Chapter 26: Start of something new

I woke up early next morning to go to the Headmasters office to go on the dueling competition.

I have to be completely honest, I don't expect much from the competition. I mean as far as I know, I am at the level of the Professors.

I entered the room to only see Dumbledore there.

"Ah, Shawn, you are here, I invited you early to ask you somethings." Dumbledore said with his grandfatherly smile. The smile creeps me out sometimes.

"What is it headmaster."

"Well, I know I have said I wanted you to compete in the competition, but I am wondering, if you would be willing to compete in the 5th years section?"

Now this sort of got my attention. But I had a few questions. "Headmaster is it alright if I compete in the adults competition if there is one?"

Dumbledore laughed a little and said," I know you are eager Shawn, but to compete in anything above the 5th years section, you will need to at least finish your O.W.Ls, and to compete in the adults section you need to complete you N.E.W.T and to compete in the professional level, you need to at the very least complete a Masters in either, Transfiguration, Charms or Defense Against The Dark Arts. I am afraid you either compete with the 5th years, or the first years, you have no other options. Maybe next year, after finishing your Master, and if Professor Flitwick thinks your ready."

Well this is a no brainer. "I will compete with the 5th years Headmaster."

"Wonderful, now I have been meaning to ask, may I see the Phoenix you said you would bring."

I nodded, and thought of Helia. Due to our bond whenever I thought of her, she could flame in.

And just as I thought of her she came flaming in onto my shoulder.

She rubbed her cheek against me and chirped adorably, "You called papa?"

I knew why she was acting so cutely so I took out some one the sea worms that she likes so much and she immediately flew to my palm and started to eat them.

"Yes Helia, Headmaster Dumbledore wanted to see you." I said to the Phoenix who was eating the worms really quickly.

She just nodded as she ate.

Fawkes, I think smelling the worms, came over to me and looked at me with pleading eyes.

I took some out for him as well.

"By the way Headmaster Fawkes told me to tell you that he wants you to only buy sea worms."

"I will do so form the future my friend," Dumbledore said to Fawkes who chirped happily.

Dumbledore then took some of the seaworms, kept it on this palm. As soon as Helia finished eating those on my palm, she immediately jumped to Dumbledore's palm. She didn't even know she fell into his trap.

I need to teach this stupid bird to not be so trusting. She will probably help the enemies if they give her some worms.

"By the way Shawn, how was your family able to get the blue Phoenix's from the abandoned forest? I thought they were all killed." Dumbledore asked.

I was shocked. The abandoned forest. That place was one of the scariest places of the wizarding world were no one dares to enter, it is known to be filled with death and scary creatures. It was not known when or where the forest appeared from, but it came 200 years ago. I know about it, due to reading about it in my house Library. I might have to go there when I get stronger. I don't know why but it draws me there.

"I didn't know Helia was from there Headmaster, if I may ask, do you think that her family still can be out there?"

"I don't know Shawn it depends. There might be more Phoenix's there, after all, I found Fawkes there as well." Dumbledore said.

We chatted for a while about the forest. I made a mental note to myself to go to the forest in the future. Soon after, Harry, Hermoine and Professor Flitwick came in.

"Wonderful, now that we are all here, I have to ask once more, are you all sure you want to go, you might get injured if you do go there." Dumbledore asked seriously.

"We are sure Professor," Said Harry.

( Just incase anyone is confused, MC will be competing with 5th years, and in the group competition of the first years)

"Well then I hope you guys have everything packed because we are leaving for New-York today." Professor Flitwick said happily.

"Right now?! I thought we will have more time?" Shouted Hermoine. After realizing what she did she calmed down and meekly mumbled, "Sorry."

"It's alright Miss. Granger you were just exited, and you can go and get ready and pack now, then we will leave." Dumbledore said.

After we all got ready, we used the Floor Network in Dumbledore's office to go the ministry, where form there we used a Port-Key and travelled to New-York.

I am really excited, why? Because New-York is where the Suits cast operate and I can finally meet them.

When we reached New-York I went to Dumbledore, who was about to leave soon, and asked," Headmaster, I have some business I would like to do in New-York, is it fine if I take care of that and go for the Dueling competition?"

Dumbledore frowned a little and said," Shawn, I think you are underestimating the competition too much. If you do not train with Flitwick you might not be able to win." And I could see Flitwick nodding from the side.

"It is not that I will not train with Professor Flitwick, it's just that I would like to train while taking care of some of my business as well Headmaster."

"Well if you think you will be fine, go ahead, I am sure you can take care of yourself, but constantly report to Flitwick and attend the training everyday, if you miss a single day, you won't be allowed to do your business anymore." Dumbledore said.

"We will be staying in the Romping Shack, this is the address," He said after handing me a paper.

I nodded and said," I will be staying in the Lotte New York Palace Professor, and I will update you regularly."

And with that we went our separate ways.

Now, I have big plans.

Firstly, I need to become an on the Books citizen in London which shouldn't be too hard with contacting a few people.

Secondly, I need to continue to mass produce Magi-Phones for the general pubic.

Thirdly, I need to finish PHD's in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Math and Tech related subjects. I also need to be certified and finish medicine, which is going to be SUPER tough for the world to accept, a 12 year-old doctor, but a little bit of Magic and a little bit of world shattering thesis papers should convince them.

Fourthly, I need to learn professional dueling rules properly.

Fifthly, I need to meet the suits cast.

And from what I think, lastly, I need to get the first place in this competition.

Sigh, this is going to be a LONG 3 months.

Competition is on the May 1st, current date, December 26th. I have 95 days till the competition.
