Off With Her Arm!

I put my hand beside my ear, "yo." I greet.

She just stares at me. Man's face, check. No boobs, check. Dick, check. Ting, you have find a male.

Mei jaws jerk overloaded with questions.

As if I'm suprised her on birthday party.

But in a bad way because I don't think Mei likes seeing me here, or anywhere, or at any time time, unfortunately.

In her eyes I'm a male. And 'male' for her is those who hurt, those who torture, who abandoned big belly women, who fantasize about ruining people's lives. I can understand why she is scared of me. But again no one is the same, and you'd be disappointed to expect somebody to be what you had in your mind. If it is then everyone would kill themselves like me. It's funny anyway, what does she think I can do to her? Ravage her in front of Sohee? Though that's one erotic scene, I wouldn't have the mood to actually commit.

Damn, I think the situation is going to get worse.

The emerald eyes quiver. Mei slowly backing away, spitting Sohee out of her blanket. Her lips shaking and drooling as if her tongue has forgotten to function. As if realized it, she gulps, tearing her gaze from me to Sohee. "Why," her weak voice, "why are you doing this?"

The question strikes me rather odd. I thought she would ask what am I doing here or something along the line of my existence, but 'why are you doing this' has something dark behind it. And it's directed toward Sohee.

"Mei," Sohee jerks forward, "listen."

But she didn't. Her face is red. Her mouth is tight.

The blanket gently sways as Mei spins around. I could feel the little gust of anger. The blanket girl makes a run behind her door. I couldn't see her now. But I could hear her panting."Please," it's Mei, in lower pitch, in a tight voice, "don't see me again."

And with that she pushes the door.

"Wa-wait, Mei!"

With the sound of plastic and a can drops, a white hand intercept the door close.

Beaten human flesh sounds.

I think I have mentioned it before. Sunshine Apartment's door is probably made from a whole tree. It's too goddam heavy and thick Hercules couldn't kick it down (or the FBI, which is good for lolicon.) So when this cruel door bit Sohee's white-fleshy arm, I could feel her inner cry in my pain bone.

Her other hand tries to pull it off before the door butchered it.

I thought it was a mistake from Mei to hurt her friend.

But I was wrong.

Mei keeps pushing the door, torturing Sohee, making her whimper. Keep that up, Sohee would have only one arm tomorrow.

Whimper. If I were her I would cry out already, but I can guess why she likes to keep it quiet as possible. There's another resident around, she wouldn't want to bother anyone else. Even at times like this, you still think about other people.

But you have made a bad decision now.

I almost feel bad for her. She's trembling as if a cold kitten on the street.

Almost. I couldn't feel anything to Sohee. I never call her a friend. Never call her more than just a girl I want to enjoy with.

But maybe it's just imagination.

That I feel empty to the girl who dedicated herself to me.

I feels wrong.

But it also feels wrong to help her.

It's all right either way, Sohee's not going to die now.

As if a hidden voice tells me the best thing to do now is stay away from the girls.

Groaning and panting and sobbing fills our ears.

Maybe I should try to end this.

But before I could utter any words, Sohee blurts. "Pl--please, Mei. Li--listen."

I doubt Sohee could even hear her own voice over the pain.

Mei grumbles as if hundred demons had possessed her and she says in much hatred, "you bring a man."

Sohee put her hand on the door, trying to push it back before it could slice off her arm. "We--we've tal, talked about this."

The door trembles and it seems Sohee is winning. A hope. "You," she says, "never said it was today. Are you trying to trap me? Do you like to see me cry?"

A glimpse of the emeralds peeks beside the door. The emerald is cloudy now. Taken back in time. Remembering something she couldn't forget even if someone took her memory. Because it had been engraved in her pupils. Anyone could see it.

Sohee couldn't reply as she focused all of her energy on pushing and enduring.

Funny.

I'm still standing idle though I've been thinking about helping Sohee from losing an arm.

I could hold the door for her, spare her from the pain. I could choose to be involved more as if just being male and here are not enough meddling. If I help then I maybe would score some points from Sohee. Drops more on Mei. But maybe she doesn't need my help or my further involvement.

When I take a step forward, Sohee shakes her head. She's not looking at me but I'm hanging on to this telepathy thing now. I can tell Sohee doesn't want me to worsen this worst case scenario again. I guess, Sohee can handle it. Maybe she had seen it. Maybe this is not the first time she's getting her hand smashed.

I'm rooting fot you, Sohee. I need both of the arms from you.Or maybe I'm not the person who fated to help her this time.

Out of nowhere, a strong feminine voice echoes to us. "Holy shit, Mei!"

The hallway claps the coming of our savior.

A running sweating women who had a fair share of sun today, with a blue towel around her neck and over her purple sport wear. Whoever this women is, she has green eyes. And flat chest.

Trying.
