Chapter 38: Eisenwald (II)

The members of the Eisenwald guild were unsure how to respond to Natsu's declaration. They just stared at him like idiots.

Natsu tied up Erigor using rope and put magic-restraining handcuffs on his hands.

'This scythe looks expensive. I can sell it for some good money.' Natsu thought inwardly. He took Erigor's scythe for himself and put it in his inventory.

Then, he faced the remaining members of the guild and raised his magic level while speaking in an arrogant manner. "This is a robbery! Men on the left, women on the right, and if you're neither then stand in the middle. Give me all your valuables or get ready to be roasted by my flames."

Natsu conjured up some of his fire, raising the temperature inside the guild by few degrees. Everyone felt cold sweat dripping down their back, watching this and subconsciously stepped back a little. They gulped nervously and nodded their heads like scared chickens.

Everyone was sure that the guy in front of them was even more powerful than their boss due to the pressure he gave off. They diligently followed his instructions and lined-up properly. The men stood on the left, whereas there were only a few women who stood on the right. There was a fatso in the middle looking at him nervously with some excitement hidden beneath his eyes.

'That guy… Okay, I didn't see that coming.' Natsu thought, desperately trying to forget about the fatso. He didn't want to think about such a disgusting thing if possible.

But nothing is ever peaceful. There is always someone who's retarded enough, doesn't understand the situation and decides to act inappropriately.

A burly guy stood in front of Natsu and shouted loudly, trying to gain everyone's attention. "Guys! Don't listen to him. He's just a single person! If we all surround him and attack together, then we'll win for sure! Besides, if he was so sure of defeating us, then why'd he need to attack our boss so despicably?! He's just trying to show-off in front of us! Let's all attack him together and avenge Erigor-sama!"

Everyone realized his point but were too afraid to make a move. They had at least some brain cells left, so they didn't want to get roasted later due to their mistake.

The guy was sweating a little seeing that nobody stood up for him and tried to rally more support shouting out loud. "What are you guys waiting for?! If you don't fight him now, then you'll get punished later! Erigor-sama will probably kill us all if we let him go without doing anything to stop him!"

Everyone became nervous when they realized this. They were pretty scared of Erigor and didn't want to receive his painful punishment. All of them quickly got into fighting position.

'That's right! If he was so strong, then why did he need to sneak attack our boss? He must be trying to show-off!' Inwardly thought every member of the Eisenwald guild.

All of them were getting ready to fight when a scorching fireball headed toward the burly guy who instigated the rally.

*BOOM*

The fireball exploded, engulfing the man in crimson flames, roasting him alive.

"ARGH!!! IT'S SO PAINFUL. PLEASE REMOVE THE FIRE! SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!" The burly man painfully shouted while rolling on the ground. All the other members stopped their rebellious intention immediately afterwards, fearful of ending up just like him.

After some time, Natsu removed his flames, revealing the black hunk of scorched flesh that lay underneath. He was still alive, barely, but he was heavily traumatized.

"Is there anyone else that needs roasting? Please come in front of me if you don't want to follow my orders. I'll heat you up nice and warm. Would you prefer rare, medium or well-done?" Natsu asked with a sickening smile, sending chills down the spines of everyone present. He looked just like a demon from the deepest depths of hell with that smile.

"N-No! We will follow your instructions! All of us were just going to beat that guy for his insolence. Please spare our lives, oh, great wizard! We will agree to do as you wish!" Said everyone while prostrating in front of him. They didn't want to die for offending this demon in front of them.

"Hmmm… Sure! But, as a punishment for your earlier actions, you will need to squat down like a rooster. You know, by squatting and then looping your arms behind the knees and firmly holding your ears. Everyone line up and give me all your valuables one by one, then squat like a rooster in the corner." Natsu spoke with an evil grin, giving everyone the jitters.

Nobody wanted to be in such a shameful position, but they had no other choice. They didn't want to die for disobeying this demon, and they didn't have any confidence in taking him down.

So, all of the Eisenwald guild members lined up and begrudgingly handed Natsu all their wealth, including their savings. They also handed him everything in the guild's treasury. Natsu was elated afterwards and rapidly stored all the accumulated wealth inside his inventory.

In total, Natsu robbed about ten million jewels in cash and about five million worth in jewellery.

Then, he gestured for them to squat down like roosters. All of them had to act like a rooster. Natsu didn't even spare the female wizards. If he did that, then it wouldn't follow the notion of gender equality, would it? He's a modern guy, so he wants to establish gender equality in everything the does. He won't allow any gender discrimination happening on his watch.

Natsu looked at the group of dark mages, acting like roosters with a satisfied expression. All of them had their ass held higher than their heads, causing a devious smirk to make its way onto Natsu's face.

"Now that's what I call a fine sight! All that shit went straight to your heads, hahaha…" Natsu teased while laughing out loud. The guild members were filled with embarrassment hearing his loud laugh, opting to just stare at the floor in silent shame.

People started gathering around Natsu, hearing his loud laughter. They were pretty surprised to find the bizarre sight of a group of people squatting down like roosters. They started laughing along after seeing such a splendid sight, making the already embarrassed roosters even more red-faced.

"Onii-san! Why are these adults acting like roosters?" A cute little girl asked while looking at the shameful group of adults.

"My little miss, these are stupid adults. They were mimicking a rooster due to their stupidity. They didn't do their homework in their childhood; thus, they became idiots like this when they grew up. So you should always remember to study hard and become a smart girl. Don't become a rooster like them, alright?" Natsu gently answered while patting her hair, making her feel comfortable.

"Okay, onii-san! I will study hard and become a smart girl. I don't want to be a rooster like them when I grow up. It's so embarrassing, hehe..." The girl said before cutely laughing. She ran to her parents before enthusiastically waving back at him. Natsu just smiled in return, watching this.

Afterwards, Natsu handcuffed all the Eisenwald guild members while they continued to act like roosters, and asked someone nearby to call for the Rune-Knights.

Soon after, the Rune-Knights arrived and arrested the Eisenwald guild members, ending their shameful display. Erza and Gray also arrived with a tied up Kageyama. They were quite surprised to see Natsu single-handedly defeating the Eisenwald guild, but they were even more surprised to see them getting punished and humiliated in public.

(A/N: Ugh... I wrote this on paper first, then typed it on pc. IDK why but sometimes I just can't get anything into my head without writing it on paper. Sigh... what a waste of time!)
