The Night of Awakening Part 2

With all the materials carefully arranged and the space meticulously prepared, Daniel initiated a ceremonial ritual of great significance. The purpose of this rite was to evoke an angelic entity from the astral plane in order to establish a layer of protection around his house. This practice had gained prominence in recent times because it was known to keep low-level dark entities at bay.

After tracing seals and sigils throughout the floor of the room, Daniel finally began the ceremony, filled with a powerful intent: to evoke the angelic energy of an entity closely connected to the virtues of protection and energy purification.

As he recited a prayer aimed at establishing a connection with the angelic entity, Daniel felt the surrounding environment cool down, as if a divine presence was hovering over him. Closing his eyes, he entered a deep meditative state, concentrating intensely on his intention to mentally connect with the celestial being.

It didn't take long for the first changes to become noticeable. The atmosphere took on a fresh tone, and a subtle energy began to manifest, creating a sense of pressure in the air, as if the cosmos itself were watching. Daniel realized that his modest ritual, although performed with consecrated materials and all the ceremonial rigor, was working. However, he knew that many of the material and spiritual aspects necessary for a complete ritual were beyond his reach at that moment.

As the minutes passed, Daniel began to glimpse flashes of light in his mind, which materialized in the form of an angelic figure, with an aura of power and benevolence. It was an entity he had worked with before.

"This is strange... Do you know me, human?" the entity, whose aura radiated strength and wisdom, communicated telepathically with Daniel, who maintained a serene but deeply respectful expression in the presence of the manifested being.

"Forgive my impertinence, Great *****. I was simply admiring your grace and power," Daniel responded, maintaining eye contact with the angelic figure whose appearance defied all conventions. Its face combined animalistic features with a human form, while numerous silver halos adorned with golden inscriptions that depicted its name circled around its body. These halos were crowned with a multitude of eyes capable of penetrating and discerning Daniel's essence.

"You are an intriguing human. It seems you haven't fully developed your mediumship, and yet you've evoked me without a grimoire in sight. It's almost as if it's natural for you. Shall I assume this is related to your planet's ascension period?" the Angel inquired with curiosity, its imposing voice resonating in the space.

"I apologize if I seemed rude, but does that truly matter?" Daniel replied with courtesy and sincerity.

"HA HA HA, you are truly intriguing, human. But indeed, it doesn't matter... So, tell me, what is the reason for your summons?" the Angel inquired.

"I need you to perform something intrinsically linked to your virtue," Daniel declared sincerely. "I know your desire, human. Are you willing to pay the price?" the Angel asked Daniel.

"Yes, I am willing to pay, as long as it is commensurate with my request for protection," Daniel replied, committing to initiate the agreement aimed at safeguarding his home from the dark influence with the Angel's energy.

"I see... How about I offer something additional to solidify our exchange and communion in a more fisical way?" suggested the Angel. The proposal left Daniel confused, as such an offer was unprecedented in his previous experience. "He wants something from me," Daniel pondered with a hint of suspicion. He was willing to show trust, but cautiously.

"I feel you possess human knowledge. How about I offer something more valuable for your protection? In return, you owe me a small favor, to be granted according to my desire," the Angel proposed to Daniel, pulling from its pockets a necklace with a symbol made of pure silver, inscriptions of an unknown character made in gold.

"Obtaining an item from an Angel...?" Daniel questioned while observing the object in the Angel's hands. "This may help establish the foundations of a new society in the fifth Aeon," proclaimed the Angel, momentarily leaving Daniel perplexed. "If it's limited to one favor, I see no issue, depending on the circumstances," Daniel reflected within himself.

"Don't worry, human. I won't ask for anything outrageous that would harm the integrity of you, your family, and friends. For your first request for energy protection for your home, the only thing you would have to do in return is to establish the foundations of this new society. The rest we can discuss later. What do you say?" The Angel attempted to ease Daniel's thoughts.

"He might be able to read my thoughts," thought Daniel, giving the Angel a discerning look, which remained motionless, awaiting a response.

"Well, if your future request isn't something unreasonable, I see no problem with it," Daniel promptly agreed, thus sealing a pact with the Angel before him, who handed over the necklace as a symbol of this agreement.

"I have high hopes for you," said the Angel, looking at Daniel, who felt the pact solidify.

"Don't worry, *****, you are free to depart," Daniel concluded the conversation respectfully, requesting the Angel to leave.

As the Angel withdrew from his mind, Daniel emerged from his state of gnosis, which he had entered through deep meditation. When he looked at his right hand, he heard the metallic sound of the necklace chain he had received from the Angel.

"Well, this is the greatest proof that all of this was real..." Daniel contemplated and immediately placed the necklace around his neck. He felt a surge of energy coursing through his body, significantly strengthening him.

Something similar happened to the house, which seemed to be enveloped by powerful energy. An invisible barrier was created, perceptible only by the energetic nature the place had acquired.

"Incredible! Who could have imagined that Angels could grant items even before the new Aeon?" Daniel exclaimed, marveling at the strengthening effects of the object on his body. He had never imagined he could obtain something beyond protection.

This event put him miles ahead of an ordinary Modern-day Illuminated. After successfully consolidating his desperate little plan, Daniel turned on the TV again, now only waiting for the long-awaited March 1st.

"All this time has passed during the ritual... Only 10 minutes left for everything to begin," Daniel reflected, feeling anxiety take hold of his mind.

He took a deep breath and tried to find mental balance, preparing to face his demons head-on. As the minutes rapidly passed, the moment came when there was only one minute left for everything to begin. With determination, he equipped himself with a basic backpack and firmly held a sharp iron knife in his right hand.

Watching the last few seconds fade away, Daniel recited his final words: "It has begun," he said when the clock read 00:00:00. An audible sound resonated through all living beings, a sound that would mark the beginning of a new era and be recorded in history as the Night of Abramelim's Awakening.
