Chapter 031
Sasuke's Apartment
It was almost nightfall when Sasuke returned from his training for the day.
After Kenzo left him, Sasuke began training to familiarize himself with his new power.
He had to say that the feeling was incredible.
The feeling of being able to push his eyes to the maximum.
Due to his increased chakra volume, Sasuke could easily control the power of the Sharingan.
He had bought the last two volumes to finally have his mature Sharingan.
Undoubtedly, Sasuke is currently the most powerful of the young generation.
Far surpassing Neji and Rock Lee.
Leaving his weights team, Sasuke threw himself on the bed.
He closed his eyes and his mind immersed in that woman who always welcomed him with the kindest smile in the world.
'"Okairi, Sasuke.'
A tear fell from his right eye as he held back the urge to cry.
He still hadn't gotten used to the loneliness.
"I've become stronger, if only they were here," he said quietly.
As he remembered his dear mother, the image of that man appeared in his mind.
"Forgive me, Sasuke."
His right hand began to make a deafening crackling sound as he unconsciously activated the Chidori, easily changing the shape of the chakra and piercing the roof of his apartment with a kind of lightning sword.
"I swear I'll kill you." His eyes couldn't help but shed countless tears as he remembered that fateful night again.
The night he lost everything.
However, to Sasuke's dismay, in the midst of his internal dilemma, he managed to see a shadow enter his apartment and leave a large box on his table.
Sasuke didn't have time to be surprised when he quickly decided to follow the figure out of his apartment.
He noticed how the figure stood on a tree branch and looked at him through a rabbit mask.
"Oh! You can see me now, you've improved quite a bit, Sasuke."
Sasuke vaguely sensed a kind of feeling in that sentence, however, he quickly stopped thinking about it and narrowed his eyes at the figure.
From the silhouette of her body, she is undoubtedly a woman.
"Who are you? Why do you leave food for me every day when I come back from training?"
Sasuke demanded an explanation.
"I know who you are, Uchiha Sasuke."
Sasuke couldn't help but frown at this.
"I lost my son in an accident a few years ago, and you simply remind me a lot of him, that's why I want to help you." The mysterious woman, who naturally was Mikoto, said, altering her voice tone slightly.
"What a shitty excuse." Sasuke wasn't foolish enough to believe this.
He took the kunai he always kept in a small ninja pouch on his left leg and ran towards the woman with the intention of fighting her.
Mikoto did not expect this reaction, however, fighting with Sasuke was like a child's play.
Pulling out a kunai as well, she covered it with a black cloak and swung it towards Sasuke's kunai, intending to stop his attack.
Ckank!
A dull sound was heard as Sasuke's kunai was split in half.
"How did you...".
Sasuke didn't have time to be surprised as his Sharingan captured the image of the woman cutting him on the arm.
He easily dodged the attack.
"Good reflexes!" Mikoto praised her son.
However, Sasuke didn't feel identified with this praise at all.
Forming a hand seal, he gathered a large amount of chakra in his stomach, and then expelled it from his mouth towards the woman.
These little games really annoyed him.
"Katōn: Kaen Senpū" (Fire Release: Blaze Whirlwind)
Sasuke expelled a huge amount of fire from his mouth in the form of a whirlwind, intending to burn the strange woman.
However, Mikoto easily countered the attack.
"Dōton: Dorygeki" (Earth Release: Earth Wall)
Sasuke's fire was not powerful enough to even damage Mikoto's Earth Wall.
Mikoto smiled beneath her mask.
You have the power, but you lack combat experience.
"My intention is just to remind you that you are still weak, don't do something foolish, the Sharingan tends to make Uchiha arrogant."
Sasuke stood still as he felt a kunai at his neck, completely immobilizing him.
"A clone? When did this happen?"
He wondered in his mind.
Mikoto intended to properly educate Sasuke, she didn't want to see her son derailed by power.
So she had no choice but to show him the harsh reality.
Mikoto was about to continue with her small training when she felt an evil chakra surrounding all of Konoha.
"The Kyubi?" she unconsciously said.
"How can this be?"
Sasuke took the opportunity to distance himself from the clone and make it disappear with a strong kick.
However, when he looked towards the real body of the woman, she had already completely disappeared.
"Damn it!" he cursed.
Clenching his fists, he had no choice but to bite his lip and admit that he still wasn't up to that man's level.
Not even close.
When he came back to his senses, he saw that on the ground near him, there was some kind of scroll with a note on top.
He picked up the scroll and the note with some suspicion.
"If you manage to learn it, I will give you the next manuals, good luck."
Sasuke threw away the note after reading it while taking a glance at the scroll.
