Liam resurfaced on the stream, taking in deep breaths of air. He seemed to have stayed in the water rather than enter a different domain.

'Fuck! How long was it?' Liam thought as he lay on the stream bank. 'I hope it was the right choice; accepting that supposed future self of mine deal.'

Liam was lost in the thoughts of his decisions, judging himself for all the things he deemed wrongly executed.
