83 Walking and Talking

Two days later.

"Finally! Found you!"

"Who are you both?"

"We are here for the core mission."

"Oh really? Let me see your papers... I don't mean to offend you, it is just that you are both really ragged. Are you sure you are ready for the core that is filled with entities?"

"A bunch of entities is no problem, we just spent two days just looking around trying to find the right lighthouse."

As the M.E.G. member took the folder and looked at the information, she spoke calmly, "Well I think if you spent the last few days with no lighthouse then you could have been in the recently destroyed area. It is called the blackout zone after a Wrangler destroyed the majority of the bases there."

"Don't you all have an E.M.R. as a backup?"

"Well... one of us had an E.M.R. but Katie died of disease a week before which made it so no one was completely prepared until it was too late. Over twenty comrades all died in a worst-case scenario."
