Eye of Mirror Wheel

Naruto was currently struggling to circulate his chakra in the balloon full of water that was in his hand. Only when he ran out of chakra he collapsed exhaustedly on the ground.

Even as an Uzumaki, just wasting chakra will get you nowhere. At least he would recover quickly with the chakra from the Kyuubi leaking out into his body.

Kaito could already feel how his reserves were slowly replenished by the second. What made it even more astonishing was how well the chakra fused together with his own chakra. That was probably the special chakra attribute their mother had. Kaito wondered if he had the same trait?

But there was no real way to tell currently since his chakra was only his own without the Kyuubi mingled into it. Speaking of chakra. His own reserves were growing by the day and that made him smile greatly. Gaining about 100 chakra points per day was a humongous amount.

It let him focus more on ninjutsu before really he actually ran dry. Though his instant dungeon still sucked him dry of half his chakra. That sadly didn't change one bit.

Looking at his progress that was made, it brought him thinking about his further actions.

'I am getting stuck at training my attributes further. Reaching a bottleneck with normal training is probably the normal outcome of things. But that makes me wonder. How does Lee exactly go beyond those?'

Rock Lee and Might Guy were both excelling in Taijutsu. While Might Guy does have chakra to complement his progress, Lee did not. Now the question is how they show such speed and strength beyond human reason without using chakra.

Kaito was not yet even remotely showing signs of inhuman strength and speed. Sure he packed a punch and was quick but that was about it. Without relying on his chakra it was hard to even imagine him be able to go toe to toe with Lee nor punching as hard as him.

Even Sakura would later win a punching contest with the current him. But then again he compares his current self with the future her.

'I already use weights around my ankles and stuff but I still can't seem to reach those 50 base points in strength...Is it maybe a small quirk of my system that I need to distribute the points I gain? Come to think of them again. I haven't even used one yet.'

Kaito looked at his status again and contemplated it. Then he shrugged his shoulders.

'Well, since I know I can still level up a lot just from the existence of that damn Monster Den it should be alright to waste a few points. I think I will make them even and get used to the changes first.'

Said and done, all his attributes became a base value of 50 after he distributed 40 of his points evenly. Hopefully, it was not wasted.

But sure enough, the moment he left his status warm energy filled his body and a series of notifications sprung open in front of his face.

'Uhm...I think I overdid it?' There was no real answer to his inner question but the power he now felt coursing through his veins was unbelievable.

Just stomping on the ground beneath him lightly produced some small cracks in it.

'Yep...definitely need getting used to that or else I could crush about anything I touch. That sure is some damn power spike.'

Sighing he looked back at the others and pushed aside everything that had to do with his status.

Weirdly enough the next thing that caught his attention is the way he was now sensing the world around him. He could feel how everywhere there was now energy surrounding them. Before, his sensor ability was nowhere near the level to pick this minuscule amount of energy up.

Now however was a different story.

He could even feel the minuscule energy flowing around Sasuke's eyes while he squinted them to concentrate on executing the Chidori in his arm.

Of course, he failed as horrendously as Naruto in executing an A rank Jutsu.

But Kaito was not looking at his eyes for that reason. It was more because of the fact that they seemed to be strained for no reason. There seemed to be a constant overload in his eye nerves for no reason.

So Kaito decided to walk over to him.

"Hey, Sasuke. Got a minute?"

When Kaito came asking that question Sasuke raised a brow and stopped his training. "What is it?"

"I gotta ask this, but did you already awaken your Sharingan?"

"No, I haven't." Sasuke was now rather confused about why Kaito came over to ask that specific question.

"Hmm...Interesting. Then how about this?" Kaito made a hand sign and then whistled. 'Genjutsu: Nightmare Seeking Wind Demon.'

"What do you...?" Before Sasuke could even ask what was up his eyes defocused and he stood there like a statue.

"Kaito, what are you doing?", asked Kakashi now after seeing him having used a Genjutsu on Sasuke.

"I am wondering about something. And we are about to see if my theory works. It may be unpleasant for him but he won't be harmed.", answered Kaito to Kakashi.

"Genjutsu may still inflict mental trauma on people!" Kakashi was actually not pleased at all with that answer.

But then suddenly Sasuke was moving again and breathing heavily. His eyes were darting about everywhere around and then stopped at Kaito.

"YOU!" Sasuke grabbed Kaito's collar and grit his teeth while glaring at him. "What was that Genjutsu you put me in!? Are you making fun of me!?"

Kaito on the other hand did not say sorry but only smiled, looking at the now crimson eyes of Sasuke.

"Well, just as I thought. Someone else already had sealed your Sharingan with a Genjutsu. The moment your right eye gained its second tomoe was the moment the Genjutsu stopped suppressing it."

At that answer, Sasuke frowned and then looked at Kakashi to the side. Kakashi only nodded towards him in confirmation.

Sasuke really had his Sharingan active currently and after calming down he also could feel the strain in his chakra flow around his eyes. Taking a mirror he looked into it and saw that he really had his Sharingan now.

"So, how about thanks?", asked Kaito from over his shoulder.

That got Sasuke frowning again and after he managed to deactivate his Sharingan he glared at Kaito. "I am still not over the fact what you showed me with that Genjutsu! You should stay out of my head, you hear me?"

Kaito only shrugged his shoulders. "That Genjutsu of mine only shows the deep lingering fears inside someone. I don't really know what you saw there."

Hearing his answer Sasuke somehow calmed down and even sighed. Without saying a word more he walked away to continue his training.

Kaito scratched his neck and watched him walk away. Naruto came over and looked at him as well.

"What got into him?", asked Naruto.

"Beats me. I helped him gain his Sharingan and in return get the cold shoulder.", smiled Kaito wrily. Of course, he knew much more than that, but that was what had happened after all.

"Really? Man, he sure is a proud one. It's not like it would hurt him to trust us." Naruto on the other hand got a little bit cranky hearing that Sasuke was still feeling high and mighty. But it also pumped him back up and he also continued his own training.

"Kaito, how did you came to that theory of yours?" Kakashi was still interested in hearing why he did it in the first place.

"Well, I could sense a weird strain in his chakra flow. And since it was around his eyes it should have something to do with his Kekkei Genkai. Looking at sensei and comparing it made me sure of it."

"Wait, you could sense such subtle changes? That makes you a sensor. How far can your senses reach?" Now Kakashi was surprised.

"Not sure?" Looking around and even closing his eyes for a moment Kaito continued. "Maybe a km?" He was genuinely not sure about it yet. His senses seemed to have gotten stronger.

He really had to get used to it fast. A few hours inside his dungeon with a dozen shadow clones should do the trick.
