father's dilemma

echoed in both the houses of Vina and Deep where as the voice belonged to their fathers who subconsciously stood up from their seats with surprise and shock flashing from their eyes and faces showing utter disbelief looking at their wife's face trying to find if it was true while hoping at the same time that what they heard might be a joke after listening to their wives decision and opinion at the same time trying to check whether it's April first and their wives are making a fool out of themselves

in the end they both did a thing in classic manner..... that is.... pinching themselves if it was a dream

if both pairs were at the same place one could say this two friends have alike mind as their behaviour and reaction are so similar and it would have been a good play for their partners

in Deep's home

"Parvati do you think this is reasonable enough and possible"

"why not? "

Prasanth was speechless at his wife's reply

before continuing Prasanth took a deep breath and after calming down a little he sat on the sofa where he was seated earlier

"Parvati don't you think we should consider our son's opinion before deciding atleast after what his reaction was after we forced his engagement.. hmm"

Parvati thought for a second considering her husband's point of view then made a decision

" Prasanth you are right I think we should first wait for Deep to come home then we will have to have a discussion... "

Prasanth slightly relieved at his wife's understanding and soon it dawned onto him that his wife won't back on her word and he has to face a tsunami after his son heard this

".... but I can only compromise on postponing their marriage from end of this month to this weekend"

after hearing this, Prasanth's face drained of blood and he couldn't think what has gotten into his wife's brain and he was sure she won't compromise more than this

he sighed and said

"Parvati,...I need fresh air....i will be out for a while"

' I knew it...if I behave like I am not backing down Prasanth could not find ways to convince me and he loves me soooo much that he can't give me any hard time and now he won't have a choice apart from following my plan heheh heh'

after Prasanth left Marina who stayed at home and left as an invisible entity at home finally found her voice

" Mom, don't you think you are going overboard and interfering way too much in Deep and Vina's relationship "

"then do you think I should wait till they both willingly get married and after their relationship gets stable only then I should think about my grandchildren calling me grandma after I am buried under the ground which may or may not come true"

Marina wanted to open her mouth but couldn't say a thing where as she couldn't refute herbut couldn't help but say

" Mom, I agree with your reasoning but I don't think we can force them all the time when their relationship is involved if we do may be it would backfre"

Parvati sight

"yes, that's why I am doing all these so that we don't need to worry about then in future, now you go to your room you can take rest today"

Marina wanted to ask something but before that she has to leave upon her mother's word

'Marina I know you want your brother and friend to be like normal couple but we don't have enough time to wait for things to turn out as you wish'

in Vina's home

"Vanitha do you what you are doing, you know very well how Vina is...and you are still doing things as you wish"

Vanitha didn't refute ....just sighed

and said

" Vivek I know what you want me to understand and... I promise I know and understand it well but still I want my daughter to be happy, so, I want to do this"

Vivek didn't say much but Vanitha knew what's going on in his mind looking at her husband's distressed look she wanted to let her husband know her reason

" Vivek I know you are worried about Vina but trust me we will not let her suffer any difficulties, you must be thinking that Parvati might have raised the topic and I just agreed because I will just agree to whatever she says but Vivek you should not forget this matter concerns my daughter's future and I know well that I cannot be careless...."

Vivek didn't disturb Vanitha and let her continue

"..... sigh.. Vivek you know how stubborn Vina is since her childhood and as she grew up one by one how she didn't let us take care of her needs, by having that kind of habit do you think a girl didn't even let them take care of her would wait of a husband, and we can't waste our time on this compared to the important one"

Vanitha hinted on something that made Vivek's mood sad and helpless

" Vivek I don't want to upset you but this is the truth that we have to face it only after making Vina fall for Deep can we actually worry less "

Vivek understood his daughter well so he didn't say much

" so what do you want me to do?"

"let's just go with the flow and help Parvati in getting our children be together"

Vanitha's mind was blank when she said this Vivek tapped his finger on her head and said

"aright as you wish but first we need to let her know about this and convince her to get married only then can we go on with this arrangement"

at this time both Deep and Vina received a call each from their parents to return to their respective homes without working overtime
