As the family of three walked back to their house, Izuna couldn't help but think back to the Hokage and Danzo.

He thought to himself, 'I remember Hiruzen being practically incompetent with the way he handled Danzo and the Uchiha mess, as well as how badly he allowed people to treat Naruto. But he doesn't seem to be that bad at the moment. Maybe he just got worse with age and stress. There still are two wars and a Nine Tails attack that he has to go through before we get to canon Hiruzen.'

He then thought about Danzo and how he was clearly already scheming for the downfall of the Uchiha clan. 'I don't want to have to change the future too much, but Danzo has got to go. Once I get the strength to do so, I think I should kill him. He was nothing but a scourge to the village.'

He then thought, 'I need to make sure I don't change the future too much. I still need Sasuke and Naruto to grow into the powerful shinobi that they were at the end of Shippuden. If not, how will we face the Otsutsuki clan? I can't face them all on my own. I'll definitely need help. I think the plan right now should be to get as strong as I can before the canon starts, then allow those events to play out like they did in the show, to some extent changing minor details here and there. And once Kaguya makes her move, I'll step in and help take her down.'

The family then finally made it home, and Akemi said to Izuna, "Welcome home, Izuna. This is the Uchiha clan compound. This is where you will grow up."

Izuna, seeing the Uchiha clan home, thought to himself, 'For the sake of my new family, one thing I must change is the Uchiha massacre. I have to get strong enough to either be in control of the clan so we can get rid of our problems with the village or be strong enough to kill whoever is the voice that is fueling the push for war with the village.' As the family walked toward their house, Izuna suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of tiredness wash over him, and he was forced to fall asleep.
