10 CH 8 UCHIHA MASSACRE

It was a night with a full moon. In Konoha, the moonlight illuminated the village, creating a beautiful yet eerie atmosphere.

Almost everyone was asleep, except for Itachi Uchiha, whose body was covered in Uchiha blood. His eyes were wet, as if on the verge of tears, as he prepared to kill both of his parents.

"Father," Itachi said with a trembling voice.

"It's okay," Fugaku replied calmly, looking at Itachi's face. He knew Itachi had come to kill him and his wife, yet he comforted his son, saying, "You may have chosen a different path, but you're sure of your convictions. So, I'm proud of you."

Fugaku was extremely proud of his son for making this decision. He knew Itachi had no other choice.

"Itachi, please spare Sasuke," Mikoto Uchiha said with deep emotion in her voice. Even though she was proud of Itachi, she knew this day would come, and she had no regrets.

Itachi was overwhelmed with emotion at that moment. He wished he could spend a little more time with his parents, but he couldn't. Even when Itachi killed Izumi, the love of his life, he showed her a vision of their happy life together. They had children and a happy family. When Izumi fell ill in old age, Itachi didn't hesitate; he killed her right then and there.

While all of this was happening, Mito was there too, hiding and making sure no one could see her. She even transformed into a Root shinobi so that if anyone saw her, they wouldn't misunderstand her.

As soon as Itachi killed his parents, Mito created over 100 Shadow Clone jutsu. She transformed half of them into small rats and the other half into Root shinobi. Their mission was to destroy as many Sharingan as possible. Mito didn't want anyone, not even Danzo and Obito, to have the Sharingan.

This time, Obito wasn't collecting Sharingan; that task was given to Black Zetsu.

Mito already knew she couldn't use the Sharingan even if she collected them all. She had no medical training, nor did she have an explanation if anybody asked about the Sharingan. But if she couldn't have them, why should anyone else? Mito didn't plan to destroy every eye; in fact, she kept four Mangekyou Sharingan eyes — two from Fugaku and two from Mikoto Uchiha. She also had her own Mangekyou Sharingan, though it wasn't explained in the anime. Mito didn't even leave their bodies behind; instead, she sealed both of them in a scroll. Her plan was to use the five Mangekyou Sharingan in the future if she needed to. She was also very wary of Izanami and Izanagi, though she was confused about both concepts.

Killing only Obito in Shippuden was already very tough, and if he got Mangekyou Sharingan, it would be almost impossible.

While Mito's clone was busy destroying Sharingan eyes, the other half infiltrated the Root base. Since most of the original Root shinobi were in the Uchiha clan, it was easy for the clones to take all the money, gold, and Hashirama cells from Danzo's base. Though Mito hadn't unlocked her Flying Thunder God jutsu yet, most of the clones managed to take everything and leave the base.

Suddenly, Mito got an idea. More than half of the Sharingan eyes were destroyed by her clones, and the best part was that Obito saw a Root shinobi destroying Sharingan. But that was actually Mito's clone.

Now, Root shinobi thought Obito had destroyed all the Sharingan, and Obito thought the same for the Root shinobi.

Almost everything in the Uchiha clan was done. Obito and the Root shinobi were searching for Sharingan, but they couldn't find any — at least, not hopefully.

Hiruzen was waiting for news from Itachi when suddenly, BOOM! A loud explosion echoed throughout the Uchiha clan.

Mito gave an evil smile and smirked. She looked just like Minato in his younger days.

It was the Root base that had been blasted by the clone Mito left behind.

Mito was extremely happy to know that she had destroyed Danzo's Root base. At least Danzo would be weakened; he wouldn't have a strong army if he didn't have his Root shinobi. Not all of the Root shinobi were killed, but many of them were.

"Finally, all Uchiha dead. Only two left," Mito said.

"LOL, you are acting like Tobirama Senju," the System teased her.

"I must give a party to Naruto, though he doesn't know anything," Mito said, relieved.

"Congratulations, host, you've unlocked a new jutsu," the System announced.

"Flying Thunder God Technique unlocked. Flying Thunder God Technique 5%."

"Are you kidding me, System? Why didn't you gift me this before the Uchiha massacre?" Mito said, her voice tinged with frustration and happiness.

"Because I want you to gain more emotional strength," the System replied.
