[Chapter 5] Training and Unlocking Chakra

Konoha,

Morning 5:30 AM,

'Today is the day I start my training!', thought Ryo excitedly.

'Okay now, I have to be calm and disciplined, that is rule number 1 in Swordsmanship.'

Ryo was a Swordmaster so he knew the basics which were very important.

From his years of experience Ryo was confident that if he practiced the basics, he could create a new style which will complement his new powers without any help.

Ryo did his daily routine, then he wore his training attire and was all set to go.

He made breakfast and again left a note for his brother.

Though he was busy all day, he did not neglect Souta and made time for him and would continue to do so in the evening.

They played games and Ryo also started telling him many stories he read as a child in his previous life which made Souta happy.

Souta was mature too, far beyond the children of his age.

He always looked up to his brother and picked it up from him.

He knew what his brother was doing for their own good.

Ryo started running around the village. He did 2 laps which was quite a lot considering that the village was very big. Then he went to his secret training ground.

As he reached he sat down and leaned against a tree to rest.

*Huff* "This village is so damn big" *Huff* said Ryo while breathing heavily.

Having a wooden sword which he had purchased the day before behind his back did not make it any easier for him.

After few minutes Ryo got up and started doing some excercise.

He did 100 pushups, 100 situps, 100 crunches, 100 squats and planks.

This was his limit for now.

He was sweating buckets but had determination in his eyes.

"Bring it on!!" shouted Ryo with a smile on his face

After some rest, he picked up his sword and started doing vertical slashes.

After doing 500 vertical slashes, he had lunch which he had brought from home.

'Now comes the most important part.' thought Ryo with a calm expression.

It was a sunny day, cool winds were blowing all over the village, in the centre of a forest, a boy of age around 5 years could be seen holding a sword in front of him, with his eyes closed and his body not moving an inch.

As the wind blew past him, he slowly opened his eyes and started Swinging the sword.

He was swinging the sword as if he had done it for decades, it was as if he was one with the sword.

Ryo's face was as calm as a river on a non windy day.

His steps were simple yet mesmerizing to watch.

The minutes passed by and he started repeating his steps, every time with a little more speed.

He did not faulter even once. After doing that for a while he stopped and closed his eyes.

His breath was balanced, same as when he started.

After a minute he opened his eyes and put his body to ease.

'This feeling.... it is as if I was only Training yesterday. My body is so much stronger and flexible than the one in my previous life. At this rate I will definitely surpass my previous self by a very large margin. It feels like that restraint that bothered my previous self is fully gone.' thought Ryo with a small smile on his face.

"I will do this for one month and then unlock my chakra, I can't wait for what changes will happen!" said Ryo excitedly.

He then exited the forest and went to the library.

After reading for a while he went home.

A Month Later:

In the middle of a forest, Ryo was leaning on a tree smiling and thinking,

'My strength and stamina have improved a lot in this month, I think it's time to unlock my chakra!'

'I will not do it here since I don't know what will happen and I don't want this place to be exposed.'

Ryo put his sword on his back and left.

'I don't want any unnecessary trouble so it is better that I go somewhere else. I have a hunch that something is going to happen.'

After a moment of thinking....

'Oh yes!! How could I forget Training ground 45! It is surrounded by trees and it will take anbus some time to reach there if something happened. The problem with that ground is that it is the only one in that area and easy to locate and if I remember correctly it is abandoned as it has many craters maybe caused due to some explosive jutsu.'

Ryo ran on the streets and reached the training ground without anyone noticing.

'If I remember correctly first I have to feel my chakra which will need a lot of concentration and then I have to try to circulate it around my body, through all chakra points. After one cycle the chakra will be unlocked.' Thought Ryo as he sat down in a meditative position.

He followed the exact steps that were written in the book about opening chakra.

He felt that the difficulty was highly exaggerated as he could easily feel his chakra in the abdomen.

He then started circulating chakra through his chakra points as the cycle completed something spectacular happened.

Ryo's body got surrounded by purple blue lightning and his body started glowing!

His muscles contracted, it was as if every cell in his body was being charged!

The lightning raged violently and out of control!

Sparks covered the whole training field, the ground below Ryo was turned into a huge crater!

All the trees around started shaking and finally unable to hold the ground, collapsed!

Finally there was a huge **boom** sound which spread throughout the whole village.

All people started to panic, it was a total chaos all around the village.

Ryo opened his eyes slowly.

His dark blue eyes were shining like a beautiful gem, all others would pale in comparison to the pair of eyes.

The lightning slowly faded, Ryo stood still and looked around with a shocked expression, only to find the whole place destroyed he panicked.

'I need to run away from here as fast as I can.' thought Ryo with panic.

He started running and what surprised him was that he could run very fast, which was comparable to a chunin but Ryo did know that yet.

He ran towards the panicked crowd and got mixed up with them.

He made his way to his home, no one noticed him due to the chaos.

After calming down Ryo chuckled and thought,'I have to be more careful next time. On the other hand Deidara would be smiling if he saw this.'

Luckily for Ryo, the anbu did not spot him.

If he had started to leave some seconds later, he would have been surely caught.

Ryo thought he had deicived the anbu easily, he still didn't not know the strength scale of this world.

*Achoo* ' Who is cursing me?! Must be that puny old man Onoki, hmph.' thought Deidara with a frown
