A fresh start..

I could feel my lungs, ready to burst in my chest. When my legs gave out, I started to cry. 'Please God, please." I plead, broken, alone and helpless in the middle of the street.

When I finally caught my breath, I was relieved? Yes, relieved. Realizing I could not pick up and leave, but that I could indeed have a fresh start. I can start over exactly where I'm at, and so can you.

What kind of behavior will you tolerate? Any person(s) who is not supporting your goals, picking apart your plans, get rid of them. It doesn't matter if someone gave birth to you, has been your best friend since grade school, etc. If these people don't encourage and support you to follow your dreams, they're in the way. Now I know what your thinking, "what will I do without them?" Well, be careful, you might find out.

As a child I watched my family doubt themselves, and doubt me, which helped contribute to the most important doubter I have to fight off every day, myself. The amount of opportunities I have missed or passed up due to that monster of doubt fed by the people who raised me, is my new reason for waking up in the morning. No longer will I be the self doubting, negative, sad person I was before.

I decided when I made these necessary cuts and decided I wanted to be the best version of myself, that I will live every waking moment I have left to the fullest. I personally didn't decide to be born, so what am I doing here? My new found purpose is to make the absolute best of the life I have left here, while positively contributing to the few people that continue to support and love me, even on my down days.

Ultimately, its up to you. When will you decide to start your new life, and what will you do with it. You don't necessarily need to get a new place, or a new group of people in your life. Your fresh start, begins when your ready. No limits on locations or time. If you have a pulse, your time is now. Are you ready?
