13 CH 11 TEAM
When it was all over, everyone returned to class; the fighting exam was finished, and now the 3 main jutsu exam was underway. Well, everything happened just like in canon.
And obviously, Naruto failed in every exam. Mizuki approached Naruto for the scroll, and Mito was aware of this situation. She too wanted this to happen;
all, everything happened just like in canon. Mito also felt that this time, Naruto was quite strong, but still senseless.
It was the day when everyone would be assigned to teams, and Mito was too excited about how and with whom she would end up.
This time, a new member was there: Uzumaki Mito. She even put on her favorite perfume, smelling like the first rain.
"Oh, I love this perfume; it smells so romantic," Mito said.
"Oh my god, I'm about to vomit. Go get a bath," Naruto teased Mito.
"Ah, it doesn't matter if I'm on Earth or in anime; all brothers are the same," Mito muttered.
Mito was very excited for the first time in the academy. Since the real canon was about to begin, now Mito was not going to follow canon, of course; she had her own plans.
Mito and Naruto both entered the academy. Somehow, Mito knew she was going to end up in one of two teams: either Team 7 or Team 10, replacing Rock Lee.
While Mito was thinking all of this, Naruto was dancing and howling all over the classroom, seeming like he had already become a jonin.
Mito just ignored Naruto this time, since he learned his very first new jutsu, Shadow Clone Jutsu. Basically, he was celebrating it.
"Being in a ninja feels really unique and energetic; I wish I could also be a ninja if I went back to the real world," Mito muttered.
"You always end up saying something, and I don't get you, as always. Now, what did you say?" Ino asked.
"Well, due to Sakura and Ino's fight, mostly Ino used to talk to Mito as a friend. Honestly, Ino actually became a pretty good friend of Mito."
While in the other class, all the boys except Sasuke were busy impressing and blushing whenever Mito was around.
"Well, Mito really doesn't give a shit; she's actually an adult stuck in a ninja kid's body. She was actually interested in Kakashi Hatake."
"This will only work if Kakashi shows any sign to Mito."
Soon, Iruka-sensei entered the class and was ready to announce.
"Okay, now calm down, everyone, including you, Naruto," Iruka-sensei said.
"Now, I am going to announce the top three students who got the highest marks in the class, and one of them is the Rookie of the Year," Iruka-sensei said.
"Neji Hyuga, congratulations; you are third. Best of luck for the future."
"Uchiha Sasuke, congratulations; you are second. Best of luck for the future."
"And now, first and Rookie of the Year goes to... It is still shocking for all of us, since this kunoichi was so average in class, but yet took away the Rookie of the Year spot: Uzumaki Mito," Iruka-sensei announced.
"Yoooow, Mito, you rock!" Naruto shouted.
Everyone was not shocked to see this because they all saw how powerful Mito was after winning against Sasuke Uchiha.
Although Mito was frustrated with Naruto's childish behavior, she also knew he was just a kid. Anyway, he should be acting like a kid.
"Well, anyway, calm down; now I am going to announce the teams, and from now on, you guys are going to learn from these sensei, okay?"
Everyone was so excited to know that they had all graduated and something new was coming. Every girl just wished to be on Sasuke's team, and at the same time, most boys wanted to be on Mito's team.
"Team 10: Shikamaru Nara, Ino Yamanaka, Choji Akimichi."
POV INO
"Why the heck, why, god, why? Now please don't put Sakura on Sasuke's team, for god's sake."
END POV
"Team 8: Kiba Inuzuka, Hinata Hyuga, Shino Aburame."
"Team 7: Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki, and Mito Uzumaki."
"What the...?" Mito muttered.
"Sensei, how did I end up on my brother's team?" Mito asked.
"Well, this team has been decided by our Hokage. Sasuke is a good ninja, while you are extremely good in chakra control and intelligence, kunoichi. Naruto is weak; that's why this team is decided," Iruka-sensei explained.
POV MITO
"Oh, I think Hiruzen did see my fight with Sasuke, so basically, he formed a team like:
One genius like Sasuke, Orochimaru, Kakashi.
Intelligent kunoichi like me, Tsunade, Rin.
Hopeless idiot like Naruto, Jiraiya, Obito."
While in canon, Sakura was a bookworm, but in this case, I think I was chosen because of my fight with Sasuke. Well, it's good; being with Naruto, I can also take care of him and teach him all new jutsu if possible.
END POV
"Ahh, I wish Sakura would be on my team, though," Naruto muttered.
"How did you end up on Sasuke's team?" Ino shouted.
"Well, don't worry; I'm not interested in Sasuke," Mito replied to calm Ino down.
"Well, now one by one, sensei will take you for your training. All the best," Iruka-sensei said.
In this case, Sakura was shifted to another team, which was almost unknown and not shown in the anime.
"Ahh, well, anyway, Sakura did nothing in Naruto's entire series, though, and in Naruto Shippuden, yeah, she was good, but anyway, I don't think anything will be different since she is a girl who will never leave Sasuke. I am pretty sure Sakura will end up with Sasuke this time as well," Mito thought.
While one by one, every sensei was taking their students out of class, and as usual, Team 7 was last.
"Ahh, this guy is always last," Mito said.
"What? Do you know who our sensei is?" Sasuke asked, questioning Mito's tone.
"Oh, no, no way. I don't know, but yeah, he is quite late," Mito somehow answered his question.
Just like in canon, Naruto was thinking of doing some mischievous thing. He was planning to put a duster stuck between the doors so that Kakashi would get his punishment for being late.
While Naruto was planning, Mito was stopping him.
"Come on, Naruto, don't do that," said Mito.
"Why not? Our sensei is late; he should get his reward," replied Naruto.
"Ahh, this kid will make me the villain," muttered Mito.
Well, everyone was waiting for Kakashi Hatake, but yet Mito was worried. She really didn't want to hurt Kakashi.
Soon, they started hearing footsteps. The way Kakashi was coming, Mito too was getting comfortable. Though she had seen the anime so many times, it was still her first time seeing him in real life.
Mito was also thinking to remove the duster. "Ah, screw it. Naruto, this is not happening this time," muttered Mito and jumped off from her seat.
The moment she jumped off from her seat and took the duster out, at the same moment Kakashi opened the door. Well, due to the sudden door opening, Mito lost her balance.
She was about to fall, but Kakashi held her. Kakashi was holding Mito in a romantic position, like what happens mostly in movies.
