In one of the classrooms, the Chunin Teacher stood in front of the students holding a form.

"Next, Kozuki Shiro..."

announced the teacher as a boy who was around 1.6m high with jet black hair and black eyes wearing a purple samurai rob along with a sword hanging at his waist came to the black board.

It's been two years since the incident of White Fang and 4 years since Kozuki joined the Academy.

"You passed as well, Kurenai" said Kozuki arriving in front of her looking at headband.

"Humph...do you think I won't, don't take me easy I have already learned an awesome Jutsu from my father" snorted Kurenai arrogantly putting a proud expression.

"Yeah... Yeah...I know you are the best" said Kozuki helplessly as he knew this little girl just wanted to be praised.

"It's good, you know it" turned her head towards other side hiding her blushing face.

During these years, Kurenai was like a glue always sticking to Kozuki as their friendship turned into something special at least for Kurenai.

Ninja World was really strange even 9-year-old Kids would think of things out of there age. (It's just fantasy I know this doesn't happen in reality, so don't take it seriously).

After the graduation test, everyone went home as tomorrow the students will be sorted into squads.

Kozuki House.

The wind blew bringing leaves in the courtyard.

Kozuki stood straight holding the handle of the sword slung at his waist and had his eyes closed.

Swish... Swish...

Suddenly, Kozuki opened his eyes and a slashing sound spread in the void as the sword was sheathed and re-sheathed at a speed invisible to the naked eye as red light flashed.

A ten-meter-long deep gully appeared at the ground underneath Kozuki from the terrible slash.

"I now have full control of my movements" said Kozuki as he didn't care about the damage caused by the slash

During these two years, Kozuki wasn't lazy in his training as he trained the best he could.

Though his Swordsmanship was still at the Stage 2 but it has become more refined.

The slash just now, he sheathed and re-sheathed the sword at a speed during which the opponent could hardly print a single seal.

"I finally now have the ability to protect myself in the upcoming war" said Kozuki looking at the blue sky above thinking all the effort he put into his training was worth it.

The friction between small countries near the border of Land of Fire has increased dramatically.

Though, there was no excuse for the other Shinobi villages to launch the war on Konoha but Kozuki knew only a small conflict was enough to cause a war.

The current year is the 43rd year of the foundation of Konoha, Kozuki knew that the next year the war will erupt for sure.

Ninja Academy.

Today is the day for the formation of three-person ninja squad guided by a Jonin.

The Chunin Teacher arrived as everyone quieted down and he started announcing the squads.

"Yes we're together" shouted Kurenai as she hugged Kozuki sitting beside excitedly.

Kozuki was stunned looking at the over-excited Kurenai in his arms but finally sighed and said nothing letting her do whatever she wants to.

After calming down, Kurenai understood how bold she was immediately moving away blushing as she put her head in her knees, embarrassed.

"There's no need to be embarrassed I'm happy as well, being with you" encouraged Kozuki tapping her head as the embarrassed Kurenai finally lifted her head.

"Hello I'm Shizune Kato I'll be in your care" Kozuki heard a voice and saw a quite looking around his age with black eyes, black hair stood in front of him.

"I'm Kozuki Shiro" told Kozuki as he recognized the girl in front of him.

Shizune, Tsunade's disciple in the future.

"Oh it's you Shizune" said Kurenai happily as both of them were friends already so they started talking with each other ignoring Kozuki who bored could only wait for the teacher.
