Decoration and Dao

When James got back to the cave he felt relaxed, he had no idea what he should have done in that situation. He just wanted to get back into the cave so that he could have a conversation with this man that he has been with now.

When James finally got back into the cave he noticed that the man that was here was gone. At this point James was disappointed, he was really looking forward to having a conversation with this man. Although he seemed to be very aloof and didn't seem to care about much, James felt he could finally have a normal conversation. Ever since he got into this world he hasn't had a real conversation with someone else without other goals, he just wanted a nice genuine conversation. But James had a feeling that if this was like any of the books that he read it would be very hard to have a nice genuine conversation with someone

Most of the time everyone else always has another goal in mind when they talk to someone, the cultivation world is brutal. You never know when someone is telling the truth and when someone is lying to you. Everyone always has a goal in mind when they start a conversation, if someone is stronger than you, you have to submit or they will kill you. There might be demonic cultivators that use other people to increase there cultivation. Well in the end the cultivation world is brutal, from this point on James is going to have to be careful so that he doesn't get killed.

James went over to his bed and started to cultivate, as he was cultivating he noticed that it would be nice if he decorated this place a bit because he felt that he was going to be here for a while. He used the system and he bout a variety of things so that he could make this cave nice. James bought a lot of things from carpets to put on the floor to tables and couches. In the end James spent about 4 Points to buy everything for his abode. He wanted it to be presentable so that he could have someone here if he wanted.

The carpet for the room was a nice red, It had patterns on it in some weird way, he doesn't even know how he would describe it. On the carpet there was a nice wooden table where people could have some food or do some other things, it looked like it was cut directly from a tree without any adjustments. Next to the carpet there was a nice white couch with a metal frame, it had some blankets on it with the a flowery design. There were some chairs for people to sit in here and there, It looked like a nice abode for someone to relax in, and it ended up being exactly what James wanted.(Pic in paragraph comment)

At this point James was just doing this stuff so that he could get over his boredom. He thought that it would be good if he stayed here until he got to a bit of a higher cultivation realm so that he would be able to explore and not have to worry about being caught as a turtle, so he wanted to wait until he got his human form.

Since James had the time he figured that it would be a good idea to try and understand some other Dao's so that he could gain some advantages. He figured that it would be a good idea for him to understand the water Dao since it would be incredibly useful. He could use it for many different things, it would give him a source of water to drink, he would have water to clean himself with and many other things. The uses of water were almost infinite, so he decided that it would be something that he would need.

James got himself into a comfortable position on top of the white couch that he had. Soon he started to think of the things that made up water

'Water, a substance composed of the chemical elements hydrogen and oxygen and existing in gaseous, liquid, and solid states. It is one of the most plentiful and essential of compounds. A tasteless and odorless liquid at room temperature, it has the important ability to dissolve many other substances. Indeed, the versatility of water as a solvent is essential to living organisms. Life is believed to have originated in the aqueous solutions of the world's oceans, and living organisms depend on aqueous solutions, such as blood and digestive juices, for biological processes. Water also exists on other planets and moons both within and beyond the solar system. In small quantities water appears colorless, but water actually has an intrinsic blue color caused by slight absorption of light at red wavelengths.'

'Although the molecules of water are simple in structure (H2O), the physical and chemical properties of the compound are extraordinarily complicated, and they are not typical of most substances found on Earth. For example, although the sight of ice cubes floating in a glass of ice water is commonplace, such behavior is unusual for chemical entities. For almost every other compound, the solid state is denser than the liquid state; thus, the solid would sink to the bottom of the liquid. The fact that ice floats on water is exceedingly important in the natural world, because the ice that forms on ponds and lakes in cold areas of the world acts as an insulating barrier that protects the aquatic life below. If ice were denser than liquid water, ice forming on a pond would sink, thereby exposing more water to the cold temperature. Thus, the pond would eventually freeze throughout, killing all the life-forms present.'

Then he thought about how the water is created and how it is held together through bonds.

'Hydrogen atoms in water molecules are attracted to regions of high electron density and can form weak linkages, called hydrogen bonds, with those regions. This means that the hydrogen atoms in one water molecule are attracted to the nonbonding electron pairs of the oxygen atom on an adjacent water molecule. The structure of liquid water is believed to consist of aggregates of water molecules that form and re-form continually. This short-range order, as it is called, accounts for other unusual properties of water, such as its high viscosity and surface tension.'

And lastly James wanted to understand the physical behaviour of water so that he would be able to take control of that and use it to manipulate the water however he liked.

'Water has several important physical properties. Although these properties are familiar because of the omnipresence of water, most of the physical properties of water are quite atypical. Given the low molar mass of its constituent molecules, water has unusually large values of viscosity, surface tension, heat of vaporization, and entropy of vaporization, all of which can be ascribed to the extensive hydrogen bonding interactions present in liquid water. The open structure of ice that allows for maximum hydrogen bonding explains why solid water is less dense than liquid water—a highly unusual situation among common substances.'

Finally James seemed to enter a state of enlightenment, around his body many phenomenon's started to appear. Around his body water was dancing all around as if it was happy about his existence, he seemed to be able to understand the water, and the water was able to understand him.

When James' enlightenment ended and he opened his eyes he used the powers of the new Dao that he had understood to create water out of nowhere and dance the water around his body. Although it looked like James was creating water out of nothing that wasn't the truth, as described earlier he was using the chemical composition of water to create it, he was taking the molecules from the atmosphere so that he could create water.

James was doing all sorts of tricks with the water, he was making serpent's and dragons in the air with his manipulation of water. He was using it in all kinds of ways that he would have never imagined until today, he had seen these types of things in fantasy back on earth but he could never do it himself because he thought it was fake.

James took the time to take a walk down to the end of the cave to see what time of day it was. Noticing that it was turning to night he figured that it was time that he cultivated. He liked to spend the day doing what he liked and spending the night cultivating because when he cultivated it was like he entered a sleep like state. His body would close to no energy and regen his energy at a rapid rate causing a similar phenomenon to sleeping so as long as he cultivated at night he wouldn't need to sleep. Maybe at some point he would get so strong and have such a high cultivation level that he wouldn't need sleep but for now he still needed it since he has barely stepped onto the path of cultivation. James started to cultivate and thought that tomorrow was another day, just like today he could do whatever he wanted.
