Chapter 1: A New Life Amid Chaos

Under the cloak of night, promising a near-divine quietude, the village was suddenly shaken by a chain of strange and alarming events, defying all understanding. Without warning, the ground beneath the villagers' feet began to tremble violently, while furious winds howled through the empty alleys, carrying the premonition of an imminent calamity. The houses, built to face weather adversities, now seemed fragile and almost ephemeral in the face of the approaching storm.

In the midst of this turbulence, a terrifying sound broke the silence of the night. A roar, emanating from the depths of an ancient and forgotten world, echoed through the forest, instilling fear even in the bravest. This roar, primitive and laden with wild fury, announced the arrival of an entity with unimaginable powers. Its eyes, shining like torches in the darkness, and its tails, moving with destructive force, signaled the presence of a creature of ancient origin.

The village, until then a haven of peace, became the stage for chaos and confrontation. Mysterious figures, wrapped in cloaks, moved in the shadows with superhuman agility, confronting the monster with courage beyond reason. They performed a precise dance of battle, a spectacle that unfolded in the light of the lightning, revealing a theater of war where each spark was a promise of resistance against the indomitable.

The desperate cries of the civilians tragically mixed with the thunder and ruins of the battle. Families were torn apart, their lives claimed by a dark and unfathomable force. The fight, though uneven, was sustained by the hope that dawn would bring some redemption.

As the night progressed, the tension of the confrontation reached its peak. The creature, surrounded on all sides, unleashed its fury with renewed intensity, threatening to engulf the entire village in its furor.

"Ahhhh!"

Among the rubble of a now-ruined house, a cry of agony rose, full of indescribable fury and suffering.

"Sarutobi-sama!"

The anguished call of the ninjas echoed as they removed stones and debris, searching for the source of the scream.

At the center of this attention, the man whose cry had cut through the night sat, shaken and confused.

'What a strange experience, what an unprecedented sensation...' He reflected, still dazed.

However, his perplexity was interrupted by a new wave of pain as he clutched his head, tormented. A whirlwind of memories and information flooded his mind. In this chaos, the life of Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, unfolded before his inner eyes. The flood of information was so intense that it seemed capable of splitting his mind in two.

This mental storm was even more unbearable than the pains of his first transformations...

"Sarutobi-sama!"

With unfocused eyes, the man now known as Sarutobi-sama turned his vague gaze towards the ninja who removed the last obstacle from his path.

'Sarutobi...' The name echoed in his mind, at once familiar and strange. For someone whose existence began and developed as a spirit incarnated in a weapon, this was a completely new experience.

The ninja, noticing Sarutobi's distant look, sighed, understanding the depth of the trauma. Sarutobi, before being thrown far away, had witnessed the death of his wife, a blow that surely deeply shook someone as revered as the Third Hokage.

However, despite Sarutobi's apparent fragility, his strength was undeniably needed. He was one of the most powerful entities in the village; his intervention was vital to overcome the threat that loomed over everyone.

This conviction was shared by the other ninjas, united in the rescue efforts.

Contrasting with the concern of his saviors, Sarutobi, whose gaze was lost in the void, blinked slowly. In an instant, his previously dimmed eyes shone with a spark of determination.

"So it is..." He murmured, his voice carrying an unusual weight.

The ninjas around, attentive, did not catch his words. The language used by Sarutobi seemed from a forgotten era, increasing the respect they felt for him, even without understanding the meaning of his words.

"Did you say something, Sarutobi-sama?" One of the ninjas asked, mixing respect and curiosity.

Sarutobi stood up with imposing dignity, shaking the dust from his clothes with meticulous gestures. His gaze paused on his own hands, reflecting on the novelty of the experience, 'So this is what it feels like to have human hands...'

After a reflective pause, he picked up his staff, which lay beside him, and with a voice that concealed a whirlwind of emotions, declared: "It doesn't matter now. We need to act quickly."

With surprising agility, Sarutobi leaped into action.

The ninjas, understanding the gesture, followed his lead.

Rising up, Sarutobi fixed his gaze on the imposing figure of the Nine-Tails Beast, his expression marked by intense curiosity. 'So, this is the legendary Nine-Tails Beast...'

In his world of origin, giants of comparable power had walked the earth, becoming forgotten legends, many of them linked to his own existence...

However, Sarutobi did not allow himself to be distracted. Suspended in the air, he spotted someone whom the memories and body he inherited considered almost a son, engaged in sealing part of the beast's power, fighting against the chains that restrained it.

'I arrived too late.' This thought crossed his mind, but it did not alter his serene expression. Then he thought: 'I can hear... The laments of those who can no longer bear the pain...' This perception hit him as his eyes locked on the Death Reaper's dagger and necklace.

If someone knew that he could also see the Death Reaper, even though he was not the summoner, they would be astounded with surprise...

Meanwhile, Minato looked at his wife.

"Let's trust in our son! He is our hope!" Exclaimed Minato, his voice full of determination.

"Damn you, Fourth Hokage!" The Nine-Tails Beast roared, as part of its power was skillfully sealed by Minato into himself.

Realizing Minato's intentions, who was preparing a complex seal for the newborn to seal it completely, the creature's fury escalated to new extremes.

Observing, Sarutobi could not help but be surprised. 'Minato planned to seal the Kyubi in his own son?'

The question challenged common understanding. What planning would lead to preparing such a specific ritual for a newborn?

'Minato...' Even transcending the limits of his former life, Sarutobi retained the memories and emotions of the body he now occupied. A mixture of disappointment and irritation welled up in his chest, considering the possibility of Minato being involved in the current events.

The suspicion might be exaggerated, but centuries as a weapon in the hands of humans taught 'Sarutobi' about the extent to which humans can go in pursuit of their goals, even at the cost of innocent lives.

'I hope I am wrong about Minato, but...' With a slight shake of the head, Sarutobi dismissed these thoughts, focusing on the present: 'It seems that Minato planned, from the start, to make his son the Jinchuriki...'

Moreover, there was another possibility... Perhaps Minato saw in the "sealing cradle" a way to protect both his son and the village, knowing the risks due to his connection with the Kyuubi. As Hokage, Minato certainly had various strategies prepared to face diverse situations. Sarutobi hoped that this was the true motivation behind Minato's actions...

With these thoughts, Sarutobi felt it was his time to act.

"Stretch!"

Noticing an imminent attack from the Kyuubi, Sarutobi launched himself against the beast's claw without hesitation.

"Bang!"

"Sensei!"

"Lord Third!"

Minato and Kushina, surprised and relieved by Sarutobi's arrival, turned towards him.

"Roar!!!" The Kyuubi roared, its wrath uncontrollable: "Third Hokage!!!"

"Kyubi, your fury ends here. With me in front, you will have no chance. Just wait to be sealed again!" Sarutobi declared, his voice emanating authority.

"Dream on, Third Hokage!!!" The Kyubi began to wriggle, wanting to break free from the chains. However, no matter how much the Kyubi struggled, it barely managed to loosen its bonds.

Returning his staff to its original size, he positioned himself defensively, instructing: "Minato, continue."

"Yes, sensei!" Minato responded, determined.

Meanwhile, the Kyubi, consumed by an indomitable furor and sporting a mark on its forehead that resembled the Roman numeral III; gritted its teeth so intensely that sparks seemed to emanate from its fury.

For the Kyubi, the idea of being confined within a newborn was an unprecedented outrage, elevating its rage to stratospheric levels.

"Everyone, protect Minato, Kushina, and the child at all costs. We cannot allow the Kyubi to escape!" ordered Sarutobi, his voice laden with urgency.

The newly arrived ninjas responded promptly: "Yes!"

As Minato resumed the ritual, Kushina expressed her despair and maternal love: "I cannot accept this burden for our son! Naruto doesn't deserve this! And why do you, Minato, need to sacrifice yourself?!"

Minato, his voice cold with determination, replied: "Because we are a family of ninjas."

Sarutobi, observing the scene, questioned Minato's decision to imbue his son with the Kyubi. The choice seemed deeply wrong, like planting a seed of destruction in such an innocent being without knowing when it might erupt and destroy everything around.

"Bang!"

"Minato, there are other ways." Sarutobi spoke, after striking the Kyubi, without turning around: "We don't need to impose this on your son. I can carry this burden; it's more prudent than overburdening such a new life."

"But..." Minato hesitated, looking at Sarutobi, undecided.

"Trust me. I am prepared." Sarutobi affirmed, his voice deep and confident: "Protecting the village and its inhabitants is my responsibility. That includes your son."

"Lord Third..." Kushina, surprised and grateful, understood the weight of carrying the Kyubi, a fate she would never wish for her son.

Sarutobi smiled at Kushina, a gesture of comfort and peace, before turning his serious gaze back to the Kyubi.

Internally, Sarutobi hid his true thoughts. First, there was something he wanted to experience. Second, for someone with his millennial experience as a weapon, becoming a Jinchuriki seemed like a manageable challenge.

Minato, hesitant, showed a preference for entrusting the burden to his offspring. However, in the face of Kushina's appeals and Sarutobi's firmness, he was left with only one choice to make.
