Yuta Gains Fame at the Academy, Shunshin Jutsu, the Prophecy of Orochimaru’s Defection

Later that day, after Yuta explains the basics of fuinjutsu to Itachi and what he needs to focus on first in his study, they had some basics training with taijutsu, kunai fight and shurikenjutsu for the day.

After that the normal Yuta's academy days continue. After Yuta displayed the top scores in his class last year, this days he gains more and more attention from teachers, that praising him constantly. But they also comparing him with Itachi, a freshman that already showing incredible talent.

When teachers at the academy start speaking about Yuta, they always saying something along the lines "This kid has a good talent, but he's not even close to Itachi's talent!"

But Yuta is not really cares about those talks that circulate in the academy. Yuta is a little concern these days about Danzo and his Root recruitment, because he doesn't want to go through the Root, as he already has plans on teaming up with Itachi and trying to resolve the Uchiha clan situation. Yuta wants to learn a lot of good stuff from Itachi, and if the Uchiha situation will be resolved thanks to Yuta, there will be even more good stuff to learn for him.

Sadly but Yuta doesn't know that at this point Hiruzen is already forbidden Danzo to recruit from the academy top class, so all his worries at this point is meaningless. Even if Danzo want to recruit Yuta at this point, it will be harder that just yoink some students from the normal classes without questions asked.

Among Yuta's classmates, most of the clan kids just ignoring him completely, among the kids that have a civilian background half of them starts fawning over Yuta and following him everywhere at the academy. Yuta just ignores them most of the time. The other half of civilian kids is envious of Yuta's talent and looks at him with resentment.

Not that Yuta cares about those either.

This days Yuta is focused on his physical training, spending all the time on it, constantly adjusting his training routine and weight seals on him, so he can barely last through the day and somewhat recovers for the next one.

Yuta goes through this routine for the whole time as academy started in this timeline, it's been one year and one month of this regime and Yuta's physical energy and strength is growing gradually.

As more time passes, another two months is over. In that time Itachi continued to train Yuta once a week. In that time Yuta managed to convince Itachi to postpone his Fuinjutsu study until he awakens his Sharingan, as Sharingan will help him to study much faster with it, and studying now for Itachi is inefficient waste of time.

Itachi being a smart guy was convinced pretty quickly with that.

Some of theirs training sessions went just by going through the basics with taijutsu, kunais and shurikens fight. Then Itachi taught the Shunshin (Body Flicker) jutsu to Yuta.

As the Shunshin jutsu uses only one of the hand seals, the majority of the work needed for jutsu to function user needs to do through chakra manipulation inside their body. Because of those complications it taken Itachi a three whole training sessions to teach Yuta how to perform it.

The mechanics of this jutsu is that the user needs to mold his chakra in a special way and then use it to enhance the body of the user for a fraction of a second. In that tiny frame of time that this jutsu is working, user have to move at extremely high speed to the desired location.

There is a problem in that, the movement at that extreme speed is hard to control, and when the jutsu is complete, there will be some disorientation immediately after that.

'Well no wonder the Uchiha members was abusing the Shunshin jutsu to the fullest in battle, when other shinobi is rarely use it in battle at all. The Sharingan abilities allow Uchihas to fully negate all the drawbacks of the jutsu.'

'With greatly enhanced visual perception they can move at extremely fast speed of the jutsu with ease and don't get disoriented in the process. And Shisui Uchiha is a greatest example of that, damn he even gets known by the name of Shisui of the Body Flicker!'

'As for me… Well, it's the first D-rank jutsu I learned, can't complain. For now, with my basic mastery of the Shunshin jutsu, I need whole two seconds to perform it and can move up to the distance of 20m. The precision of my movement is slightly off and it's better if there is no obstacles anywhere close along the path, or I may accidently smack myself against it and broke something.'

'Then there is a whole second or two of disorientation right after, that will be fatal in combat. As for the chakra consumption - its goes gradually higher, the higher the distance, but at the point of 20m the consumption of chakra starts skyrocketing if I try to increase the distance. Itachi told me that this will improve when I will use it more and gain more mastery over the jutsu.'

'Well, now there is a jutsu that I have to master, so another time-loop awaits me. I will wait a little longer though before go to the time-loop to master it, I want to learn more stuff from Itachi before that and master it later all at once in one 30-days-time-loop.'

On the next month when Itachi and Yuta met again for the training, Yuta suddenly remembers something.

'This is July on the second year of the academy, this is the month when everyone starts talking about Orochimaru's defection in the previous timeline. Should I tell about it to Itachi? That will further convince him of my supposed prophet Kekkei Genkai.'

'But what if something goes wrong because of that? Well, what he even can do with this information anyway? It's not like he is stupid enough to confront Orochimaru by himself. At max of what he can do is to report the information to someone, but he can't explain the source of it, so I doubt he will do that either.'

'Well, only one way to find out, what can go wrong anyway, right?'

"Itachi, do you remember our agreement?" Yuta looks at Itachi with serious expression when they met at the training grounds, "About that we will try to prevent bad thing from happening in the village when I foresee something important."

Itachi instantly become serious, he asks with a concern, "Did you foresee something bad that will happen?"

"Yes. I don't know if we can do something about it though." Yuta responded calmly, looking at Itachi in the eyes, "I saw the scene, there was Lord Third confronting Orochimaru, though I don't know the context, but Orochimaru runs away after that and defect from the village."

Itachi looks deep in thoughts after hearing that, and then he asks, "Did you know when it will happen?"

"I don't know exactly when it will happen, but it will happen somewhere in this month, closer to the end of the month."

After a minute of thinking Itachi said, "This is a very bad thing for the village, that one of the legendary Sannin is going to defect. But if you saw the Hokage at the scene, there is nothing we could do about it I think. If Hokage didn't stopped Orochimaru, then there is no point to report this to Hokage."

'As I have thought, there is nothing we could do about this situation, and Itachi will not make stupid moves like reporting this to Hiruzen. And after this incident Itachi will believe in my prophecies completely, that will make it easier to convince him on the matter how to solve the Uchiha clan problem in the future.'

'Though I still don't know how I want to approach that issue yet.'

As Yuta going deeper and deeper in thoughts about completely different matter, Itachi suddenly makes a resolute expression and said, "I think I should report it to my father, he might be able to prevent Orochimaru from running away!"

'F**ck! I forgot about how easy Itachi to jump the gun! And what Fugaku is supposed to do about this? Intercept Orochimaru and kill him? I don't think Orochimaru is already started using his body-switching jutsu at this point, so he should not be so vulnerable to genjutsu as he is in the anime because of its drawbacks, and with that I doubt Fugaku will be able to stop him.'

'This is Orochimaru we are talking about after all! He is the top-1 in the whole world of shinobi when it comes to survival capabilities. Cornering and killing him will be almost impossible for Fugaku even with his Mangekyo Sharingan.'

'Well, even if there is no point for Fugaku in trying to intercept Orochimaru, there is also no loss in that for me, so the only thing I care about in this situation, is that my identity as a supposed prophet are staying hidden.'

"You may try to do that." Yuta said with serious tone, "But you shouldn't reveal my identity to him, I can trust you, but I can't trust your clan or your father. If they get to know about my ability, they may try to imprison and hide me for their own benefits. Sorry if my words offend you."

Itachi nods with understanding, "Yes, don't worry, I will not reveal your secret as I promised. Sorry, I have to leave early, we will train some other time."

After saying that Itachi leaves immediately.

'Well, here goes that, this will be the first big deviation from the plot, after me getting close to Itachi of course… What can go wrong with that, I wonder…'
