlled myself and created an ability [Calm mind] to counter that thirst for battle.
I am feeling very tired because of all the magic I spent and am going to my bed for some rest when suddenly there was a knock at my room's door.
"Rey are you in there" came the voice of sister Rin.
"Yes sister, I am inside my room did you need something," I asked in a rather tired tone. as I just wanted to sleep to preserve energy and restore it.
"the headmaster is calling for you, so get ready and come out, I am waiting for you," said sister Rin as she stood guard at the door of my room.
"I am coming, sister Rin," I said as I tidied my clothes and hair dragged my tired body to my room's door, and opened it.
"let's go," said sister Rin while holding my hand and dragging me along with her
After a minute of walking, we reached the headmaster's office. their sister knocked at the door and waited for a reply. after a second a " come in "voice came and sister pushed the door open. inside the room, there were three people, one was the headmaster, and sitting opposite him were a couple as I entered, the headmaster smiled at me and said "Introduce yourself, child "
"I am Rey, I am 5 years old and I like playing a lot, nice to meet you" I smiled a fake smile and greeted them.
At this, the lady spoke "Wow, such a cute child and with such good manners, this is the one honey, we will adopt him" in a very enthusiastic voice, with a message hidden in it.
after listening to the lady the man's eyes sparkled for a second and then returned to normal, then the man said to the lady "now-now don't be so hasty honey, let's talk to the boy first and ask his opinion." then he looked towards me and said "hello Rey, I am Masao jin and this is my wife Sayuri jin, it's nice to meet you. " after that he asked me some questions and I asked him some questions. all I got to know about them is, that Masao is a job-working man who works for an organization named Raikori and has frequent transfers so he is moving from one place to another. Mrs. Sayuri is also a working woman and has a job that requires a lot of attention. both of them are permanently settling in Japan and want a family but unfortunately, Mrs. Jin can't have a child so they are here to adopt one, and they want to adopt me,
I honestly think this is an opportunity to get free from the orphanage. so I choose to go with them as both of them will be busy with their work and won't be home anyway.
Both of them were happy with my reply and said they would pick me up tomorrow. there was a celebration for me tonight, we all had a feast,
I received some gifts, a headband from sister Rin a scarf, and some new clothes from the other sisters.
on the morning of the next day, Mr & Mrs. Jin arrived at the orphanage near 8.00 am. to pick me up. after a small chat with the headmaster and finishing up the paperwork, we were ready to leave the orphanage, sister Rin came to see us off.
as we moved out of the orphanage, I turned my head and looked at the orphanage for the last time, for the foreseeable future I have no plans for returning her not even for a visit,

while walking, as we passed by a quiet alleyway, everything in front of me stopped, and people in front of me vanished, it felt like I had entered a barrier.
immediately I was on my guard, and both Mr & Mrs. Jin disappeared as well. I looked around my surroundings warily, there suddenly a spear made out of light attacked me from my left and tried to peace my heart. I was barely able to dodge it, just in time.
then the voice of Mr. Jin came from my left "Why don't you remove your disguise, I know this is not your true appearance. I sensed modification magic on your body the day I met you, your whole body was covered with demonic energy, you devil child " As he said that he looked straight into my eyes and opened his wings,
he had three pairs of pure black wings, HE WAS A FALLEN ANGEL, and a high ranking one at that. then another voice came from my right
t "You should listen to what sir said otherwise, your end won't be good " said Mrs jin holding a spear made out of light in her hand
"What do you want from me," I asked them as I got prepared for my attack at any moment.
"you see, some time ago we sensed a magic signature of a devil, the devil in question possessed a unique magic signature, it was so unique that we would have mistaken it for something else if we weren't near the place of origin, We are from chaos brigade, we are an organization lead by the ouroboros dragon Ophis, our goal is to defeat the protector of this world, the dragon of dreams The Great Red, to achieve this goal we are constantly looking for unique and strong beings and invite them to our ranks,

I made a grim face after listening to them " I think you have made a mistake, I am not a kid with no strength" I said to them as I created 12 ice spears from [ice magic] and short towards them, 6 towards the woman and 6 towards the man.
the woman speeding towards me dodged all six of my attacks by changing direction, mid-flight, she flew upwards to the sky out of the range of my attack, the man used a spear of light to neutralize my attack, and the man and woman both looked at me with strange eyes, the man looked at the woman and said
"It just got complicated, Saleena, I think it's a trap by that old Mage, How else could have the boy used magic, I think he found out about us despite our bracelet, I think the boy is just bait, just to buy time, I want you to be on the lookout, I will finish this quickly "
the man got a raged look on his face and a bit of recklessness in his moves, he created a giant light spear in his hands and charged toward me, the lady Saleena also created numerous light spears and shot them toward me,
I used my gate of Babylon and retreated a short sword from it, I got ready to face the man and his attack head-on,
as the man reached near me he trusted his spear made of light right on my face, I ducked sideways just in time to avoid the strike, I used the momentum to create some distance, and the man with anger again charged at me this time targeting my heart, this time I tried to deflect it with my sword, I swang my sword as hard as I can, toward the side of the spear, i knew that i could not defeat the man head-on by attacking him, I have to defend myself and create the perfect opportunity to defeat him,
I deflected the spear successfully and somehow managed to make the guy stumble, this was the opportunity, I thought to myself, and got ready to thrust my sword into the man, when suddenly a large spear of light nearly hit me,
I jumped a few steps and glared at the lady in the sky, the lady again created a large spear of light and shot at me, I jumped again and dodged her attack, in the time I dogged the two attacks the man regained his bearing and again charged at me with full force shouting " die you brat"
I intercepted his spear again and clashed with him multiple times, only the high-pitch sound of my sword colliding with his spear echoed with occasional sounds of explosion from the light spears thrown from above by the woman,
"sigh" I sighed to myself, as the man was again charging at me with his spear, i put up my hand and activated my skill [Child of mana] at full force,
in an instant, i used ice magic and froze the man's legs on the spot,
the man and woman both were shocked, a second ago the man was charging at the kid when suddenly his legs got frozen up to his knees, the man was stupefied for a moment, but he snapped out of it in the next movement, he broke the ice around his legs and retreated some distance away, he looked at the boy wearily and asked "What was that"
the boy sighed and looked at the man and the woman in dejection "I knew i would not be able to defeat you without my magic and my other powers, sigh, i guess the playtime is over"
I knew that I would not be able to defeat them with a sword but I just wanted to try, I have improved my swordsmanship from what I can remember from my previous life's training, but I see that it's not enough I need some real-life battle experience and a new master to teach me properly, for now, i need to finish off these fallen angels,
i again used my ice magic and froze the man's fallen angel to his neck, this time i used enough power to keep him there for some time, the fallen angel struggled but was not able to free himself,
the lady, seeing the man's situation decided that it was not worth it and started to run but she was not able to as I used gravity magic on her and increased her gravity by 10x, she was not able to maintain her flight under this pressure fell to the ground creating a crater, as I moved toward the crater I saw the women struggling to stand up under the weight of gravity, as she saw me she started to shout "Let me go, Let me go" over and over again, I froze her to her neck too, making her unable to speak, I canceled the gravity on the girl and used magic to set her next to the man,
I again used magic to unfroze just their neck making them capable of speech,
the woman when she was again able to speak shouted "Let us go you bastard" again and again, the man seeing the woman shouted "Shut up, Saleen another word from your mouth and I will kill you myself" The woman got silent after that but not before giving me a death glare, after saying that the man looked at me and asked "This was not a trap from the headmaster was it, if it was then he would be here by now, and from your actions and the look in your eyes i know you have not kept us alive from the goodness of your heart, so what do you want "
"You are right, this wasn't a trap by the headmaster, he and I really believed that you were humans and I really thought that you were here to adopt me, but i see that was not true, so I won't waste your time, give the information detail on everything you know about the supernatural world, and start with the organization if you do this i will just erase your memory and set you free"

not even ashes remained.
