Chapter 77: Alchemy

Tia thought this was a fantastic idea and said, "Does this mean we can design trials for them to participate in? I want to help."

Yukari thanked Tia for her assistance, "Sure, if you have some unwanted trash treasure. You can include it in the trial because you can always take it back it when we get the chakra fruit from Yumi."

Everyone fell silent when Yukari mentioned Yumi's name. Yukari couldn't help but mutter softly, "I miss her already."

Tia couldn't help but cry and said, "Me too, she makes everything so much brighter."

Su Yang became emotional because she found Yumi smile contagious. "Yumi is strong, and she is waiting on you to help her, Yukari."

Yukari nodded, almost having a way to separate Yumi from the God tree. Yukari decided to move on because she was going to see her daughter the next day.

"Do you know Alcehmy, Su Yang?" Yukari inquired curiously.

Su Yang cheerfully responded, "I actually do, I might not be the best, but I didn't want to rely on the sect to much, so I created my own pills."

Yukari was relieved that Su Yang understood alchemy; Yukari was always on the lookout for new information. "Will you teach me?" Yukari enquired. Su Yang replied, "With pleasure."

Yukari inquired about alchemy because she wanted to make a pill that would help her create a crazed army of destruction. She realized this world has a species known as monsters. They are golbins, orcs, trolls, and so on.

Yukari wanted to improve their strength while also making them mindless so that their only goal was destruction and to serve Yukari's orders. She knew alcehmy would be the key.

Yukari then expressed her thoughts to Su Yang. Su Yang deliberated carefully, "I believe demonic cultivators used pills. It increases their strength but decreases their sanity. We can work together to find a solution."

Yukari thanked her because this was another way for the people to gain strength. People come together in times of difficulty and disaster, but they also strive for greater strength.

While Tia's mind wandered to other matters, she raised an important question. "What about the two Gods?"

Yukari, who had not given them much thought, admitted, "I'm not sure. It seems they are content to remain hidden within their pocket dimensions."

Yukari could have easily eliminated them, but she found the prospect boring and decided to let them plot for the time being. "It seems they are planning to strengthen their followers, so this is beneficial for us."

Tia's curiosity piqued, and she mused, "I suppose we will eventually have to fight them." Su Yang agreed, as her desire to test her growing strength fueled her.

The following day, Yukari descended from her castle to reach the God Tree. She approached Seraphina and inquired, "Did anyone visit the God Tree?" Realizing she couldn't speak, Yukari then heard a raspy voice respond, "Yes, some bothersome beings attempted to cross the ocean." Seraphina pointed towards the skeletons floating over the crimson sea.

Excitedly, Yukari exclaimed, "I knew it! You can understand me!" She realized she wasn't imagining things and that Seraphina did possess a soul.

Yukari approached Seraphina, her body exuding an aura of blood. She gently lifted her veil, revealing Seraphina's slitted mouth with sharp fangs, a sight that would unsettle anyone. Yukari reflected, "It seems I infused yin-yang energy while creating you."

Yukari pondered the situation, realizing it was beneficial for Seraphina to have consciousness. She asked, "Are you unhappy with the way I made you?"

Seraphina responded, "No, Master, you created me perfectly." Yukari couldn't help but smile, appreciating how appealing Seraphina looked with her veil.

"Thank you, Master," Seraphina replied, conveying genuine emotion. Yukari then proceeded towards the God Tree and instructed, "Continue to protect Yumi. In the future, I will assign you more tasks."

Seraphina confirmed her understanding with a "yes" as Yukari arrived by the God tree.

Placing her hand on the God Tree, Yukari infused it with her chakra and called out, "Hey, Yumi." In a cheerful tone, Yumi exclaimed, "Mommy!" Yukari felt relieved that her daughter wasn't feeling sad and commented, "You must be really bored, Yumi."

In that moment, Yukari's thoughts drifted to Seraphina and how she had developed consciousness through the utilization of yin-yang release. Since harvesting the last planet, Yukari had been searching for a way to separate Yumi's soul from the God Tree using the same method. Seraphina served as a perfect example, affirming Yukari's belief that she could accomplish the task.

"Yumi, I just need a year or less to separate you from the God Tree," Yukari explained, longing to have Yumi by her side.

"I understand, Mommy. I'll patiently wait for you. I believe you can do anything."

Yukari chuckled Yumi was exactly like her when it came to her adortion of her mother as well. "Thank you, Yumi."

Yukari spent an hour talking with her daughter, enjoying their precious time together. Suddenly, her senses alerted her to the presence of someone approaching. She activated her Byakugan and observed two individuals on a boat crossing the crimson ocean.

Recognizing them as greedy adventurers seeking riches, Yukari let out a chuckle. Tia had already collected all the treasures in the crimson ocean, so these individuals were merely disrupting her time with her daughter.

Initially, Yukari contemplated killing them with her powerful ash-killing bone technique. However, a pang of hesitation struck her. Ever since leaving her home planet, she has been experiencing newfound emotions.

Although she knew these individuals would eventually perish under the influence of the God Tree. Seeing that it was a couple, she instead flicked her finger and created a portal, sending them back to their home.
