1 Chapter 1

In a world full of god, devils, higher beings, and numerous races. How could two orphan boys survive, and climb their way to the top. I'll show you.

In a small time orphanage that didn't earn much money. There was a group of kids who were taken care of there. It was in a small town on earth with not much going for it. The only thing they had was a lot of crime and no love from the gods.

In this orphanage there were two boys. Both are 10 years old. They got there at the same time.

The first boy is NoTe no one knows his actual name but that's what he came with and some rags.

He is a small black kid with a scar across his left eye. He has dreads and is a little rough around the edges.

The orphanage director Lisa didn't think he would amount to much. Therefore, she was very surprised at his genius.

He was easily able to learn all the basic education they gave the children. Even in athletics he was different from everyone else.

However, he doesn't talk to anyone unless necessary. He is always with the boy Rev who he sees as his brother.

Rev came at the same time as NoTe. He is a lot bigger and taller than NoTe. Rev stood out a lot more because of his long red curly hair. That was comparable to blazing flames.

He is always talking to people and is very friendly unlike NoTe. He doesn't always do the best with his grades, but when it comes to athletics he doesn't fall behind.

The director Lisa is always trying to get him adopted. However, every time a family has came for him he refuses to leave unless NoTe is also adopted. They might not be blood related brothers but they are brothers at heart.

The two boys most likely would've stayed at the orphanage until they were 18. However that future changed when they met a man named Stitch.

I wake up to hearing sounds throughout the orphanage. I go to wake up Rev so we could hide in the usual spot.

This is normal here at the orphanage. Since we barely earn any money. The director sells us to the Pope. I have a good idea on what the pope does. However, there are times the kids don't come back.

I can see the Pope leave so I go back to sleep and Rev goes to eat some cheese crackers.

In the morning I get up with Rev and go to breakfast. It is the same thing as every Monday. Eggs with toast and sausages.

However, this time there is new lunch lady well it's a man this time. He looks like he is just some old dude though.

Vv"How long do you think we will be able to hide from the pope" Rev asks.

" As long as necessary" I say.

" Maybe we can give the cops some evidence and get the Pope and Lisa arrested" Rev responds.

" If you want to we can try but I think we should wait until we get bigger" I say back.

Rev nods his head in agreement. Me and Rev argue about who's better at American football for a while until we finish our food.

Rev goes through his usual habit of taking care of his hair while I go play video games.

" You know I've been watching behind you two boys for about half an hour and neither of you noticed me".

A low voice says from behind us. Rev and I jump up immediately getting defensive. I realize it is the old man from the lunch line. however as soon as I realize he is there he disappears.

" You guys are kinda fast for two 10 year olds must be why he sent me".

The old man says from behind us again. Who's " He?" I wonder but that isn't important right now.

" What do you want" Rev says. The old man smiles and says.

" I want the Pope gone same as you do".

How does he know about the pope I thought no one knew about him besides me and Rev.

" So why were you watching us?" I ask.

The old man smiles and says. "You two are the only kids who have been capable of escaping him. So I figured you guys should handle him yourself." The old man says.

" What make you think two 10 year olds can handle a whole church?" I say with annoyance in my voice.

" I didn't mean currently at this time I'm going to teach you guys for a while. Until you guys can take down that entire church." The old man replied.

Who does this old man think he is. He walks into our room unannounced and just tells us he is go make us take down the church.

He is making me mad. I don't like the way he's giving out orders.

" What if we don't want to go with you?" Rev says.

The old man's face gets very serious and he says. " Oh what made you two think you had a choice in it".

The old man disappeares from my sight. I turn around to look at Rev. However, Rev is already knocked out . I realize that I'm next.

I wake up in what looks like some type of abandoned factory. I wake Rev up as well and we start looking around.

I see lots of weapons guns, swords, spears, knives, and a lot I don't recognize. I see the old man start walking towards us and he says.

" I need you two to get strong as fast as possible. So whether you guys live or die here is your choice."

Rev and I don't give him a response and he continues.

" I'm going to figure out your strengths and weaknesses. Then I'm going to mold you into the assassins my benefactor needs."

I speak up " So how long are we going to stay here?"

The old man responds. " You guys are 10 I'll keep you here until you are at least 15."

"What about the other kids in the orphanage" Rev yells out.

" Those kids will just have to figure out their own way out. Until you two are strong enough to kill the pope. Oh and dont think the orphanage will save you. They sold you to me." The old man says.

" Well no more questions It's time to start your training." says the old man.

" Wait are we supposed to call you?" I ask. The old man thinks to himself for a second then says " You guys can call me stitch."
