51 Chapter 51: Small Annoyances

Yukari, fueled by anger and disgust, unleashed her wrath upon the lackeys. With a burst of chakra, she sent forth her lethal Ash-killing bones, striking the lackeys directly in front of Feng Chen. At the same time, Tiamat let out a fearsome roar that echoed throughout the city, causing weaker individuals to kneel in submission under her overwhelming presence.

The power behind Tiamat's roar was so immense that some people felt internal damage, writhing in pain as they struggled to remain standing. Amidst the chaos, Yukari observed with satisfaction as her bone projectiles connected with the lackeys, initially mistaken as a weak attack.

Their laughter quickly turned to shock and horror as their bodies disintegrated into ash, crumbling under the force of her assault. "No! Young master, help us!" the lackeys cried out, their desperate pleas falling on deaf ears.

"You dare kill my subordinates and Soaring Heaven Sect disciples!" Feng Chen screamed, enraged by these country bumpkins. He drew a sword from a storage ring, and his remaining subordinates followed suit. They all surrounded Yukari and her group.

Yukari didn't care anymore; she just wanted the Otsutsuki duo to appear soon. She ascended into the air, and a slew of portals opened behind her. Countless elements were shot out of these portals, including fire and ice.

The road around them was completely destroyed, with enormous potholes and debris scattered everywhere. Bodies were strewn across the asphalt, and the stench of blood and death hung thick in the air.

"I see. You are nothing more than a fucking vessel, and you think you can oppose me?" Yukari stated, her Byakugen flaring open. Feng Chen was terrified because his identity had been revealed and all of his subordinates had been killed.

Yukari stepped in front of him and materialized a sword made of chakra. She shot the sword at an incomprehensible speed into the eyes of Feng Chen. However, Yukari's sword, aimed at Feng Chen's eyes, was abruptly halted by the appearance of a mysterious woman.

She moved swiftly and gracefully, her determined gaze locking with Yukari's surprised expression. In a calm but firm voice, she spoke, putting an end to the escalating violence."This violence must end now," the woman declared, her words carrying a sense of authority.

Yukari, fueled by her frustration and desire to quickly deal with Feng Chen, scoffed at the woman's intervention. "Another mortal appears," she retorted, annoyance lacing her voice. "Tch, another human with pitiful strength to oppose me."

Undeterred by Yukari's taunts, the mysterious woman remained composed, undaunted by the intimidating presence before her. She reiterated her purpose with resolute determination. "I am not here to oppose you, but to save a disciple of my sect. Your actions have caused enough destruction and suffering."

Yukari scoffed at the woman's defiance and raised her sword once again, determination burning in her eyes. "I will not let anyone stand in my way. Move aside or face the consequences," she declared, her voice filled with unwavering confidence. The woman remained steadfast, shaking her head in response and assuming a defensive stance, prepared for whatever Yukari would unleash upon her.

With a swift charge, Yukari lunged at the woman, her sword aimed to strike. However, to her surprise, ice began to form around the mysterious figure, rapidly growing thicker and denser. The clash of Yukari's sword against the icy barricade echoed through the air, but the woman behind the frozen shield remained unmoved, displaying a calm and collected demeanor.

Yukari, unfazed by the unexpected defense, reached out and infused her chakra into the ice. As her power surged through, the ice began to melt under her control, gradually dissolving away. She locked eyes with the woman, a confident smirk gracing her lips, knowing she had gained the upper hand. With a flicker of her mother's paralyzing shinjutsu, the woman stood frozen, unable to move or retaliate.

"You should have known better than to mess with me," Yukari taunted, twirling her sword effortlessly in her hand. Her words carried a sense of superiority, confident in her victory over this seemingly weak opponent.

Yukari tightened her grip around the woman's neck, but as the woman began channeling her natural energy, Yukari sensed a shift in the situation. The woman managed to break free from Yukari's hold, backing away cautiously. Yukari followed her, sword still in hand, and continued to taunt her.

"Where do you think you're going?" Yukari sneered. "You think such pitiful use of ice can stop me?" She lunged forward, intending to overpower the woman once again. However, before she could lay her hands on her, the woman activated her natural energy, struggling to regain control of her body.

Yukari's eyes narrowed in frustration as the woman managed to evade her grasp. She activate her mother's paralysis shinjutsu and seized the woman by the neck once more, lifting her off the ground and choking her. The woman gasped for air, her desperate struggles becoming weaker by the second.

Yukari reveled in her power, tightening her grip with sadistic satisfaction. The woman's face turned red, her attempts to break free futile against Yukari's strength. With a sneer, Yukari released her grip, letting the woman collapse to the ground, gasping for breath.

Hovering over the weakened woman, Yukari looked down at her with cold disdain. She spoke with a chilling tone, her words carrying a sense of control and superiority. "You should have thought twice before crossing me," she hissed, her eyes piercing into the woman's soul.

Curiosity sparked within Yukari as she knelt down, placing a finger under the woman's chin. She inquired, "What is your name?", and the woman weakly responded, "Su Yang." Yukari's cold demeanor persisted as she regarded her. "I did not spare you. Your existence only serves to benefit me," she declared, her intentions clear.

"I don't understand why you're saving that guy. You should not lie to yourself," Yukari mentioned opening a portal. Her companions and herself all left, knowing that the battle against the Otsutsuki was approaching. As they left through a portal, Su Yang watched them with lifeless and cold eyes.

She had never experienced such treatment before, and emotions swirled within her, but fear dominated them all. Doubt crept into her mind as she stood there, powerless and helpless, realizing the magnitude of the monsters that existed in the world.

"Am I deceiving myself? Why did I try to help him?" Su Yang pondered, questioning her own motives. She contemplated the significance of the sect and its influence on her desire for strength. "But why should I care about this sect? Even without it, I could have grown stronger," she mused, feeling conflicted and uncertain.
