As Naruto reached the surface, he saw Jiraya waiting for him impatiently. He knew that Jiraya must have been heartbroken to see what had become of his student and wanted to console him but Jiraya immediately said "Go home and pack your bags we are leaving now."

"What? Now? How can we leave when the meeting is just 2 weeks away?" Naruto asked. He wasn't a person to run away from danger and neither was Jiraya so his behavior like this suddenly confused Naruto.

"Don't worry we will be back in the village before the meeting. But right now there is someone I need to meet. Go pack your bags fast and meet me at Ichiraku ramen. We need to stuff our bellies before we leave." Jiraya said.

"Stuff our bellies before we leave? If your work is as important as you say, how do we have time to eat?" Naruto asked.

"Trust me Naruto...you don't want to eat where we are going. You will regret it if you go there and feel hungry." Jiraya said. Naruto didn't beleive him one bit but he still agreed since the risk was not worth it.

"Alright, I will meet you in half an hour at Ichiraku's." Naruto said and left.

As Naruto reached Ichiraku's he saw Jiraya was already eating Ramen. He looked to one side and saw that Jiraya had already finished two bowls and he was now on his third.

"Enough Sensei...why are you stuffing yourself like that? We won't be able to even run if we do that." Naruto said.

"Stop asking questions Naruto...just get on with it. My treat." Jiraya said without even lifting his head.

Hearing the golden words 'My treat' was more than enough to convince Naruto to eat.

After finishing 9 bowls of ramen combined, Jiraya looked at Naruto and asked "Are you full now?"

Giving his signature bright smile Naruto said "I wish I could eat like this every day. So what now? Don't tell me we have to run now?"

"No need for any of that. Let's go now." Jiraya said as they headed toward Jiraya's house. As they reached inside the house, Jiraya closed the window and started drawing something on the floor. This wasn't a circle Naruto had seen before.

"Stand back now kid. I am about to summon him." Jiraya said as he bit his thumb and smeared the blood on the circle. The very next moment a puff of smoke spread in the dead center of the circle and an outline appeared through the smoke.

"You called me at the wrong time Jiraya boy...I was about to have lunch." A voice came from inside the smoke and as soon all the smoke was cleared, a small green toad wearing a brown hoodie appeared. His eyebrows were white that went to the back of his head and he was green in color.

Naruto looked at the little toad making an odd face and asked "Is he eating a caterpillar right now?"

The toad first glanced at Naruto and then at Jiraya and said "I was having a feast and you summoned me here Jiraya boy. What was so urgent?"

"I am sorry for the sudden summon Fukasaku-sama but I need to go to Mount Myoboku right now. I need to take this kid as well. He is Naruto, my student." Jiraya said.

Fukasaku walked towards Naruto and signaled him to bend to his height. Confused by this Naruto exactly as the little told asked.

Stretching his cheeks Fukasaku looked at him for a few seconds and said "You have got a nice seedling here. Why do you want to get reverse summoned?"

"I need to ask Gamamaru-sama something."

"Who is this Gamamaru pervy sage?" Naruto asked. This was the first time he had heard this name and wondered why didn't Jiraya directly summon this Gamamaru.

"Kid...Gamamaru-sama is the Great Toad Sage. One of the three great sages and the most intelligent one." Jiraya said proudly to which Fukasaku also smiled.

"You can explain him everything after you reach Mount Myoboku Jiraya boy. Let Naruto boy see Mount Myoboku for himself and understand the greatness of being our summoner." Fukasaku said and signaled them both to come closer so that he could reverse summon.

As the three of them stood together Fukasaku looked at Naruto and said "Kid...Jiraya boy once reverse summoned me directly to Mount Myoboku and got himself trapped in the middle of a fight between Gamabunta and a snake. So remember not to make a mistake like him and just have someone from Mount Myoboku reverse summon you."

Naruto gave Fukasaku a thumbs up and winked "I will remember this Fukasaku-sama."

"Tsk...I was planning to let him learn that the hard way Fukasaku-sama. Now you have spoiled my fun." Jiraya joked.

Naruto wanted to reprimand his teacher but he couldn't because the scenery in front of him suddenly changed. For a second Naruto didn't understand what was happening since it was the first time he was reverse summoned but he did feel a little nauseous.

His vision was a little hazy and even the sounds around him sounded dragged.

"Naruto....are you alright?" A hazy voice entered his ears and he turned to face the source and saw a hazy white and red figure which started to come together. After a few seconds, the picture became clear and it was his teacher Jiraya.

"I have never felt anything like this before." Naruto said holding Jiraya's arm as he tried to maintain his balance.

"It's alright kid...this is your first time. You will get used to this feeling after a few times. There is nothing to worry." Fukasaku said.

"THERE YOU ARE" a loud voice attracted everyone's attention and the three of them looked back together.

"Now who is she?" Naruto asked as he saw a toad the same size as Fukasaku walking towards them with a bowl in her hand. She was also green in color wearing a brown hoodie but she had curly purple hair and purple lips.

"That's my wife Shima...Shima, I have already scolded Jiraya boy for disturbing our feast." Fukasaku said pointing towards Jiraya.

"Who is this kid?" Shima asked as she started to look at Naruto.

"Naruto why don't you hang out with Fukasaku and Shima? Maybe you will also get to meet Gamabunta and Gamakichi on the mountain somewhere. I will go and meet the Toad Sage Gamamaru." Jiraya said.

"Oh... it's been a long time since I met Gamabunta...can we go and meet them?" Naruto asked excitedly as he looked at the two toads standing in front of him.

"We can do that later Kid...first you will join me and Fukasaku for lunch. How can I let you leave without having a feast?" Shima said.

Jiraya's face turned purple as he heard that. He knew what Shima was talking about when she talked about a feast.

"I'll get going then." Jiraya said and quickly left.

After leaving his precious student to eat caterpillars and other insects, Jiraya reached the top of the mountain. There was a temple-like structure at the top of the mountain which looked man-made. Jiraya entered the temple and saw that a big reddish toad was sitting on a large throne-like structure. Its eyes were closed and there was a pleasant smile on his face. It had a necklace like this around its neck and a black hat on top of his head.

'Is Gamamaru-sama meditating or something?' Jiraya thought as he looked at the sage. He waited for a few seconds for the toad sage to open his eyes on his own but that time never came.

'Maybe I should try calling him.' Jiraya thought and shouted "Gamamaru-sama"

This made the big toad open his eyes suddenly which made Jiraya realize that the Toad sage wasn't meditating but sleeping.

Gamamaru looked at Jiraya and the smile on his face widened as he said "It's been more than a decade since we met kid. Look at how big you have grown."

"Yes, it's been a long time since we met. There was something I need to talk to you regarding the prophecy you told me about last time." Jiraya said.

Hearing this the expression on Gamamaru's face changed a little. He shook his head and said "Things have changed quite rapidly in the last decade Jiraya. Everything is uncertain now and the threads of fate are weaving a story of their own."

Jiraya couldn't understand a single word the Toad Sage tried to tell him so he just said what he came to say.

"Since you told me about the prophecy, I have taken multiple students at different times. I also have one as well. But in the past few years, I have taken a new disciple and I was sure that he is the child of prophecy and that my disciple will be the one to save the world."

"That is indeed good news and a big relief for you Jiraya. Then what worries you ?" Gamamaru asked.

"I am not sure anymore because today I found out that another disciple of mine is hell-bent on destroying the world." Jiraya said with a sad expression on his face.
