4 - 4 - Breaking the Encirclement

Takashi and Akemi, holding Izuna, walked outside to find that they were surrounded by 10 chunin, 1 jounin, and 2 elite jounin.

Takashi, seeing this, immediately used the Shadow Clone Jutsu and created another clone. He looked over to Akemi and whispered, "Be ready to run."

Akemi nodded her head and held Izuna tight in her left arm with a kunai in her right hand.

Takashi, an elite jonin, alongside his clone, launched into action. One clone utilized "Wind Release: Infinite Breakthrough," a potent B-rank Jutsu, while the other employed "Fire Release: Fire Dragon Jutsu," another B-rank Jutsu. The combined force of wind and fire tore through the enemy's formation, creating a vital opening in their encirclement.

As his mother began to run for her life through the hole his father had just made, Izuna could only think, 'I wish there was something I could do. I couldn't even use the save point if I wanted to.'

His mother, using 'Body Flicker Jutsu,' was now outside the encirclement, being chased down by 3 chunin and 1 jounin. As she created distance away from her husband, she turned around and used her Sharingan to cast a genjutsu over the 3 chunin, which instantly stopped them in their tracks, allowing her to flicker over and kill them instantly. The remaining jounin, seeing this, was now alarmed and had his defenses up.

The two jounins then battled to the death, neither one being able to gain an advantage over the other.

Izuna could only sit tight and watch as his mother, who fought not only for her life but for his as well, struggled in combat.

He occasionally looked over to his father, only to see him being beaten down by the remaining ninjas, with the two elite jounins giving his father the hardest time.

After several minutes of fighting, the situation looked grim for the couple and their newborn child. Akemi was fighting on her last legs, unable to properly fight while holding and protecting a newborn in her arms.

Just as all hope seemed lost, Akemi finally managed to catch her opponent in a genjutsu, thanks to her Sharingan, and quickly ended his life. As they began to flee, they both looked back at their respective husband and father to see a terrible sight. Takashi had managed to kill the seven chunin, but the two elite jonin now had their blades plunged into his stomach.

Izuna, seeing this, not only feared losing his new father, whom he had finally managed to get in this second chance at life, but the sight also caused him to think back to that very night when he was stabbed in the liver and left for dead.

These two scenarios running through his brain were too much for his small, frail body to bear.

With tears now running down his face, suddenly a large amount of chakra began to gather in his eyes. His emotions triggered a change in his chakra as his eyes began to change. A one-tomoe Sharingan awakened in both of his eyes.

Izuna now watched in fear as his father was impaled by the two swords. Then, as if coming from the depths of hell, the color of light purple could be seen reflecting off his now red eyes.
