At Jawbridge University

It was the middle of July whilst June was unpacking that she saw it. The sky was changing colours going from red to blue to a mix of orange and others then she felt it. A massive shock wave hit her throwing her across the dorm room and knocking over everything with her. It felt like something bigger than a nuclear bomb just hit Earth.

Groaning, June slowly got to her feet and walked over to the window, the disorientation allowing her to see doubles, but that soon cleared. Outside the sky was red-orange and black, trees and light poles bent as if a hurricane had just passed through. Backing away from the window, June took a minute to collect herself when a blue hologram suddenly appeared.

"Ahh!" June screamed as the sudden appearance startled her. "What the hell is that?" She examined the hologram and it read:

"Hello humans of Earth. Welcome to your new life. For those who survived the mana initialisation and have awoken, I wish you luck.

Bing! Another screen appeared soon after the first one disappeared, leaving a slight ringing in her head. It said, 'The tutorial has now begun, and as good will and the hope that your suffering will make me happy, I will leave you with some tips'.

Bing! Another screen. 'Saying/Thinking Status will show a screen with your current stats and abilities. Monsters will appear in 10 minutes. in one minute you will have to choose a card that contains your future class. Choose quickly and wisely, for who knows if there will be a next time.'

With a sigh, June fell to the floor, leaning on her bed. "Well shit, I never thought my black ass would get caught up in some white ass shit. At least I've read enough manga and fantasy books to get by....I really hope it's like the books."
