Kingdom Yarnat of the elves, home of the divine energy, especially here in Taimeria divine academy.

Elviera was walking down a long, wide corridor with many rooms at both sides, she was confidently walking while adjusting her hair.

In one of these rooms, an elf with short brown hair was holding a wide note and writing things on it while observing a strange device with a blue stone shining strongly in the middle of it, the device was on a table that was nearly its size, something not so large but also not small.

"Come on, you should work this time.", Said the elf impatiently while tapping his pen repeatedly on the note, the device started producing some sounds and some sort of engine started to work behind the device and the stone started shining more and releasing divine energy.

"Yeah yeah, keep going.", Said the elf while looking seriously at the device without even blinking, he was completely immersed.

"Come on, just like that, keep that stability, I will prove to all of them that you will be a great scientific breakthrough in the history of divine energy charging.", Said the elf seriously while looking a bit worried, the engine started moving faster and the stone shined even more.

"Just like that, keep that steady pace and don't lose your stability please, I fixed all the errors and checked everything, this should work fine this time.", Said the elf while breathing heavily before suddenly a part at the side of the device started making a strange noise that made the elf look afraid.

"What? Why does the regulator is acting weird now?", Said the elf in worry before the engine started to get violent and produce noise strongly while the stone shined stronger in a complete chaos that made the table start shaking.

"Oh no no no no no no no no, why are you acting strange now and losing stability? Oh, THE ENGINE WILL BURN LIKE THAT!", Said the elf before shouting at the end of his talk, he started pressing on a button on the device several times but nothing happened.

"COME ON, STOP NOW!", Shouted the elf in fear before BOOM!

The window of the room was opened aggressively and black smoke quickly moved out as well as the elf who looked out immediately to breath well while coughing hard.

"Hey, looks like Nigel has successfully accomplished another failing attempt.", Said one of the elves guards down on the ground while looking up at the window of the elf named Nigel.

"That boy will kill himself one day, I'm sure of it.", Said the other elf guard by his side while smiling before noticing something from far outside the academy.

"Hey, what are those things moving over there?", Asked the guard in worry.

COUGH COUGH!

Nigel was still coughing but the smoke gradually subsided, he slowly turned back to look inside his room.

"Why does it always end like that?", Asked Nigel incomprehensibly while putting his hand over his hair to adjust it but just after he turned he found Elviera waiting outside his room and smiling.

"Looks like you are busy as always, Nigel.", Said Elviera politely while smiling, Nigel looked mesmerized after seeing her and started adjusting his hair by his hands to make it look better as the explosion made it chaos.

"Elviera! I-I didn't expect to see you now, I'm very happy to see you this morning.", Said Nigel happily before starting to rub his face to remove the dirt from the smoke.

"Don't be shy from yourself because I'm here, you are a researcher and you are doing your job.", Said Elviera while walking inside the room and looking at the table containing the damaged device, Nigel looked around and noticed that the only chair is dirty.

"I'll go to get you a clean chair quickly, w-wait a moment.", Said Nigel in a quick manner before walking fast.

"No need for that, Nigel, I came here to have a quick talk with you, no need for going out to find a chair just for me.", Said Elviera seriously while looking at Nigel.

"But I can't let you standing.", Said Nigel worryingly.

"Why?", Asked Elviera.

"Because you are very important to m-, I mean i-important to us, you know that you are the best student for this year.", Said Nigel while stuttering, Elviera looked incomprehensibly at him while smiling.

"Why are you acting weird all of a sudden? We have been colleges for three years and worked together on many projects, and don't make me feel like I'm standing before a professor now, Nigel, you are my friend.", Said Elviera calmly.

"R-right, friends.", Said Nigel while smiling but there was some sort of sadness behind his words, Elviera looked back at the device.

"That thing will take some time to be ready for experimenting again, some serious damage was done.", Said Elviera while looking surprised.

"I know, I don't know what happened this time, it was supposed to work, I am starting to feel a bit worried that I won't be able to complete this project.", Said Nigel while walking beside Elviera and looking at the device.

"Come on, if there is something that makes you different than the others is that you never give up, and of course you are the smartest one in here, that's undebatable.", Said Elviera while looking at Nigel and smiling warmly.

"Thank you Elviera, if it wasn't for your support through this years I would have left this academy by now, I just hoped that the others would think of me as you do.", Said Nigel sadly while putting his hand over the broken device.
