It took Gu Shang ten minutes to finally realize what happened.

"System is it possible for me to know what will the upgrade do to each function."

[No.]

"Let's think about it, the clone option is probably the worst thing since it will only make the simulation easier to watch."

"Reroll and description are both good, reroll seems to be a better option since it would increase my chances of good things, but if description was upgraded, maybe it would give a proper description of items, instead of just 'A spiritual fruit'.

A strand of information was sent into Gu Shang's mind, after a minute, Gu Shang showed a slightly shocked expression.

Then he picked up a cup on the nearby table.

The new upgraded function gave him the ability to inspect things in the real world, but it wasn't the only thing brought by this upgrade, the descriptions in the later item selections would be greatly detailed.

Gu Shang was satisfied with this upgraded function, if he chose to upgrade reroll then he'd probably either get more rerolls or he would get more time for rerolling.

After getting over his satisfaction, Gu Shang started to think about other things, for example, what was the devouring characteristic and how did he already have it? And another thing he was thinking about was why did the simulation end all of a sudden?

After another ten minutes of trying to get at least one hint from the system, Gu Shang went back to tempering his body, since he couldn't get any hint for the characteristic, he might as well speedrun to the soul forming realm.
