16 - 16 - Izuna's Shadow
It was still pretty early in the morning after Izuna finished his physical training. So, he decided it was time to focus on the Leaf Concentration exercise, which helped him practice both his chakra control and his concentration.
He could now consistently hold it on his forehead for 35 minutes and even had broken the 40-minute barrier two times.
After a couple of hours of practicing his chakra control, Izuna began to think about his future.
He thought to himself, 'In the future, I might have to do things that the village wouldn't think kindly of in order to ensure the plot goes the way I need it to. Also, I might one day have to take Itachi's place during the Uchiha Massacre with Obito, so I need to have two different fighting styles. I'll have my main fighting style that the world will recognize as Izuna Uchiha, and I'll have an alternate persona that will do all the dirty work that no one can ever know about.'
He then thought about his affinities, 'I know I have the five main affinities. The question is, which ones should I use with which persona?'
He thought it over and finally decided to use fire, the staple of the Uchiha, mixed with wind, which itself was strong, but paired together with fire, the two were greater than the sum of their parts, for offense. And decided on earth for defense for his main persona.
He then thought of his alter ego, the one that would remain in the shadows. 'In this personality, I'll use lightning mixed with water for my offense and once again use earth for defense. Having earth for defense is so common that nobody will possibly be able to make the connection.'
'I just have to make sure that no one knows that I have any affinity for lightning and water. As long as I don't use chakra paper and take the test in front of anyone, I should be fine.'
'The only problem is, how do I train these two elements without anyone finding out? I could probably ask my father for a training room with seals on it so no one can spy on me, but that isn't exactly foolproof. The person who puts in the seals could possibly put in a backdoor for the village or the clan, so the best thing for me to do is to become a Fūinjutsu master myself.'
'I guess that should be a problem for another day.'
