61 - 61 - First Kill

Izuna knew that he needed to start with the bandit overlooking the valley, so he used 'Earth Military Movement Jutsu' to swim into the ground and appear right behind the unsuspecting bandit.

He thought to himself while he was still underground, 'Okay, here it goes, my first kill.'

He raised himself out of the ground and quietly took out his father's chakra blade, and in one swift motion, beheaded the bandit. He smoothly caught the body and the head and laid them on the ground, making sure to make as little noise as possible.

'Okay, that's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I definitely feel something, but knowing that this guy is just a murderer and who knows what else makes me feel a lot better,' he thought to himself.

Now above the two bandits that were guarding the entrance of the cave, he used 'Dust Release: Weightless' and 'Swift Release: Comet Dash' to fly above them, then he dropped and in two flashes, beheaded them both. Their bodies hitting the ground made enough noise for the people inside to notice.

He quickly flickered in and created a shadow clone and used a combination attack with 'Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu' mixed with 'Wind Release: Wind Dragon Jutsu' to take out the two bandits in the farthest left cave. The two bandits, who had just stood up to check on the noise, were burnt to a crisp.

He then flickered into the middle cave and used 'Wind Release: High Air Pressure Jutsu' to cause the two bandits disorientation and easily killed them without them even putting up a fight.

Now there were just four bandits remaining in the last larger room of the cave. He used 'Earth Military Movement Jutsu' to pass through the wall of the cave, and when he entered, for the first time, he looked right into the eyes of his soon-to-be victims and saw fear in two of them and hatred in the other two.

Knowing who to go after first, he threw two shurikens at the two men whose eyes were filled with hatred and followed it up with his sword.

One of the men dodged, while the next blocked. Izuna went after the one who blocked and stabbed him in the neck, leaving him to bleed out, and swung his blade in a horizontal arc at the next bandit, who had dodged his shuriken, and bisected the man in two with the help of his wind nature chakra flow.

He turned around, ready to face the two remaining bandits who were on their knees begging for mercy, "Mercy, mercy, please have mercy."

This is when Jiraiya, Minato, and Hinoka walked into the cave. Izuna looked up at Jiraiya, who nodded his head.

Izuna looked at one of the bandits and said, "Where are the 5 girls you kidnapped?"

The two bandits looked at each other and frowned, then pleaded, "Please have mercy, we had nothing to do with those girls or the town, please spare us."

Izuna frowned, reading between the lines; the girls were already dead. He then looked at both men and cast a genjutsu on them, causing them all sorts of pain, and then he walked forward and mercilessly beheaded both of them. He then cleaned his sword of all the blood and put it back in his storage seal.

Jiraiya thought to himself, 'Excellent, this boy is very efficient, and also, I can tell he did not enjoy killing these men, but he did it anyway. He is not just a thoughtless killer but will get the job done regardless.'

Jiraiya looked at Izuna and said, "Well done, my boy. You did far better than I thought you would have."

Izuna, with a frown on his face, responded, "Thank you, sensei." He didn't really feel bad about killing these men, and he definitely didn't feel bad for torturing the last two before he ended them. He just felt bad for those five girls that he had hoped to save.

Hinoka, not able to hold it back anymore, threw up on the floor of the cave, and Jiraiya just patted her on the back and said, "Don't worry, you will get used to the smell as well as the sight with time."

Jiraiya then looked at Minato and thought, 'He has also done well to not be disturbed by this; he should be fine when it is his turn to kill the bandits.' He then looked over to Hinoka, who was still bent over, dry heaving, and thought, 'Hopefully, when her time comes, the adrenaline will allow her to continue. I'll have to keep a close eye on her when her time comes.'

Jiraiya said to the group, "Okay, since the girls aren't here, we don't have to go back to the village. We can go straight to the next camp, so let's go." They then walked outside the cave, and he continued, "One of you go get the body on top of the cave."

Minato said, "Yes, Sensei." Then he went to grab the body. While he was doing that, Jiraiya said, "Hinoka, throw those two bodies into the cave."

Hinoka said, "Yes, Sensei." She was confused, but she did it anyway.

Once Minato was back, he also threw the body into the cave, and then Jiraiya used a jutsu to collapse the cave, burying the dead bandits under the rubble.

Hinoka asked, "Sensei, don't we have to turn those in to the village to show that we completed the mission?"

Jiraiya said, "No, proof is only required for assassination missions. With bandit missions, your word is enough. Plus, if you didn't really kill the bandits, it will be easy to find out that you were lying."

Izuna then pushed his sensing range as far as he could, which was now two thousand meters, to check and make sure that they got all the bandits. After finding nobody else around, he figured that they had managed to get them all.
