S2 Ch 11 (Ch 99) : New Support mission (2)
After telling the anbu that they would take the support mission, Sanada and Temari didn't waste any more time as they quickly left toward the direction indicated in the mission scroll.
Because of Sanada's previous training, Temari's physique was a lot better than her original counterpart. The Temari right now was somehow able to partially use the wind style chakra armor to enhance her legs and increase her speed.
By the time the two reached the place indicated in the mission scroll, Sanada could see some broken armor alongside the areas.
From its look, a battle was taking place at night on a desolate seaside beach between Sunagakure ninja and soldiers wearing bulky suits of armor.
Despite their best efforts, the Sand Ninjas were slowly overwhelmed by the sheer strength of their mysterious opponents.
But because of the timely arrival of reinforcements, led by Kankurō and Gaara, the Sand ninjas were able to turn the tide of battle, with Kankurō slicing apart a suit of armor with his puppet and Gaara dispatching a large number of enemies with his signature Sand Waterfall Imperial Funeral.
However, things weren't just that simple. In front of Sanada and Temari now was a large warship with its own arsenal of heavy weapons.
The Sand Shinobis was looking at the big warship full of curiosity, but all of a sudden, Sanada got a very bad feeling.
" Retreat!!!!"
Sanada shouted much to the surprise of the Sand Shinobi.
They were surprised to see Sanada here, but when they saw that Temari was standing next to Sanada, they knew that this was another reinforcement.
The Sand Shinobi immediately followed Sanada's words as they retreated, but just the moment they retreated, The ship then opens fire with its guns.
BOOMM!!! BOOMMM!!! BOOMM!!!!!
Numerous huge explosions were happening on the shore.
Luckily, the Sand Shinobi was fast enough to retreat, and this time there were no casualties on their sides.
The Sand Shinobis were looking at the damage caused by the ship, and their mouth gaped in awe.
Such a power, if it was able to be mass-produced, then it wouldn't be strange if the functionality of the power could even rival a Bijuu.
While the ninjas were looking at the power with shock, Sanada on the other hand was very enthusiastic.
With such great power, it wouldn't be strange if they could revitalize Suna's land. If Sanada wasn't wrong, the movie ended with Temujin using the Gelel stone to turn the wasteland into an Oasis.
' The Gelel stone is good and all, but first, we need to deal with the enemy first!'
Sanada looked at Temari, and the two nodded at each other.
Looking at the huge firepower of the ship, it would only be a disaster if they tried to attack it from afar, so Sanada and Temari immediately had a common understanding.
" Temari, close the distance and wipe them up from inside!"
" Got it, Sensei!"
The master and disciples duo didn't waste any more time as they entered their own chakra armor mode. Temari with the partial wind chakra armor mode, and Sanada with the partial lightning chakra armor mode.
Adding the Total concentration breathing to the equation, two flashes of blue and green light flashed toward the big warship.
" So fast..."
" Is that Miss Temari... She's so dazzling!!"
The Sand Ninjas watched Temari full of shock and amazement. The condition of Sunagakure recently was pretty bad as they lacked a strong powerhouse, so when they saw a glimmer of hope in Temari, they couldn't help but feel a bit elated.
" Is that Temari... Damn, how could she be so strong!"
Even Kankuro was watching the scene in front of him, full of disbelief. He knew her sister's strength prior to the training with Sanada, so when Temari displayed something like this, Kankuro didn't really know what to say.
The only calm one among all of them was Gaara. Even though Sanada had hidden his identity, it didn't really escape the eyes of Gaara.
He was used to someone seeing him with contempt or disgust, so when he first saw that clear eyes Sanada, he immediately realized that it was just Sanada under disguise.
Still, Gaara was reasonable enough not to uncover Sanada's identity. He knew that there might be some special circumstances, and he didn't want his intervention to bother Sanada.
The Big warship tried to repel Sanada and Temari off, but no matter how hard the big warship tried or how many shot it launched, the two flashing light was just way too fast.
A few flashes and half of the cannon had been obliterated by Sanada and Temari, and now all that's left was to clear the ship from the insides.
The ship actually tried to escape, but it was just a futile attempt under the watch of the two.
" Temari, I'll take the front, you go from behind!"
" Got it, Sensei!"
Temari and Sanad then moved just like what he instructed
Sanada entered from the front, and he killed everyone that was blocking his path.
Kindness to the enemy would only kill yourself, and that was what Sanada was practicing right now, especially when the enemies were someone that had obliterated a few small towns with a lot of civilians.
One slash and more than two People in Iron Armor were cut down by Sanada.
Sanada right now was just like a menace to the enemy.
No matter what they were trying to do, they wouldn't be able to escape Sanada's blade, and all they could do was just pray that Sanada would end this quickly.
" Sorry for you all, but for all the sins you guys have committed, I need you guys to die!"
