Year 2372; 11th of May. Day 132.
[As my final message, i can't even begin to describe the joy i am feeling right now. 130 days stuck in that hell hole really made me apreciate little things in life. Today is the day we are arriving at earth, the ship is loaded with BXVN mystery mineral which will make me very rich man. Lastly... I'm going to see my daughter for very first time. Rob out]
''R-O-B. I am worried. BXVN is becoming unstable. Calculations indicate increase of 1.27% in energy fluctations, if this continues... I am afraid we have to abandon the cargo.'' Robotic voice announced from the speakers.
Rob stood up and ran to the cargo area to see what was going on. Purple hue emitted from the crates in a pulsing manner. ''What is going on, did the movement of the ship have negative effect on the minerals?'' Rob asked the A.I.
''There is small fragments of radioactive particles present in the cargo area which might be causing the cargo to become unstable.'' Voice replied.
''How long it took for the energy fluctations to increase 1.27% and how long it will take for us to return to earth?'' Rob asked while running diagnostics on close by computer.
''2 hours 24 minutes 52 seconds. We will arrive to earth in 5 hours 18 minutes 07 seconds at current speed'' Voice replied.
Rob finished the diagnostics ''Increase the speed by 50%, there is going to be some damage to the ship... But with this we are able to reach earth before cargo has a chance to explode.''.
The A.I did as Rob told it to do. Sound of metal bending and twisting begun to echo in the ship as the speed increased.
After 2 hours and 30 minutes they arrived to earth's solar system, but alarm lights were flashing in the ship and sparks were flying everywhere as the machinery broke down from the pressure.
''Contact earth and inform them about our situation, this is going to be a bumby ride.'' Rob told A.I
''R-O-B. I have lost contact to earth, every channel i'm trying to contact goes offline at a rapid rate.'' A.I expressed it worries to Rob.
''Contact anyone! Just make sure somebody knows about our situation.'' Rob yelled at the A.I.
---- Connection lost....
''R-O-B. Every single one is offline, i'm scanning trough old satellites right now and am unable to make contact trough therm. We are on our own!.'' A.I Replied.
''Cannot be helped, i'll land this piece of junk myself.'' Rob said while taking control over the ship.
Small explosions started to occur upon entering earths atmosphere.
''R-O-B. The ship is going to explode! Let me handle the landing'' A.I replied and shot Rob out of the burning ship.
''You idiot! I had it under control!'' Rob yelled as he watched the burning ship descending to earth faster then him.
He increased his speed with small thrusters in his suit to catch on to the ship. As he was trying to take hold of the entrance, explosion occured and sent him flying further away from the ship.
Now there was nothing he could do but watch the ship crashland to desert below him. He tried to activate the thrusters but explosion had damaged the suit.
''Great! I'm going to die now.'' Rob thought to himself. As he was getting closer and closer to the ground a voice inside his helmet said ''R-O-B. I failed to land the ship, activating bubbles.''.
Suddenly plastic bubbles emerged from Rob's suit to cover him from the collision to ground. As he hit the ground he bounced back up multiple times before rolling down a sandy hill against a boulder. When he was completely still, the bubbles deflated back to the suit.
Rob was bit confused before he regained his senses and could take a closer look at the situtation what just happened.
He stood up on the boulder to try see where the ship had landed but could only see sand in all directions. ''Which direction the ship is located?'' Rob asked the A.I.
''Roughly 6 miles to the east from here, but there is more... I can't get in contact with anyone.'' A.I replied.
Rob had confused look in his face ''What do you mean? There is zillion satellites orbiting the earth and you cannot get contact in single one?''.
''The last connection i had was on a satellite called Sputnik 1 but it lasted for a mere second.'' A.I replied.
Rob looked troubled. ''It can't be helped, let's go back to the ship and launch one of the mobile satellites to see if it has any effect.''.
He started to march in the direction of east until he could see smoke in the horizon and started to run towards the wreckage of the ship.
The ship was split in half and red alarm lights were flashing inside. Rob entered the hull of a ship and pulled a lever which said ''In case of emergency'' and white foam covered the whole ship distinguishing all fire.
''Damage raport?'' Rob asked the A.I
''28% of the ship was destroyed due to the explosions, cargo is still intact.'' A.I replied.
Rob grabbed a case which had mobile satellite inside, he went outside and place the metallic tube firmly on ground and pressed the button inside the case. The tube shot in the air with incredible speed and was in the orbit in no time.
''Connection has been established to the mobile satellite'' A.I replied.
''Well, what you see?'' Rob asked.
''We have definently landed on earth, but it is very different from the one we know. It'll take atleast a day before i can give you a complete analyze of the situation we are in.'' A.I replied.
''It can't be helped then, can we fix the ship with currently available materials in our disposal?'' Rob asked.
''We can fix some parts, but lack of materials prevents us from fixing it completely.'' A.I replied.
Rob started going trough wreckage to find supplies. ''Send me the details of missing materials and i try to go search what i can find.'' He replied to A.I.
''Sending it to you now.'' A.I replied.
After receiving the list of materials, Rob headed out to east.
After several hours of walking in the desert he stumbled upon a lush green oasis. He refilled the suit with water and scanned the boulders but found nothing.
Soon he heard odd screams coming behind him and he turned around to see three men riding on camels flailing slings of some sort in their hands. Rob felt threatened ''A.I can you translate what they are saying?'' Rob asked.
''Ofcourse, they are saying: Thief! Death to thiefs!.'' A.I told Rob.
''Thief? I'm not a thief!'' As rob said that the men started aproaching Rob and slung their slingshots at him with precision. Small stones were flying at Rob hitting him in the helmet.
He tried to prevent the stones from hitting his helmet, but it was no use. The men were shooting stones accurately every single time.
Rob had no choice but to try escape, as he tried to escape the men followed and threw more stones at him. This angered Rob ''Is there anything i can do to them to stop?'' he asked A.I.
''Enchance the suit to heavy lifting mode and throw stones back at them'' A.I replied.
Rob picked one stone and pushed a button which caused his body to appear muscular, he then threw the stone at one of the men which flew with incredible speed and upon hitting the man his head disapeared causing blood to gush out where his head once was. After seeing their friend die, the men quickly escaped and left Rob alone.
''What just happened? I meant to throw warning shot, not kill him!'' Rob asked A.I.
''I'm afraid the suit enchances one's strength by 100 fold, there is little chance for anyone to survive a hit like that.'' A.I replied.
Rob was devastated, he just killed a man.
''You should have a firstaid kit in your left pocket, if you give it to the man he might survive'' A.I replied.
Rob started going trough his pockets to find a small case which had a shot inside it, he went to the beheaded man and struck the shot in his thigh. The missing head started to reconstruct and soon the man opened his eyes in total panic.
He stared at Rob like he was a demon and quickly escaped from his sight.
Rob was reliefed that he did not turn out to be a killer.
He returned back to the shipwreck and go trough the cabinets. ''Where is it...'' he said out loud.
''If you are more specific what you are looking for, maybe i can help?'' A.I replied.
''The drones, i can't aimlessly wander around to try find the required materials.'' Rob replied.
Behind Rob opened a cabinet filled with 4 drones. ''Thank you!'' Rob replied and pulled one out.
He released the drone and told A.I to search for civilization or materials required to fix the ship and not to return until either thing is found.
He began to scan the images captured with mobile satellite and was in shock. The earth resembled nothing like he was used to seeing, everywhere was lush green forests and little signs of human civilization could be seen. ''This is not right...'' He thought to himself while running diagnostics on a computer.
Results shocked him even more. ''It's impossible! It is a scientific proof that traveling to the past is impossible, and yet it seems we have traveled back in time!'' Rob yelled at the computer.
He furiously tossed everything around him and went outside to look around him one more time.
''No, no, no! This is not happening!'' He shouted outside.
As he was on his knees shouting, in a distance on top of a hill was a massive creature preying on him.
