Chapter 22 : Submitted

Next Day

Room 301 where every Team was Instructed by their Jonin Instructors to submit the Application was blocked by 2 Chunin level Shinobi of Konoha, They did not allow anyone to enter the Class and whoever tried to go either way got a beating from those Shinobi

That's when Team 7 got to the floor and saw the commotion but all three of them just walked past the door, They with a glance understood that the room that these Shinobi were blocking was not 301 but room 201, These Chunin had put a Force-Field Genjutsu which made the Room 201 as Room 301

"Huh!, Where are you guys going?"

The Chunin got curious and asked them and only Sakura stopped as the other two did not bother to explain

"We are going to the real Room 301 to Submit our Applications"

Sakura turned and ran towards her teammates who were waiting for her by the stairs

The Chunin's were impressed and the Participants felt lacking, The one who was most affected by that was Neji, He didn't think that there might be a test before even the application form was submitted, If he knew then he could've just used his Byakugan to see through the Genjutsu

"Impressive but seeing through a Genjutsu isn't enough!"

The Chunin runs and Attacks Sakura who even though stunned uses Substitution Jutsu with a Log, The other Chunin runs towards the Other Two

Sakura got to her Team and stood behind them 

When the Chunin who attacked Sakura kicked the wood out of the way, he saw the other Chunin who ran towards the 2 Boys of Team 7 lying on the ground because Naruto punched him in the Gut and Sasuke kicked his Leg with a Sweep

Both Chunin then stopped fighting and left that location they had tested them enough, Team 7 also left as if nothing had happened to Room 301 

"Hey Naruto, how did you use Visual Genjutsu? As much as I know only those with Sharingan can do that"

While Team 7 were walking towards the Class where they had to gather to submit the Application and the Exam Sasuke Asked, He wondered how Naruto could use Genjutsu without having Sharingan, He used it against Kakashi during the bell test

"It's a D-Rank Genjutsu called Hell Viewing Technique[1], It's easy to learn and can be used with just gaze..."

Naruto explained while walking to get to the Class, He learned about that Jutsu when he sneaked into the Third Hokage's Home, Everything that he read there he then wrote them down in his Scroll to practice those Jutsu which Third Hokage had

"...But It did not work well on Kakashi-Sensei, Either it showed Kakashi-Sensei something that wasn't scary or he just isn't scared of anything, When I used that Genjutsu on him he was only shocked not scared"

While Naruto kept on explaining they reached the Class where they had to submit their Application form 

Kakashi knew that his Team would participate so he didn't show himself and just observed them from afar with other Jonin Instructors

They entered the room and the room was filled with many Shinobi who had come to apply for this Exam

"Hey Guys, Been a while huh"

A Blonde Girl jumped to Naruto and got right next to him with her hand on his Shoulder

"Ino!, How are you?"

Both girls started a talk with each other they'd been friends for a long time and were on good terms with each other, while the ones Naruto wanted to meet for a while showed up

"Hey, Naruto"

Shikamaru and Choji walked towards Naruto, With all of them going on Missions they couldn't meet each other at all, So they started catching up with each other, There was a Guy with Glasses who started talking to his Team but Naruto just got into a long and joyful conversation with Shikamaru and his team so he didn't pay it any attention, Ino also joined her team members to talk with Naruto

She has always been doing this, she had been observing Naruto for a long time and knows that he only is this Happy around Shikamaru and Choji, He also had gotten friendly with her by all this time

She from day one was interested in Sasuke like everyone but as time went by she got more and more away from that interest, The start of that was when she confessed to Sasuke who rejected her

At that time Naru-Shika-Cho were walking around and they witnessed the moment when Sasuke rejected Ino, Naruto saw her crying and chose to console her

Shikamaru and Choji also followed him since they both knew Ino because of her family and also didn't want to leave Naruto with someone who might just flip out on him

It was not a rare sight for them to see someone treat Naruto with Anger for no reason so they mostly stayed around him, It was really exhausting for Shikamaru but he was still willing to do it for his friend

Though their worries did not pose a problem because she appreciated Naruto's concern, The boys then hung out with her to make her feel better which worked and she got over her sorrow and got a new friend, Naruto was also happy to have one more friend which was hard for Naruto

The Crush she had for Sasuke did not even last more than a week after that and she was not even bothered by the fact that Sakura was interested in Sasuke, She had someone who she was interested in so that didn't bother her

Naruto on the other hand while talking to his Friends looked towards the other Ninja who had come here from other villages, while looking towards everyone his gaze fell on a Ninja, Naruto felt intimated by that Chakra, it was a kid with red hair and a gourd on his back, That Chakra was much more dense than his and was the strongest he have even felt

'What is this Chakra? I've Never...NO! I've, I have sensed Chakra denser than this and more Ominous than this'

Naruto realized that he also had the Chakra that was in the Red Haired kid, He had been trying to understand the Nine-Tails Chakra which resides inside of him but that didn't end well, He tried to reach for that Chakra which was sealed but was leaking at very less amount which Naruto tried to manipulate and use but he suddenly felt everything darkened

All he could see was a strange unknown place, There was a huge cage in front of him, He kept on staring at the Cage for a while and that's when he saw a red-orange colored Fox with black fur around its red eyes that stretched up to its ears and Nine long swiping tails, That was the Nine-Tailed Fox which everyone so afraid of and also the reason why everyone despises him

He felt intimidated by it but before he could do anything he fell unconscious on his bed, That was a scary experience for him but also thrilling so for now he chose to not meddle with that Chakra or that Beast

Without a doubt, That Chakra that he felt inside of him was filled with hatred and was much denser than the one he was feeling from the Ninja of the Sand

'Does that kid also have the Nin-'

"Sorry to keep you waiting, I'm Ibiki Morino, I'm the Proctor and the Chief Examiner for the first part of the Exam"

[1] : Hell Viewing Technique is a D-Rank Genjutsu, It shows the most Horrific situation which had never occurred to the Victim,

In OG Naruto, Kakashi uses it on Sakura who then sees that Sasuke has been injured by many Kunai and Shurikens
