The animals come out at night

Vice drove the car out of the school's grounds, but instead of heading for the gate, made a left after they had gone far enough away from where Batalhão might be keeping an eye on them.

Figuring they were safe enough, that any incoming or outgoing comms wouldn't be picked, Ivo called to Yunmi, "Where do we park?"

"I have eyes on you, but satellite image is kind of shitty. Just go right ahead, then make a left and a right. There's an empty garage. Our people have scouted the place, it's safe. Park there, and cover the car with the tarp."

Vice followed Yunmi's instructions, and they made it to the garage without issue. Ivo didn't realise how tense he was until he climbed down from the car. His hands were like claws on the tarp when he took the other side to help Vice lower it onto the car.

"Well, that's phase one done," he said with a sigh. "You think the kids will keep their end of the deal?"
