1 The Beginning
The moment Elijah opened his eyes again he see his family eating at their work places or in their room. The idea of them being part of the family was difficult considering that they are stressed from mostly working at their jobs.
His sister is still rather reclusive and would rather be alone as they have been moved around a few times. When he went to go to sleep, he woke up to see that he wasn't at home. It looks like a garden.
He sees an average height man with modernly cut hair, thin body, and a rather calm manner.
There is also a teen around his age though rather much older, and was emotionless and rather stern.
[what is this?] The teen thought
"welcome to our world"
The old man was quite smug saying that. Any idea of where he was, but not sure exactly what he was doing here.
The old man has signaled the stern teen to move aside, Elijah didn't get to see his face but the teen disappeared. "Welcome to our realm and reality"
>[realm and reality? does that mean that this is everyone's reality?]
"Everything will make sense later on as you move forward in time, but you are in a state of being killed. To put it simply, I paused time to save those whose time is not yet at their time."
The old man has been calm this whole time and somehow he saved Elijah.
"Right I have yet to introduce myself, I am your guide. I have seen the trauma that you have gone through, for everything will be reset just before it has happened."
>[everything will be reset, why not some time before?]
"You'll have all of your questions answered with this first reset."
Everything starting disappearing and before he knew it he woke up to him drawing a detailed cat early in the morning.
>[I thought that it was going to be a little later.]
"What are you drawing?" Sarah had asked rather tired. She slowly headed over and sat down by Elijah and drank some water.
>[Of course she is curious.]
"I'm drawing a cat" he answered and didn't really think much about it.
>[I'm worried that sh-]
"What else can you do." she said sarcastically
Before he knew it, he said that he was decent at a lot of things but not the best.
Mother was heading out of the door and before she fully left, saying
"Hey, both of you should clean the house. It's dusty in my room and not focus on drawing useless things."
Dad left in a rush to get to his job in time and was about to scold them about the "mess" of the pencils.
They started cleaning up Elijah's stuff and then rearranged and cleaned up the other rooms. When they finished he started to finish the drawing from earlier to get a satisfying look to it.
The rest of the day was spent doing their individual things and eventually started making good for the family to eat for the evening.
By the time the food was finished, the leftover was packaged to be taken for lunch the next day. Mother eventually got back and started to get the food that was left out and put it into portions.
"Welcome home mom, hope you like the food"
"Thank you both for cleaning everything"
Mother eventually saw some of the drawings in Elijah's room, picked one up and
(Why did he ever have an interest in drawing? What does he get out of it?) she thought.
Although he was focusing on the drawing from earlier, he saw her looking and asked
"What do you think of them? Are they bad?"
"No, it's better than what I can do. At least much more than when I dropped the subject."
They seemed a little down and Mother had already put the drawing down and started to walked away. Elijah then suddenly starting to see swirling fog then a rather tall figure could be seen, quite a familiar one at that.
It looked like the teen from before.
He is walking forward towards Elijah.
They started to have a clearer frame and look.
They told and asked Elijah this.
"Did you ask to do this, did you agree to the contract? Why are you doing this, what is your motive?"
"Slow down a little; I didn't ask to do this, all I know is that I was about to be killed. I don't know if I even agreed to a contract but if I did I wouldn't have agreed. What else did you ask?
"Why are you doing this." he said more annoyed
"What is your motive." then he activated some scanning ability.
Elijah stayed silent. It was very much different from what he remembered in the original memories.
All that has happened before this has varied slightly but got the same response considering the knowledge that he has of the future.
The teen eventually got the answer
[No motive at all. It seemed as if he has been pulled into all this. Then why did the guide bring him here, he was never part of the original count. Unless it was purely accidental and brought him here.]
"Don't do anything different but if you, do you will end up somewhere entirely different from what you remember. All that you do will affect this timeline and everyone's memories in their next time loop."
"Hasn't everything already started to change with me going back and interacting with others?"
"Slightly, and with the longer that you stay here the more difficult it will be. That is why I need you to not change anything that you do."
For a small moment he paused and disappeared with the swirling fog.
"Elijah, were you talking to someone?"
"No Sarah, I'm just talking to myself."
The effects of being early in this time is a little taxing because they have to remember what they did as Elijah is having a headache from being here too long.
>[I hope I can be taken out of this situation.I don't want to deal with all of this again, but at least I can pass those classes with better grades and get out of those situations.]
He eventually went to sleep and appeared back at the garden. This time a different person was with him, it was rather disorienting going back and forward between things.
"Welcome back Elijah, I have some unfortunate news to say."
"Then why was I brought back here" he said with despondency
"We'll have to send you to when you die but it will be a different outcome than what you would've in the first round as you should be awake this time."
Then he started to return to the home that he remembers and fears the most as he now knows that he will be killed. All that he has done is slightly different as Mother is home currently and drawing.
It's the middle of the day as the sun is still out, he starts to draw and write down what he saw of the garden area.
A circle that's filled with different types of flowers or bushes and vines growing quite tall along with the table and a tea set with a big blue flower with leaves behind it. Some things are hazy and not quite as defined as other details.
Mother saw it and asked, "Where is this at?"
"Just something I came up with." he lied though his teeth.
Sarah was seen playing with her friends and figures. They were quite loud and noisy though that's to be expected, as they're around 14 years old.
Time passes and it's now night and something pops up on his phone. It was a warning saying
"Welcome to your death"
Elijah was immediately worried and started to stay where the others were as the friends from Sarah's friend group are having a sleepover in the living room.
It was so that he could avoid being killed for the time being. All that he has experienced is very unordinary and unorthodox as everybody would most likely not believe him and think he's crazy.
All that he knows is that there are others that know of the guide and have some sort of powers with them.
Although some time passed, they had to get some sleep. He eventually had to go back to his room with the message at the back of his mind.

Suddenly a bullet has hit his arm as they have missed the heart and immediately shot the heart and head.
Everyone heard the gunshots and one of them called the police. Once the police have arrived they checked the body and saw Elijah dead on the bed and checked the immediate area.
They don't know who does this but they say there have been incidents like this before and could never find the suspect. They disappear before the police can get there and track them.
Although Elijah was dead, he has been forcibly teleported to the garden. It seemed weird that he was, in a sense, revived. But his body felt very much odd.
He then noticed that the other person from before. They introduced themselves.
"Welcome, you've already seen me before but have yet to tell you my name. My name is Ming Yue. The guide has to deal with with things so I am in his place."
"How am I alive, why was I brought back?"
"You sure get straight to the point. To simply explain, everybody that has seen the guide and the room that they subconsciously think of as a safe place will be revived. But depending on the type of death, it's quite strenuous either mentally or physically."
"But it doesn't explain why though."
"I'm unsure as at exactly why, but it tends to happen when someone is fatally wounded or killed.
...
You should head back as any longer would mean that you would be repeatedly stuck in limbo."
He was then put back into a world that is completely different. It also looks much different, he sees that he's wearing tattered clothing. All the people that he once knew is nowhere to be seen.
Everybody is much taller and has this eerily nice look to them, as if they were predators playing with their food. All that he had known is gone, then he sees in a mirror that he's a child.
He subsequently and subconsciously found himself at the foster care facility because his family is not here. They act as if this is normal and took Elijah in and added him to the list of children without parents found.

He had only been there for awhile but had noticed people of around 16 to 5. They look like everyone else, hybrids, but hybrids of what? Some have bushy tails, others have antlers, and very very few resembled mythical creatures.
Although they look very different, they act as if it was different. Elijah was then taken to a bathroom to be cleaned up. Some of the tech was not so different but more advanced in other areas.
After he cleaned up he was being shone around the facility.
"here is the bedrooms, there's the play room, over there is the main hall...."
He was slowly drowning out what they were saying but one room stood out in particular, the garden. He started to walk to it and the person noticed.
She then said that the room is the one thing that stood out to everyone with similar circumstances like him.
>[strange, everyone that couldn't find their parents, got to the facility, and found a natural attraction to this room.]
"do you know why?" he had asked to see what others had said.
"They said they had a dream of this exact room and had this table in the middle with either a lamp with books, flowers in a vase, or other things. Though the room shows different things depending on the person."
"What about the person at the center?"
>[strange, the guide has yet to contact me and hasn't there the last time.]
"I'm unsure about that, though the idea of a person being in your imagination is possible."
They eventually went to where the others were and introduced some of them.
"There's Madison, she is often with Hana and Conan. Then over there is Sophie, she perfers to be around people but she focuses on drawing. And finally there's Delilah and Blake, they are mostly alone at times but when you get to know them, they are more open to you."
There are many more people and he thought that it was odd that there were a lot of people who got lost. He slowly headed to Sophie and got a paper for himself and started to draw a little waterfall island.
Sophie was focused on her drawing that she didn't notice until she finished. When she saw what Elijah was drawing she started to walk around to get some fresh air.
She headed back and started to draw another drawing. Delilah was reading a book and looked at what was happening and smirked because Sophie is difficult to be close to.
All of them could be seen heading to their bedrooms and Elijah was shone to his room.
>[room 106, I'll be sharing a room with someone else]
"Here's your room, your roommate is mostly out of the house during the evening as they're nocturnal."
>[I expected them to be there but they aren't here]
They're not going to be easy to find as they are almost always outside and helping the adults. The thought of being outside is difficult for Elijah since he's not familiar with this world.
In this room is simplistic but have room to have personal stuff. The bed is built into the wall and is a bunkbed.
>[huh, the bottom bed is messy and is used]
He then noticed there is the note.
"I hope you feel at home roommate, sorry I can't be there to greet you."
After seeing the note, he started to get ready to sleep. He then started to climb into the top bed and drift to sleep.
Somehow he was back at the garden. The guide is there.
"Hope you have been doing well Elijah. It has been a long time since someone had been killed in this world as they aren't as corrupted as your world."
"What do you mean corrupted?"
"It's the morality and mentality of the the people. They keep wanting to be ruled over and not deal with all the pains of independent personalities."
"I'm so that's why I'm here, because of my personality and independence."
"You're correct, that is only possible of someone is in doubt and worry."
An alarm has rung and had to wake up, it was quite unexpected considering that there wasn't really a clock there last night. And when he got up he saw someone sitting close to the bottom bunkbed.
The person seems asleep.
>[could it be my roommate? If he is, I hope he's doing well]
He quietly got down and headed to the bathroom to change. Afterwards he went to the main area and saw the some of the others doing their own things, especially since it was around 8 in the morning.
He immediately spotted a box of string and started to rummage through it and had started to make an embroidered picture to remember the places he knew.
He started to make it in rectangles and detailed most of the stuff in the room. He then noticed that the other had started to trickle into the room and other areas.
"Hey, Elijah was it, how are you?" he looked up to see Madison.
"Good, though what are you doing up this early?"
"Last I checked it was 10, also the place you're making is interesting."
>[ I guess it has been a long two hours]
"Thank you, it is a place I remember the most, my home."
>[she seems thoroughly interested in what I'm doing]
she noticed how uncomfortable he seemed about the situation.
"Well, I hope you finish so that I can see the finished product."
Around 12:00-1:00 the staff had the food ready for everyone. It became crowded and minutes passed and they went to their seats. Elijah finally put down the supplies down and went to get some for him self.
There sat the lonely boxed lunch and he went to get it. He looked around and there sat Sophie with some people, they are Blake and someone else he doesn't know.
He went over there and started to listen to them talking. They started to include him considering that he wasn't been here for much.
"Hey, Elijah, how was your first day here? I'm sure it hasn't been easy fitting in at all with all the things there are and with all the people."
Blake, the open and nice person of the group. She is part bird and part humanoid, she sometimes has to repeat what she says because it's sometimes a little difficult to understand her.
"Considering that I haven't been here for long, I can't really say what I think of this place."
The other person introduced themselves.
"since we haven't met yet, my name is Li. I hope you do well here."
"My name is Elijah, and quick question what does everyone do here, because I don't really know what to do here other than doing crafts."
"It really depends,as everyone has their own thing. There are some of us are sent to high families as servants, some become adults and live our own lives,and others, we don't know."
"hmm, that's very much different from where I'm from."
After they continued talking, everyone was called to the hallways. There were people that look like high officials as they walk past down each person.
Elijah is holding his breath not knowing what will happen and they seemed to gloss over him and look over at the others. After all that they were told to wait in the waiting room.
Time passed and they took some people and listed these people.

Near the end was his name he was shocked because He doesn't know what they do in this world. Suddenly he's pushed into a vehicle with others and slowly brought to a rather obscure building that's very large.
He remembered that he wrote a story that involved a lot of royals, commoners, children who are trained killers, and that the main character has met all of these people a few weeks earlier.
What the main character is doing is training and he's ahead of the others because he is quick about it, and he's about to meet him. He's nervous because he knows that the character is powerful and ruthless about everything.
As they pull up to the building he sees the rather familiar face. It's the teen from the earth that he remembers.
>[what is he doing here? I thought that he was just a random person, did I do this to myself?]
When they pulled up, he eventually saw his face.
>[it is the same person, dammit. Why did I write him like this, he's so full of himself.]
All the other things happened because he wrote in the book. But he didn't think that it would actually happen, it was just fiction after all. Everything that was real in his world is written over with his imagination.
He didn't want to have this happen to himself or others. It was just unfortunate that he didn't finish the end of the book.
Everyone got out of the vehicle and the teen noticed an old friend, Conan. He was giving the child shoulder to everyone else except Conan. As to be expected, Elijah wrote him that way.
All of them are shoved indoors to be fully inspected and checked before training them. After all that, they put them into their rooms and got the equipment ready.
They put all of them with groups depending on what was observed in the facility. The people are separated in four groups; The observer/learner, the listener, the obedient, and the helper.
Two others, Conan, and Elijah were put into a group. Li, Hana, Mayumi and one other were put into a group, and the others are in the helper or the obedient.
>[I don't belong here, but if I don't use the knowledge that I have, I will die in the end.]
He wouldn't have much time before he won't be as capable as he is now.
His group is then taken to a lab and told that they're going to be pushed to unlock some of their personal power. He already knows what their powers are but not his.
Once he unlocks a power, he can't change what he gets as that is based on the individual.
They are then put into a inakusar* to get their body to think that they're somewhere in the other side, then put them back into the body once the mind has activated the ability. It's really painless when taken out, but when coming back is like a strong sting for a few minutes.
Everyone else got up soon after they got back and figured out what their powers were, Elijah took longer to get up and tried to activate his.
Elijah was then tested on a little more to see what it was then.
>[I stopped time somehow, is this my powers? I hoped it be similar to that but not exactly that.]
He then got up and moved some stuff and sat back down before time continued. The staff in the room noticed and was a little confused and thought it was impossibly difficult to even get time travel.

Some of the scientists eventually put him with the others and Elijah tried to do it again but it took quite some time to activate the ability. He took the liberty of throwing a spear at the target and grabbed a sword before time resuming.
The spear landed on the target (at the middle of the bullseye and edge) everyone there heard it and saw him in a different spot. Scientists quick to taking notes of what they had just seen, they scheduled to have him practice it even more as this really valuable.
Conan then activated his ability and proceeded to punch the punching bag. It went flying and the stuffing fell out.
>[huh, it's a strength enhancement. Not unusual, but not exactly weird.]
The other two then started to practice to, one's speed, the other is an invisibility user. After practice had ended, the scientists held him in the training room and had him practice a little more to ask him who how long it took.
At this point, he began to start lying about some of the things because he had already started being able to travel to the past for a few seconds. All of them had written what he had said and let him go to the rest of the group to rest up as Elijah "didn't" improve to much.
During dinner, He sees the teen and Conan sitting together; Li, Hana, and one other person sitting by one another. He went to sit by himself and eat as he doesn't have the time to eat and talking with the others.
>[I have to focus on getting the pendant of the high family. They're the only ones that might know of the pendants mirror ability.]
He is unable to outright tell the others of his world and the story because they'll think he's mentally insane. He finished his food and headed to his room and started to write down what he remembers of the book.
>[Let's see, Kai's story started with his strict family.

They died when he was 15.
Somehow got taken to the building for his mentality and smarts...]
The time he finished, it was late into the night and with the notes, he rewinded until he reached the evening. He proceeded to put the notes in a drawer and went to sleep due to the fatigue of the time traveling and so many things happening.
When he woke up, it was daylight outside and he was late. He quickly changed and got to the rest of the group to start expanding their abilities in the inakusar.
They all got out and they slowly got to the training room as they were sore from all of the training. Eventually he went ahead an used his ability to get in front of the training room.
He went in and got to the punching bag, paused time, and proceeded to punch the hell out. Time resumed and the punching bag flew and hit a wall.
>[Why did I ever think it was a good idea to write the story, it makes no sense, I shouldn't belong here in this world. I should've never imagined this world.
All of this would have never happened if I was never targeted and killed. Could've avoided this situation if I was never involved.]
He then walked off and headed to the shooting range where he saw Kai. He shot the bullets at the center and most of the holes are near the middle and center.
He wanted to try but didn't because it would interfere directly with a protagonist and the story.
"Hey new boy, try and beat that."
"I'd try, but I'm not trained to do that at all."
"Just try, you never know if you're actually good or not if you haven't done it before." He said in a slight tone of anger.
Elijah picked a gun up and paused, quickly shot a few bullets and stopped. All of the bullets hit near the center but one straight in the center.
Kai looked at him with an impressed but suspicious look in his eyes. Elijah just walks passed him and said.
"It's gonna be difficult to beat that even if I had tried."
1.Inakusar- a chamber that scans the mental health and tears apart the mind to forcibly open an ability. It's usually used for an individual as if two people used it at the same time, they end up with similar abilities.
