39 The proper use of byakugan

It had been two weeks since Hinata started training with the group. Tenten was doing her best, but the progress was far too slow. Hinata and Tenten had developed a friendship, and she now felt comfortable around her. However, she still struggled with the rest of the group.

'It's time to do something more drastic,' Sasuke thought.

At the end of the training, Sasuke asked Hinata to stay behind for a talk. Neji wanted to wait for her, but Sasuke told him to go back because it would take time. Neji looked at him with disgust but obeyed.

Tenten continued her training while waiting for everyone to leave. She wanted to spend time alone with Sasuke as usual, and she was surprised when Hinata stayed back.

Sasuke gathered the two of them next to him and said, "Hinata, I've noticed your progress, and I've decided to add one more exercise to help you overcome your shyness."

Both of the girls gave him their full attention, and he continued, "If you want to be Naruto's girlfriend, you'll have to be able to handle specific situations."

He then turned towards Tenten and kissed her.

Hinata's eyes widened, and she looked at the floor, completely red. 'What are they doing? He…kissed…her…in…the…mouth,' she thought in panic.

Seeing the girl's reaction, Tenten gave Sasuke a look that Sasuke interpreted as 'Are you sure this is a good idea?'

Sasuke nodded at her.

"Hinata…Hinata…Hinata…"

It took Hinata almost a minute to reply. "Ye…s…Sa…su…ke."

"Hinata, if you want to be Naruto's girlfriend, you should be able to handle a kiss. This is normal behavior, and it's not something you should be ashamed of."

Hinata didn't reply. She was lost in her thoughts, imagining herself and Naruto doing the same thing.

"Hinata, are you sure you want to be Naruto's girlfriend?"

"YES," she said with a loud voice.

Sasuke now had a smile on his face and said, "I will give you a mission then. Every day after training, you must stay here and watch me and Tenten kissing. You are not allowed to look at the floor."

The girl nodded but didn't lift her head.

Watching her reaction, Tenten went next to her and gently pushed her chin up with a smile. She then returned to Sasuke and started kissing him.

'She once again proves that she is my most useful plaything,' Sasuke thought.

Hinata had never before felt more ashamed in her life. Her cheeks were completely red, and she even felt a little dizzy. However, she was also determined. 'I must do this. I want to do this with Naruto-kun.'

Neji was leaving the training, and as usual, he activated his Byakugan to take a look around. When he was sure that nobody was following him, he made his way to his favorite spot, one of the many abandoned houses near the border of the Uchiha compound.

The first time Neji realized that Tenten stayed behind after training, he was curious and used his Byakugan to spy on her. When he watched the kiss between her and Sasuke, Neji felt extremely uncomfortable. However, seeing Tenten like this, an unknown emotion appeared within him, and he couldn't stop looking. Even his body was reacting strangely to this sight, and Neji didn't know what to do. He felt ashamed and told himself never to do that again.

However, it was not so simple. In the following days, Neji struggled and couldn't get these images out of his mind. His body kept reacting strangely, and several times he found his hand moving unconsciously.

He found himself watching the sight for a second time, a third time, and it eventually became a habit. Up to this point, all his thoughts were about his unfair fate, his revenge, and his training. He realized that this new hobby was the only thing that he truly enjoyed.

It had been years since Neji started his new hobby, and he had developed some peculiar preferences. He liked Tenten and her playful nature. The girl liked to do strange things like kissing Sasuke's hands, and Neji had high expectations for her. On the other hand, in the rare occasions that Sakura stayed behind, she acted like a servant. Sasuke gave her commands, and she obeyed. However, what Neji was expecting the most was to watch Ino like that.

After developing his new hobby, he found himself checking girls more and more, and Ino was by far his favorite. She was tall with an athletic body, wide shoulders, and a long neck. She had the perfect body!

However, all these years, Ino never joined Sasuke, and Neji found himself getting angry with him.

'Uchiha, are you stupid? How can you have a girl like her and do nothing? Why do you only kiss them? Uchiha, if only I were in your position…' He knew he was unreasonable, but he couldn't control his thoughts.

Ever since he began his missions, he was very displeased. 'What if something happens with Ino, and I miss it because I am away?'

When Sasuke took Sakura, Ino, and Tenten into his house, Neji wanted to spy on them, but he couldn't do it with Shikamaru and Hinata around.

Today was a very strange experience for him. Hinata stayed behind, and Neji was very conflicted with the idea of watching his cousin in situations like these.

When he saw his cousin watching the kiss between Tenten and Sasuke, he was furious.

'Uchiha, you fucker. You are corrupting her like you did with me.'

However, he didn't stop watching. When the kissing stopped, Neji looked towards Sasuke with a hateful look. For a brief second, Sasuke's gaze crossed his, and Neji felt exposed. However, he immediately relaxed.

'It must be my idea. His Sharingan has a smaller reach, and he didn't even activate it. I am getting paranoid.'

For the next week, Tenten, Hinata, and Sasuke kept the same routine. Neji could see that Hinata was now much more comfortable.

However, some peculiar thoughts appeared in his mind… How would his cousin react to a kiss? What would her preferences be? Would she be playful like Tenten or more obedient like Sakura?

Neji knew that his thoughts were unnatural, and he felt guilty. However, even after returning to his room in the Hyuga compound, he found himself unable to remove these strange thoughts. After an internal struggle that lasted for several minutes, he decided to activate his Byakugan to spy on Hinata.

What he saw would forever be engraved in his memories. Hinata was wearing short pajamas and she had a blanket between her legs. She had rolled up her blanket and she was rubbing it towards her body. Neji couldn't exactly describe her expression but in one moment he forgot everything that he previously knew about his cousin.

He was extremely excited and he couldn't wait to watch her again. However, something unexpected happened. In the next morning when he met his uncle during breakfast, he was looking at him with a hateful and disgusted expression.

'FUCK, FUCK, FUCK. DID HE FIND OUT?' 

Neji was extremely stressed. After thinking about it all day, he concluded that this should not be the case and that it was just a coincidence. However, he hadn't realized how much his lust clouded his judgment.

Late in the evening, he activated his Byakugan and tried to spy on Hinata once again. However, there was a strange barrier around her room, and he couldn't see anything. He also felt the barrier recording his gaze, and he instantly knew that he had completely messed up.

The next day, when Sasuke and Tenten returned to the Uchiha compound, Neji was already waiting for them. There was a strange air around him, and he seemed completely lost.

"Neji, did something happen?" Sasuke asked.

Neji looked at him and said, "I need a favor."

Sasuke nodded for him to continue.

"I need a place to stay. Can you let me stay in one of the houses here?"

"What happened?" Tenten asked with worry.

"You know the situation in my clan… I had an argument with my uncle and he told me to get the fuck out of the house…"

"That's awful" Tenten said with sincerity.

"Don't worry Neji, of course you can stay here. Follow me" Sasuke said. 

Sasuke moved towards the borders of the Uchiha compound and pointed Neji to a house. 

"I think that this would be the perfect house for you. I can tell that you already like it." Sasuke said with an honest smile.

Neji was petrified and his mouth was wide open. This was his hidden spot!

It took several seconds for him to return to reality. Tenten who was calling him was getting very worried.

He finally replied to her calls but he couldn't take his eyes away from Sasuke's face which still had a big bright smile.

Sasuke thinks that Hyugas are wasting their talents but in this chapter Neji proves him wrong ;)

Some relaxing chapters before the story turns serious once again. I think that they are good for character development ;)
