CHAPTER 19

All of them planned to return to Chennai by that evening itself. They booked an entire compartment in the train for themselves as they were eight in number.

“It totally slipped off my mind, where is Aarav?” Ira asked her mom as they all got seated.

“He is with his grandparents. He has got travelling sickness, so we didn’t want to bring him along.” Ira’s mom replied.

“Have you got a photo of him? I would like to see, please.” Arjun asked.

“Here you go.” Ira’s step-dad said, showing Arjun a picture of Ira’s half-brother. He was an adorable and sweet little boy.

It was the perfect set of people travelling together. Ira and Kavya were giggling in the corner, the elders had become a group, discussing god knows what and Arjun, Raj and Kavin were in some serious discussion and they kept throwing occasional glances at Ira.
