"You want to know something weird? People are quick to judge even before getting to know someone. They can just look across the room, see someone's skin color and be like 'Ugh, why would I want to hang out with someone like that?'.

None of that matters to me though, everyone is the same." I spoke to a man that was trying to crawl away from me, digging his nails into the concrete to get as far away from me as possible. I stepped on his leg, causing him to scream in pain as he felt his broken bone break further.

"You're all the same, after all, we're all skeletons underneath." A group of skeletons chattered their teeth behind me as if responding to my speech. The man screamed for help, though none would be able to hear him when we were in a warehouse far from any people.

"You even all scream the same, begging for mercy and help when nothing like that will save you." I stepped off of his leg, now moving towards his hand and stomping hard. I loved the way it crunched and the way he started screaming harder.

"But, no matter what, you all die the same." I pulled his head by his hair, revealing his neck to me which allowed me to place a knife to his throat and slice it. I watched as he struggled to breath, desperately trying to stem the flow of blood using his other hand that was nothing more than a stub.

The man eventually collapsed and I clapped my hands, putting a smile on my face. There was a white flame over his body that only I could see, something that would allow me to use my quirk.

"Get up." I raised my hand to the flame and spoke the words to activate my quirks effect. The flesh around the man's skeleton burst into flames, becoming ashes underneath the skeleton that was now clambering to its feet.

After successfully regaining its balance it looked to me and its flame filled eye sockets turned to me before it got down on one knee and saluted me. I smiled and pat its skull, turning my attention to the other bodies in the room. Unfortunately, they didn't have a flame over their bodies so I couldn't use my quirk on them.

"Ember, get rid of them." One of my skeletons chattered its teeth before moving forward and opening its mouth. A white ball grew in size before a stream of fire was released burning all the bodies in the warehouse to ashes.

"What's your quirk, you never got the chance to use it before you died." I turned back to the new skeleton as Ember did his job. The skeleton held out his hand and between his fingers sparks of electricity danced.

I smiled, this would be a handy quirk. If I could sneak up behind someone then he could taze the person and stun him for me. Then I could finish the job and hopefully get a new pawn. "You name will be Tazer from now on."

The skeleton chattered its teeth in what I would assume to be excitement. I just smiled at my skeletons excitement before turning to the rest of them. There was a group of three skeletons behind me, not including Ember.

Their names were Shade, Falcon and Tech. Shade was able to store things in his shadow, including other skeletons. So far, we hadn't found any limit, so I assumed that it was a limitless storage.

Falcon was able to fly using his quirk, before he became a skeleton he had wings but after becoming a skeleton he lost them so I'm not sure how that works but it does.

Tech is a skeleton that is able to disrupt most electronics in an area. Cameras will turn to static, microphones will emit screeching noises and phones will die. He is also a proficient coder for when I need things like that.

There was another skeleton though that was unlike the others. He was my first skeleton partner, the one that started me on this path. His name is Buddy, and he is a dog. He's actually my dog. When I was living with my parents they got me a dog, but he was killed in an accident.

That accident was when I found out what my quirk was. He had the same flame over his body, but the other people that were hurt in the accident didn't. I ended up activating my quirk and he became my first skeleton.

My parents also died in that accident, but I couldn't care less about them. They were crappy parents, trying to figure out my quirk, but when they couldn't they started beating me for thinking I was quirkless.

That was also the time when I found out I really liked death. Looking at the bodies of the other people around me put a smile on my face. The heroes and everyone thought I was in shock, too confused about what was happening, but I wasn't.

I eventually found myself on the streets with just me and Buddy, wandering around and trying to find food.

And that's how I found myself here! Well, I missed out on a few details, but that's the gist of it. Struggled for food, was attacked by other people, killed them, added them to my collection of skeletons, and eventually started hunting bad people.

I guess you could say that I was a vigilante at this point, but if I was I couldn't care less. I just wanted to see more death but I had a moral compass so I wasn't going to just attack random people.

Well, enough about that, I should get going before any patrolling heroes show up. Even though this area isn't massively inhabited, the heroes are still required to patrol it to look out for any dangerous activities. Although I guess they were doing a poor job with an entire gang down here.

"Shade, let's go." Shade activated his quirk, increasing the size of his shadow to swallow up the skeletons before it returned to normal. Shade was the only skeleton that was out now, also being clothed in a hoodie and jeans to cover his skeletal form.

He also wore sunglasses and a mask, just to make sure people didn't realize that he was in fact, just a skeleton. This day and age, people could look like anything, but they would start freaking out if they saw a skeleton with no organs walking around.

Well, they would probably freak out if they did see a skeleton with organs, now that I think about it. Actually, people would freak out if they just saw something different. Whatever, I'm getting off topic.

Shade followed me out of the building, walking next to me like we were buddies. I ended up walking to the alley that I call home at the moment, moving a box that was in the way of my sleeping area. To remain hidden Shade jumped into the dumpster, this one was stolen from a store so no one would interact with it.

I eventually fell asleep, letting my exhaustion from taking down that gang whisk me off to dream land. It wasn't until early morning when I woke up, noticing that there was a man standing in front of me with a cigarette in his mouth puffing smoke.

I didn't bother moving, if he wanted to kill me he would've done it while I was asleep, unless he's a fool. This man wanted to talk, so I guess I should talk.

"Shade, get out here and bring a couple chairs and a table." I stood up and stretched, letting my skeleton out into view to activate his quirk. Rising from his shadow was a small table that one might find at a bar and two bar stools.

"I gotta say, I'm impressed." The man took his seat and I took mine. "You have quite the reputation in the underworld, the person who's going around and killing off gangs like it's fun. People are getting scared, and they want to know who you are."

"I'm just a guy who likes death. Now, tell my why you're here." I had Shade bring out some food from his shadow and place it on the table as well. It was just cereal, nothing that was too fancy.

"It took me a while to find you, but I have a job that you may be interested in. You say you like death, so how would you like to help in the death of the symbol of peace?" The man took a long breath of his cigarette as he waited for my answer.

I just continued eating my bowl of cereal, it didn't have milk though so it was pretty crunchy and loud. When it was finally finished I tossed the bowl away and Shade spread his shadow to catch it.

"I'm in, tell me when and where."
