Everyone was surprised by the outcome of the battle between Naruto and Shikamaru.
Everyone thought that the Shikamaru who looked lazy at the beginning will win. After all, he is from a very powerful clan like Nara and also has learned his clan's special Jutsu Shadow Paralysis Justu.
Naruto is a clan-less person and also being hated by almost all of the villagers means the people who were supporting him or believed that he would win were almost none.
Even Sakura did not encourage Naruto in his fight. Only Jin was the person who support him and cheered for him.
"How did he do that? Kakashi, what is that technique" exaggeratedly asked Asuma to Kakashi.
Kakashi on the other hand was also shocked by Naruto's performance but not as much as his fellow Jonins.
He has seen how powerful Jin Solar Flare Technique is.
Hiruzen Sarutobi was also surprised by Naruto's performance and Jin's technique.
He long knew that Naruto have learn Jin's self-made technique Solar Flare.
He wanted to record this technique in the Konoha library now that he already has seen the technique and understood how useful this technique could be.
All the Genin was also talking about this.
Sakura and Sasuke have already seen this technique. They both smile at Naruto's win but at the same time realize how useful this technique is and wanted to ask Jin to teach this technique to them as well.
Team 10 on the other hand was also looking shocked and wanted to know what kind of technique Naruto just used.
Team 9 being the team Jin has worked the most already knew the technique. Neji especially did not like this technique at all.

Nonetheless, Shino wins without any problem.

The next match was between Tenten vs Sakura.
Now this was no surprise to Jin who is going to win this match.
Sakura had no chance at this point in time to fight and win Tenten.
While Sakura tried to charge at Tenten. Tenten started throwing all kinds of ninja tools at her and before even the battle could start properly it ended.
Winner Tenten.
The fourth match was between Choji and Kiba.
The fight itself was very simple and Kiba could have won. But Kiba could not keep his mouth shut and when he called Choji fat. He lost the battle.
Winner Choji.
Next match was Gaara vs Neji.
Jin already knew what is going to happen in this match.
The moment Neji entered the stadium. He started fighting with his soft fist technique but it did not work at all against Gaara.
Honestly, if Temari was the worst opponent for Tenten when Gaara is the worst opponent for Neji who use soft fist technique.
No matter what Neji did, he could not even touch Gaara because he was completely covered in his sand armour.
After a long struggle, Neji finally fall and was pretty badly injured by Gaara.
Winner Gaara.
Then it was Sasuke vs Ino.
Ino directly gave up before even the match started and Jump towards Sasuke Kun to start fangirling over him.
Well, Winner Sasuke.
The second last match of the semi-finals was Hinata vs Temari.
This match was also pretty interesting.
Hinata was a close-range fighter and was pretty timid and caring while Temari was a very powerful and wild kind of personality.
When the battle started. Hinata was immediately set in the backfoot.
Because of Temari's long-range ability, she was able to handle Hinata from a long range and did not have any problem ending the match from a long range.
This might be one of the most serious weaknesses of the Hyuga people.
Hinata was trying to hold her ground but the problem was that she did not have any long-range attack that she could use against Temari.
No matter how strong Hinata's will was. After some time she finally falls in front of Temari's powerful wind-style attacks.
Winner Temari.
The last match was about to start but there was no reason to call out the participants.
The only people left behind were Rock Lee and Jin Takashi.
