CH 14 MASTER IN FLYING GOD JUTSU

"You guys can have your lunch," Kakashi said, while staring at Mito. Mito obviously did not make eye contact.

"CONGRATULATIONS, HOST! YOU'VE MASTERED THE FLYING THUNDER GOD TECHNIQUE," the system said.

Mito was about to cry; she was overwhelmed, knowing she had finally mastered her favorite technique.

"Thanks, system," Mito muttered quietly.

Well, everyone was having lunch together while Kakashi was sitting alone, reading his Icha Icha book. He did not bring his lunch, thinking he would win the challenge and eventually pass three hours during this test. He would have his lunch when the shop opened. Since he called everyone at 5 am, no shop was open yet.

It was currently 6 am. Early in the morning, within one hour, Team Mito, Sasuke, and Naruto won the bell test and started having their breakfast because they had not had it earlier.

While Kakashi was starving, he was still busy reading his book. He wanted to join them but was too shy to ask. Suddenly, a sweet voice called Kakashi.

"This is for you," Mito said.

Kakashi looked at the box Mito was offering. It was a more childish box because both siblings used to bring cute stuff. He saw and his eyes widened, his eyebrows lifted; it looked like he saw something he liked. It was Kakashi's favorite food.

Mito offered salt-broiled saury and miso soup with eggplant, which was specially made for Kakashi.

Though Kakashi didn't want to take it, he was quite shy and guilty for not bringing his breakfast. But he was starving at that time, plus training time wasn't over yet, so he couldn't go back home to eat.

Even though Kakashi is very independent and does all his work on his own, cooking was something he delayed the most. He is a good cook but yet he loved the meal which Mito cooked for him.

Kakashi waited for a minute, smelling the meal. It was delicious and hot, and he took the box without denying it even once because the meal smelled delicious.

"Thank you for the meal. How did you get this so early this morning?" Kakashi asked.

"Well, Mito knew already that she is going to take that bell early since she already had plan A and plan B, so she prepared half an uncooked meal and planned to cook the meal in the morning," Mito replied without making eye contact.

Kakashi, though she ordered the food from outside, was surprised to know that she actually cooked it.

"I love the food," Mito Naruto said while having ramen.

"She makes the best Ichiraku ramen," Naruto said.

Even though the food was shared with Sasuke as well, he liked it too but yet did not compliment it.

Mito cooked it for everyone, their favorite dishes like ramen for Naruto, onigiri and tomatoes for Sasuke, and salt-broiled saury and miso soup with eggplant for Kakashi.

While she herself took the same meal that Kakashi was having.

Kakashi took his first bite of his meal and realized it was far better than what he made at home.

"How come this is so good?" Kakashi asked.

"Well, Mito loved cooking in her previous life. She had made this dish many times with different spices. She knew Kakashi hated sweet and fried, so she had prepared it accordingly. She even kept the food hot in an airtight and vacuum flask container," Mito replied to Kakashi.

Kakashi loved the meal, yet within a minute, he finished the box. Mito too was thinking if she might see Kakashi's face, but he was way too smart; he turned around and finished his lunch.

"Thank you for the lunch; it was delicious," said Kakashi.

Mito smirked and muttered, "A hungry man is always impressed by food, as my mother usually says."

"Did you say anything?" Kakashi asked.

"No," Mito replied.

EVENING

An aesthetic sunset in Konoha looked just like the anime I used to watch," said Mito while walking towards the grocery store.

She was the only one who used to maintain the house, while Naruto was busy playing and practicing.

"Hey Mito," a sudden voice called out to Mito. It was a female voice but familiar. Mito turned back; it was Hinata.

"Oh hey, Sister—" Mito coughed. Well, she was about to call Hinata her sister-in-law by mistake, but she covered her mistake by coughing.

Hinata was looking at her, worried. "Are you okay?" Hinata asked.

"Yeah, I'm alright. How are you?" Mito asked.

Even though Mito used to sit with Ino, she was also a very good friend of Hinata's. Mito always treated Hinata special, just like family; technically, she knew she was her brother's wife.

"What are you doing here?" Mito asked.

"Nothing, I'm coming from my practice," Hinata said.

"Working hard, huh?" Mito teased her.

While they were talking, Naruto was running towards Mito to ask her if she got his gift. Well, Mito promised Naruto that if he did well in his graduation exam, she would gift his favorite ramen pack with different flavors.

Hinata turned red after seeing Naruto running towards her; she immediately turned her face away.

"Are you okay, Hinata?" Mito asked, despite knowing she felt for him.

POV MITO

Darn, this idiot follows me still here? Wait, what...

Hinata? Now I know why she used to get so red in the anime; she is not only a fangirl but also a very lustful girl. Her chakra emotion is so high for Naruto. What is she even thinking right now? Lol, I wish I could even get into her mind. Well, that would be cheating.

"Oi, did you buy my favorite ramen in different flavors?" Naruto asked in excitement. He wanted to celebrate his bell test.

"Yeah, I bought it," Mito replied.

"Oh hey, Hinata," Naruto said while smiling.

"Uh, hey, hi Naruto," Hinata said, hesitatingly.

Mito so wanted to tease Hinata in front of Naruto, but she controlled herself, knowing it's not the right time. But she did make fun of her like a friend.

"Oh, you know Naruto, Hinata's doing special training nowadays," Mito said.

Naruto started looking at Hinata, asking what she was doing.

At this time, Hinata's heart was beating extremely fast; she could not think of what to do next.

"I think we should leave," Mito broke the silence, knowing Hinata wouldn't say anything.

Even Hinata was relaxed, knowing they both siblings are now going back to their home, and this time Mito would force Naruto to propose to Hinata.
